Hey friends, welcome back to my channel. I was inspired to make this video after reading some comments from my video I posted called. I hate my pixie that was about a month ago, so it's been a month since I've gotten my pixie. As you can see, it's a little bit longer today, which I really like in the video I said, I think I'll, like it better when it grows out a bit, and that has definitely been the case. I'Ve really grown to love it and work with it, but also I've just learned to live with different style hair, and it looks different on me and feel confident in my own skin and I actually really enjoy it now, and I don't see myself growing it out At least for a year, or so maybe it's just a cool phase in my life, I'm liking it and yes, I get mine, since my opinion has kind of changed on it. As time has gone by. I wanted to share some pros and cons of my pixie that I've realized to share with you if you are considering getting a pixie and you have longer hair right now, these tips will hopefully either convince you one way or the other or they'll just help you. When you do get your pixie and so you're more prepared for what its gon na be like a lot of people in the comments of that video said that they were going to get a pixie, and I found my video from that. So I wanted to provide an update, a more positive update for you all that, especially are considering getting a pixie. I have the notes on my notepad of my iPhone and before we get started, if you're not already subscribed, I would really appreciate it if you did by clicking that red button down below. I make videos about my pixie and hair and cruelty free beauty as well as lifestyle and some vlogs. So if you like those kinds of videos, I would really appreciate it if you stuck around okay, so let's see I have a lot more pros and cons. First of all, so that's good, but let's just kind of bounce between them, so the first pro obviously, is that it's a lot more unique than most hairstyles. I am the type of person that I really like to be not I like to be different, but I strive to be myself and if that means I'm different and that's okay, like I might wear outfits that people don't are cute or pretty. But you know if I like it, that's what matters. So if you are one of those types of people or you're striving to be more comfortable in your skin by going outside the box, a pixie is awesome, because not many woman have it and, as a result, I find myself getting more. Compliments not that it matters, but more people are they point out my hairstyle, as opposed to when I had even a bob. But again I don't get my self-worth from those comments, but I just think that's interesting that people are often thinking that Pixies are less attractive to men and women, but I actually think it might be the opposite. But that's just my opinion then also okay. So a con is that I kind of have ponytail Envy or bun Envy like when I was in college and I was working or studying. I just loved the feeling of throwing my hair up in a bun, and I just don't get that feeling nowadays. But what can you do? Umm, I'm gon na say I'm a lot. Okay, then a lot of the pros come from styling. So, for example, when I'm in the shower, I use different products, but all I basically use in my hair is shampoo. I have one styling product that I use in the shower from lush sometimes, but it's not necessary. I only use shampoo and very little of it, obviously, because I have less hairs on my head, but also I don't use conditioner anymore, because I I have pretty oily hair naturally, and it gets oily within 24 hours. So, for that reason I really don't use conditioner anymore unless I'm using a deep conditioner, in which case I would use something like coconut oil, so I save money by using less product and not using conditioner in the shower, which is cool. Another good thing is fast drying time, especially if you're just throwing the blow-dryer through it. It takes zero time to get it dry, but also it's at least with my style of pixie like I have these longer pieces and then shoulder on the side. It takes longer to I have to do my hair well more often, so, even though it might take less than minutes as opposed to what I have long hair, it actually well I'll. Do that more frequently like I'll do that every morning, as opposed to when I have long hair and it air dried fine, does that make sense like it? Just doesn't look good air dried in my opinion and with my hair, so okay, but the downside for me is that now I have to shower in the morning I always used to be a night shower, but now I have to get hour in the morning because But I want my hair to look good. I have to do it in the morning if, after I sleep on it, it looks kind of there. Another Pro is, if you have a multi toned hair. I only have like brown hair with a few natural highlights, but if you have multi toned hair highlights stuff like that, it looks awesome with that and then also earrings stand out more so because my hair does not go down to my shoulders. My earrings stand out more, which is cool because you know, if you buy jewelry, you kind of want to show it off right. Another con is that, even though it might take a little less time, I find myself using way more products and styling products in my hair. So in the shower, I only shampoo once I get out, I use you know what just check out the video I'll have it linked above where I show my everyday styling routine. I do end up using more products, but I don't really mind that because I just don't really mind it because I love trying new products anyways. The last Pro is actually really really random. But that's when I'm driving and you put your head or if you're on an airplane or something you put your head back on the headrest. It just goes right to your head, like you, don't have a ponytail there or you're, not gon na, like mess up your long, wavy, hair or anything like that. You just put your head on back headrest and there's nothing there. It just really really feels cool. I don't know it was just that was just a random one, but that was one of the first things I noticed a couple days after getting my hair cut, so those were all the pros and cons I can think of right now. If you have a pixie, let me know in the comments down below some additional pros and cons. I forgot: let's have this video be a place where people who have Pixies can give people who are thinking of getting Pixies advice and tips and their experience? If you are going to get a pixie, I would highly recommend it. Even though, if you watched my last video, it sounded like, I didn't recommend it. I have really grown to love it and feel confident in my own skin and that's what matters so. Thank you. So much for watching this video and I'll see my next one. Bye,

Barbara Amelia: Great video! Glad to know you love your hair now. ♥️ Another pro is that you have nothing to hide behind (i.e.- long hair), therefore, you end up feeling more confidence, in general. People pick up on this and it commands respect in some.surprising ways. I noticed this the same day I got my pixie. People who normally overlooked me went out of their way to speak to me. A pixie demands attention, I suppose. :)

Gracie-Animations: I AM SO EXCITED! I AM GETTING ONE TOMORROW!!!!!

Bluelady32 -: I just got a pixie, I had a pixie for a few years a while back. I love the style. My husband loves it too, I feel like a lady more so than with long hair. Don't be afraid to try something new ☺!

mina hanna: Pixie pros: your curves will stand out more and clothes will look more chic!

Sarah Carol Williams: Cons: my ears and neck are going to be so cold come winter, I have to blowdry every time I wash it, it looks ridiculous when it's wet so for swimming that's no fun. Pros: Sooooo low maintenance, a lot of compliments (from girls and guys), I don't fidget with my hair anymore (nervous habit).

Radioactivreg: I really like that I can just wake up and my hair looks fine.

Ava Elizabeth: If you have a pixie, leave your pros and cons below! If you are thinking of getting a pixie, what questions do you have?? xoxo

Isa Rose: Pro: you might cut your hair during a mental breakdown but pixies look awesome so it's fine

thehalfbloodqueen _: I think my mum is finaly coming round to letting me get a pixie YASSSSSS

Sofi V A: The morning shower thing is so true! It goes in weird directions if I let it dry overnight but looks cute if it dries upright. One thing I've noticed is that I used to spend a lot of time combing and untangling my long/medium length hair after showers but now combing it takes virtually no time! And it never tangles! It's so practical and comfortable, I love it.

Sam Carter: I’m hoping to get a pixie very soon!! I wanna get it a bit longer on the edges and a bit shorter than your top but I’m very excited to see how it turns out because the shortest I’ve had my hair is chin length

Joan Gentile: I love my pixie hairstyle!! It feels great!! We live down in the South. It helps a lot with the heat and the humidity down here in Houston. I have had short hair for 30 years, since we moved to Houston from the Northeast. It's too damn hot and humid in Houston to have long hair. My hair is coarse and very wavy. It's also cut in layers, which helps a lot to make my hair look thicker. I'm 66 years old. I love my short hair at my age.

Vegankeel: I have been thinking about getting a pixie cut for a while now and every summer I feel like I’m getting closer and closer to actually doing it and I think I’m gonna do it this video helped a lot thank you so much PS you are rocking this haircut your face and your smile is beautiful and so is your hair ❤️

sophie: I have been wanting a pixie for years now and I've been nagging my dad about it lately and he got me an appointment for Thursday, June 13! I'm so excited because it's the Friday before!

Skiferrr: I am probably getting a pixie cut in about an hour and I'm really excited... also your video is really helpful/good!

Tangerine Tundra AG: Could you do a 360-degree view of your pixie? Like if you spun around in front of the camera so we could see it from all angles? My hair is thin-ish and gets oily fast as well and your haircut would work very well for me, I think. It would be awesome to have a video or something like that so my stylist knows how to cut it. Thanks! -Adrienne

Tropically Fit (TropicallyFit.com): I recently cut my hair into a pixie too. I have new video on my channel about it (check it out... I'd love to hear your feedback on it!) I LOVE having short hair... you are so right it dries super FAST and I LOVE the feeling of not having hair on the back of my head. I'm too am growing my side bang out to be a little longer. You look goo in a pixie :) I too LOVE LOVE being able to rest my head backwards without my pony tail being in the way... that used to drive me crazy!! LOL

Betsali Aguilar: My pro for my pixie is that it’s less time drying it and once I style it it good for a day or two!!! But my con is that my hair is a bit thick so when I’m having a bad hair day and my hair doesn’t want to lay right I don’t have that ponytail option anymore

symxttry: My mom said that I can get a pixie! So I am going to get one when school ends, and I’m ecstatic! I do sailing and it will be a lot easier to see, as of the blowing wind.

Brook Bear: Late comment, but I'm getting a pixie as soon as social distancing stuff is over and I'm SUPER excited! I really hope it looks good on me, it looks AMAZING on you!

will: your videos about pixies are really helping me! thank you :)

LGBT_Gacha .Editz: At the end of the semester {like a week or 2, or 3 I forgot} I'm planning on asking if I can get one. I'm planning on getting a side swept undercut with the side no longer than the bottom of my ear. My hair is currently about to the bottom of my shoulder blades... Let's see if my mom and grandma will let me.

Luna Lovegood: I’m thinking about getting a pixie cut and this really helped! Thanks

Susan Burgess: I have grey hair, am older as well, but because of the pandemic couldnt get it cut. Ive been wanting a pixie haircut for a long time, but i've been afraid of stylists. I was highly one lady by a friend of mine, so im gonna go for it. Wish me luck❤❤❤

Simply Sy: I'm thinking about a pixie. Thanks for this video . This really helped me narrow down my decision

Munni: Your eyes are amazing!! With the pixie they pop out even more! :)

Ella Tye: Im getting my 2nd pixie really soon, I had one a year ago but I grew it out into a bob, then decided I wanted one again so it's happening really soon

Katja Hills: I’m really excited to cut my hair, I’m getting it cut some time before the new year!!! Start the new decade with new hair!

Katelyn Armstrong: I've been debating on if I should get a pixie for about a year now, and tomorrow is the day. It is time for a new look. ( have had 24 inch hair for 8 years )

LGBT_Gacha .Editz: I just got one and I love it.

Bruna Louise: I always liked this style but I felt a bit insecure because I'm a bit chubby but whatever I do I'm going to do it

Red Beauty: My hair is the exact same cut as yours! But I’m looking forward for my hair to grow longer lol

Caitlin Harris: I'm getting a pixie on Friday and i'm quite nervous but at the same time i'm really looking forward to it. my mum does my hair, i can't do my own hair so i decided to get a pixie so i could do my hair myself but I'm quite nervous that i won't beable to style it myself so do you have any styling tips??

rac717: My wife recently saw a picture of herself with her pixie cut, and asked me why I didn't stop her. She hated it more than I did. lol P.S. You are too sweet!!!

ghost: im getting a pixie cut tomorrow!! kind of nervous though because ive never cut my hair really short, i hope it goes well

Shaniafan1: I decided something I’m gonna keep my pixie cut I work with kids and they always ask are you a boy? Lol it’s funny tbh

Susan Ruby: My husband loves it when I have a pixie cut. He doesn't like my hair long. My hair is thin and really stringy, so long is not good for me.

Phan Trash: i got a pixie and i used a pic of you to show what i wanted and im in love

Roul: If you are thinking of getting one, you totally should. It takes so much less time to make it look nice. Really the only con I can think of is the bed head. You end up looking like a bomb went off in your face half the time. That said, it takes like two seconds to brush and them you look presentable again. Also, I've found my style of pixie to be incredibly versatile.

Dat_one_clumsy_dino _: I’m getting a pixie today and I am so nervous bcs my hair is down to my butt

becky quick: I take my shower at night , and wash hair under my high faucet kitchen sink or on my knees at side of my bathtub. I have oily hair and have to wash daily. I prefer my shower at night. Doesn't take long with short hair at all.

P M: It looks really good, that length is really nice

yoongi x: i wanna do a pixie but i have wavy ish straight hair :c and im scared i end up not liking it, do you think it will still look good, should i still try it???

Susan Burgess: I now want a pixie❤❤❤

Tanya Delgado-Valencia: It definitely suits her. Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Katie Sackoff from BSG? And also a little Brittany Murphyesque.

Blue Orange: My hair is down to my waist.... getting a pixie cut tomorrow!!!

howto pepsicola: i got a pixie about a year ago, and have been mistaken as a boy everywhere i go. i don’t even correct them since i’m to scared to

Neco Mimi: I've been wanting to get a pixie for a while and I was excited about it but a lot of people are saying I shouldn't. They think that it will look bad and if the hairstylist screws it up, then it can't be fixed. This is kind of scaring me away and I'm not sure what to do. They said I should get a bob instead so that its not too short but I'm not sure if I'm crazy about that idea. I'm in a pickle. Is there some kind of in between?

Susan Burgess: I love your hair. Thank you hon❤❤❤

E bee: This is so random but you look so much like Alison Brie!

Martina Lola fraser: I have industrial Piercing daith and streached ears to my right left ear is cartilage rook tragus streached lob I can now show it off plus bright blue hair
