So hello, so over the past two years I've tried growing out my mix. I got so far six months in I cut it and regret fit, and so here we are trying again for a second time. So this is what I learned in the past about two years of trying to grow out my hair. It it's been a it's been a journey, but it's also been a very big struggle because through this process I did a lot of research. I was trying to find out so much information. How can I make this manageable? How can I do this and it be bearable and quick? I found them honestly. Everything was the same. Don'T shampoo and conditioner your hair too often wear hats. Wear scars! Do this this! This and this - and this isn't helping me because here he'd do these things. So in the past few months I have come up with a couple of different ways to grow out your hair quicker and more bearable. The experience is not fun for anyone. However, there's gon na come a point in time where you're gon na decide. Oh, I want to grow up my hair and it's gon na stop, but we're gon na do it and we're gon na power through it, and so here we are so with. That being said, hope you enjoy this video, so hello. This is my hair, just dried from a shower. I'Ve been throwing out the top for about a month or so so it's coming to the point where it's too heavy to go like that. But it's too long to go like this and I have really thick hair. So it's already it's the point where I don't know what to do. After looking into it and deciding I'm gon na grow out, my hair, I was trying to figure out the most comfortable in the most favorable way that do this and it's a bit different, so hold on bear with me. I decided to go with an undercut. What this isn't growing your hair out, but hear me out so if I grow out the top and keep cutting off the sides, I'm not gon na go through those awkward stages of a mullet and trying to figure out what to do, because it's not a bob. It'S not it's, not a pixie cut anymore, it's just there and it sucks. So once your hair starts getting to a length where you can start putting it up like this, it's not gon na be so awkward. It'S not gon na look so bad. So the longer it gets, the less it's going to look like an undercut and you'll be able to wear it down and grow them out and it'll be so much easier than having to deal with a bullet going through that all the time. So that's what I'm going to personally do, especially because I'm going to Central America for three months - and I know it's gon na - be heavy and hot, and this is the best way that I can figure out to do so. This is the most convenient way to do that. There is plenty of pictures on Pinterest and on Instagram to find inspiration to see if you think that it would work for you. This isn't for everyone, and I know that this is kind of different from growing out a pixie cut completely. But my overall one is a bob, and so once my hair gets long enough to that, Bob I'll start going out the undercut. That'S and hopefully it works. So the next thing that I have found that I thought was a hoax that I thought wasn't actually going to work whatsoever. Is these hair skin and nail vitamins? This is not a sponsored video whatsoever. I love you so much. I have such weak nails. Okay, such weak nails that I've never been able to grow on my nails, I don't bite them. I don't peel them. I don't do any of that, but they break so easily that they're so weak. I'Ve never had long nails ever. Okay, look at this! This is the most long they've ever been, and I know you're probably thinking that's not long to me. That is so long so long. I have to cut my size every three weeks which I've never had to do it. I could go six weeks without having to deal with that, so my hair is growing so quickly, not to mention that I have to shave my legs three times a week. Maybe four that's a pain in the butt. However, I'm willing to deal with that in order to get longer hair much much quicker, you can also buy biotin, which is basically the same thing. However, I believe you have to take about three pills versus two and you only have to do this once a day and I think it's recommended doing it two to three times a day, but the biotin I'm sure every brand is different. But for me it works and my skin is also clearing up, so it really is for her, who would have thought that and itself is a miracle. So this one made me up more on the obvious side, but curling it and braiding it. That could be a bit obvious, but you also may be thinking my hair is not long enough to be able to use a curling iron. I recommend using go straightener, a smaller straightener, which is what I used to do I'll, link a couple videos and show you a couple of pictures of what I looked like when I did this a couple years ago. My hair was actually, I think, a little shorter, and so it worked out - and it took me - maybe 10 minutes max, because I had a lot less hair and it was just so much easier and when I wanted to look a little more feminine. This was like the perfect thing to do: it's stuck it through and it would stay curly all day long. I could even go to bed and wake up with it more curly and once again I have really thick hair, so maybe that's just a blessing. During the end, when I was about 4 months into the growing out period, I could actually braid my hair. The first time I could braid my hair. I was so happy. I would do little French braids, I didn't do them my best friend's. Are them but like you, may need another person to do it because I couldn't have done it myself, but you'll get to the point where you can do that and I recommend doing it because it's a new new style. I also every single day every single day. I would put my hair in a bun on the top because it was the best way. I knew how to do it. It got boring, I hated it, but it was the only way that I knew to look decent. I never wore my hair down completely because my hair is so weird and I also had to grow out the fact that I had reached my hair sleep and it was bad. So I don't recommend bleaching it or going through any back, especially because it's making your hair way less healthy and that can slow down the growing out process. It may make it more fun and bearable to an extent, but I don't recommend if you want to grow it out faster. It'S just gon na make it more dead and you may need to cut it. It'S just gon na be a mess along with the cutting cut. Your mullet, please I didn't do this and I regret it. It would have made it easier and cuter and I wish I would have done it. People told me to do it. I didn't listen because I didn't wan na cut it. I was too scared that people were gon na ruin it. Let your mom cut it. I don't know just get rid of it. If you want hi, I'm Riley know what you're thinking. How did she grow out? Your hair so quickly. Well, let me tell you, I might still be learning how to wear it and style it, but I can use quinones mothertrucker. Let me tell you it's great and I know it's probably a little messy because I wore it out last night and I got so many compliments. I was like this makes me miss my long hair, so much more, but believe it or not, wearing a wig can make your life so much easier. I wish that I would have thought about this way sooner, but it just makes it more fun. Wan na play. It down a little bit and got like a pink wig like me, literally just put a hat on and you're like look at me, and I don't look good in hats. So the fact that I look pretty decent now, I feel like I'm just floating on air. Of course wings can be a bit more expensive. Sometimes you replicate a decent amount to find a good wig. However, if you do find a good wig for a good cost, invest website that I would recommend, is Fox. Wigs reason being is because they are so high quality for the money that you're gon na spend, and I know for a fact that I've owned other wigs before and I wish I wouldn't have bought them. I wish I would have thought about this. The first time around, but I didn't so now that I've figured this out. You might be seeing me wear this thing quite on it and if you use the code, rioting you'll get 30 % off and let me and you're not gon na regret it. The link will be in the description below so just click on so last but not least, head scarves, head scarves have changed my life whenever I have a bad hair day or don't have time to deal with it or just wash my hair and have to go Somewhere, this is the best way that I learned how to deal with that, and all you need is a scarf. I got these in my grandma's closet. My grandma is like 19, so you can also kind of 5 where you head scarves. I used to wear this thing all the time and I loved it, and now it's like not the color that it originally was because I wore it so much. There'S also quite a lot of makeup on that. But these things have literally helped me so much with the growing out process. I wish that I would have known about these the first time around, but I didn't so. We learned our lesson. I made a video of me trying to learn how to do this. I highly recommend watching it and learning for my mistakes. I'Ve gotten so much better. This took me a minute to do it's just all about practice, so this is about this size. So it's not even really that big, the larger the scarf the easier it's gon na be, but this is what I do on a daily basis. This morning I didn't care about what I looked like. So I put one of these on put my glasses on. I looked amazing, so yeah what what can you say so yeah those are all the ANU, so I've learned to deal with growing out or make me cut. It'S been a real struggle, but I'm glad that I know have some interesting ways to see what my issue is. This is one issue out of the way right now. I love you guys so much I'll see you guys in the next video

institches27: I like my pixie cut, but I also like growing it out through various stages so I can wear different styles. Since you seem to hate yours, can I offer you some tips on doing it gracefully? 1) Experiment a lot. As your hair keeps growing, different styles will become available. Don't forget to try styling wet vs. dry and dirty vs. freshly washed. 2) Style it up and back, into a kind of pompadour. It's a classic style that works for a lot of lengths. As it really gets long, you can use bobby pins to hold in in place. 3) You can actually do braids WAY sooner than you think. You could braid yours now. Instead of a three-strand french braid, you can do a two-strand thing. Just pick up new strands from your scalp as the first ones get too short. I usually do these braids along the sides of my head or along my face instead of straight back. If they won't stay, try spritzing some hairspray before you braid and/or braid while wet. Then secure with bobby pins. 4) BOBBY PINS. Seriously. They open up a lot of options. 5) Usually, the worst part of growing out a pixie is when the layers get too long and start...poofing? And your head looks like a mushroom? But you don't have to deal with that. You can actually go in and thin out your hair without taking off length from the bottom. If your hair is thick, your stylist probably does it as a matter of course. There are special scissors and razors that made for it. I do this myself, but your hairstylist can do it for you. Some people recommend scarves, hats, hairbands, etc., but I think they look stupid on me. I had much better luck working with my hair instead of hating it. Good luck?

Emily Anne: If you have acne prone skin, be careful with biotin! I’m growing out my pixie cut (7 months in) and took biotin for about 3 months and my acne got reallyyyyy bad. It didn’t really make my hair grow any quicker but it did make my skin 10x worse than it was. I stopped taking it and my skin cleared up a lot, I still have moderate acne but it’s better than it was :) Just letting people know because I didn’t know biotin can affect your skin in a bad way ❤️

Wendy Fiolek: It is really hard growing out a pixie cut. I grew it for a year and it got to my shoulder. 11 months in I cut off three inches and then I went back to a pixie cut. I got so tired of taking care of it. It’s so thick so it took forever to dry and then I had to straighten it because it would flip up. I love how light it is. I can let it air dry and it dries so quickly. Growing out a pixie really does test your patience. I did biotin and my hair grew pretty quickly. I get so many compliments and people tell me I look better with short hair. I’m sure I’ll try again one day but for now I like it short.

Rachel Eh?: Here's how I'm growing out mine: All you need to do is keep trimming the bottom straight as it grows, so it doesn't look like a mullet. And keep doing that until the top parts are almost the same length as the bottom. And then you've got a short Bob and you can grow it evenly from there. To trim my hair, I put a mirror in front and behind me on an angle, so in the front one, I can see the back mirror showing the back of my hair.

Betania Arellano Cano: I'm growing my pixie too, so glad to find people that are suffering the same pain as me

Cath Nailtheday: I made a Pinterest board of pixie grow out styles for inspo then I kept updating the boards whilst my hair grew. It really helped and now I have a long bob 18 months later

Alyssa Chantay Champagne: A tip for people who have a kinda long pixie and are starting to have a mullet but can't get it cut: Pull your hair into a half-up ponytail. Usually, you'll end up with bangs and what looks like a bob. I've been doing this every day for a while and I'm starting to dig it.

Courtney Bussing: Girl try switching to liquid biotin instead of gummies or tablets. It works soo much better I actually saw major results with it compared to the other forms of it! Also the liquid does not brake me out or my sister who also loves it! You can get it on amazon! Or look it up on YouTube there are tons of positive feedback toward the liquid version! ❤️I’m growing out a shaved head it will be a year of growth in September! Some other things that really helped the process is cutting the mullet personally getting the back trimmed but leaving the sides alone made it much more bareable! Try not to wash too often or use too much heat! I also haven’t died or bleached my hair in anyway!

jbel7510: Growing out my pixie 5 months on my sides grew out surprisingly fast this time around (I've had a pixie before and it took ages last time idk) sooo I only got an undercut just above the nape. I just shaved it again 2 days ago and the undercut is shrinking because the top of my hair is beginning to look like a bob. Give it a year, Rylee! It might be the worst hair year lol but getting through it is worth it I guess

Lisa Bullock: Hey dear I grew mine out a year and a half, almost a bob. Back to pixie for Summer. Take care...xoxo

CitrusBunni: I had a pixie cut but then grew it out, took me a year and a little more to get it long enough to do ponytails and buns. Then after 2 years of debating, I chopped my hair off again and eventually learned how to style my hair. Recently, I've been wanting to grow it out for alittle bit mostly due to winter. My growing out process wasn't too bad, sure I had days where it was just like ughhhh but experimenting and looking into tips for managing helped. I would do twists for my sides(used to be my go to look) then after 1 and half to 2 months, space buns. Keep in mind, I never straighten or blow dried my hair during this time or at all.. However, I've been straightening my bangs (also sides now). I've realized that I need to lay off if that and so I'm looking into wavy hair routines and see if that helps me during this journey. Right now I can only bobbypin my left side

LookUpPls: When growing out my cut, i had it trimmed at the back more than the front so when it grows it turns into an aline bob. But if ever the front is shorter i usually style the front upwards (like a pompadour) and pin the sides. Hope this helps ❤

lesbianfutaba: I'm currently growing out my hair (almost 3 months in) and I started using Mane and Tail. It is working so far. My mom was a hairstylist for years and she was the one that recommended it. I'm pretty sure she has had customers who used it and saw a massive influence from the shampoo.

S R: Also, growing mine out too at the moment (for the second time). It is finally at that stage where I can put my whole hair into a ponytail (chin-length) and I really want it long this time.

Being Better: This video is great thanks! I just got a pixie in November. I trimmed it myself today because I didn't want to pay $30 for my stylist to trim it. It turned out ok, not hideous but still choppy and uneven. I can't wait till it's long enough to get my stylist to trim again.

Morgan Friedrichs: i’m on month two and i want to give up but i won’t because i’m really set on having long hair but damn i look bad right now

nicolenzo: Lmaooo I was doing the 360 undercut method planning on growing out the top of my pixie but then I couldnt even stand the awkward length of the top so I just shaved my head but I also really wanted to shave my head ever since I saw your vids so I have to thank you for that. #inspo

Linda Russ: It’s not a pixie, it’s just THERE! I so feel that right now. I’m still avoiding style shops, because of the virus, but mostly in the worry that they may overcut and I just want enough cutting so it has some kind of style!! I’m trying to hold out from going back to super short. Good luck to all of us.

Ba S: hmm, i have short hair myself, but i cant help but wonder why are we expected to grow out our hair at some point while men don't? and why are we /still/ succumbing to that? I'm not criticizing Rylee, I'm just thinking out loud.

Nikoleta: I grew mine out for ten months before I got a pixie again and my tip is to put the top in tow little pigtails and it will look cute(also bobby pins will save your life)

a.d.r marie: Wow, you’re so beautiful! Absolutely love your earrings and the eyeshadow look!

Wendy Fiolek: I have a tip. It takes more time to grow it long but it worked for me. Layers are really annoying. I grow my pixie until it is one length as a pixie. I just kept cutting over the ears until my tops reached just above my ear and then I grew it out. As the sides get longer cut them straight across so they are even. I grow everything and just cut the bottom in the back when it starts to look like a mullet. It’s much easier growing a pixie out if you don’t have a lot of layers.

Thea Stott: Tysm for the discount! I just ordered the Fallen Angel wig and I cant wait to try it!! Is it easy to wear with a short bob do you think? ':D Im a newbie.

Graham Graham: I got a pixie a couple of months ago after a hairdresser messed up a choppy bob and I’m DYING I miss my long hair so much lol. I went w an undercut and now my hair is sticking straight out

Ally Roe: Currently growing out my pixie. It does NOT have to suck if you can accept that you have to continue to cut your hair until your top layer reaches the nape of your neck. If you can accept that you're going to have to continue to cut length off the bottom, your pixie will continue to look good throughout the whole process.

Harry Ellis: I'm finally dedicated to growing my hair out since I damaged it so badly that it was breaking off and falling out so I did a big chop (I say big chop, I only had about 6 cm on top with and an undercut lmao) and now it's back to its natural colour and I only trim the back and over my ears

Beatrice Bozza: I've grown my full shaved head and now I actually have a long bob with an undercut. I'm growing the undercut now so I can hide it. I too suggest to have an undercut, just don't do it very high in the back...mine it's actually too high so I have basically a straight line across my head ahahah. If you choose the undercut go for a v-shape one

S R: I wash my hair every day (but with a very mild shampoo) and it grows like crazy, so yeah.

Miss Dappertje: I ve got the same thick as you do same challenge !!! Lol good luck. Love the undercut option ;-)

Harry Ellis: I've been tryna grow out my hair for about 3 years but as soon as my hair reaches eyebrows I shave it off again. I reallllllyyy want long hair, I'm 17 and I've had a pixie cut/ buzzcut since I was 12 and before that I'd had a short, jaw length bob since I was 10. Before that my hair used to be so long that I could sit on it and I want to try and get it long again, so I can do typical teenager shit with my hair like dip dying and cute braids and shit

StarlingofAzerath: I have tried and failed to grow my hair for almost 5 years. Kind of sad. But im more determined this time around. Mostly cause im curious how i will look since it been so long. And i know how to take care of my hair and style it.

Cookie Wilson: Omg thank you so much. Growing out my hair is so far a disaster so thanks

miranda: im getting a pixie cut soon because my hair is very damaged due to the fact that i stopped taking care of it/brushing it regularly and im kinda excited but not at the same time because school starts in a month and im scared of everyones reaction

Sabrina Coelho: It’s the 3rd time I’m growing a pixie cut ... I got this

Kat James: But eventually you'll have to grow out the undercut and it will still be difficult.

Erica Goehring: What is the brand of vitamins? There are so many on the market!

Lilly Zahn: When I got a pixie I intentionally got and undercut in case I hated it. And I did! It's only been 3 months and it looks like a little bob. I do need a trim to make it look like an intentional haircut

Catalina Brem: I have that same problem with my nails, i try to grow them and they break. I feel like i need to eat waaay better lol

Rachel Carter: I decided im growing mine out .. its looking like a bit of a mullet right now n horrible but if i cut it ill regret it

Aimless Alix: Lol thank goodness mullets were a style for a minute while growing out my hair

Paula Pusbarniece: Im 7 months in and last days im temptated to get a pixie again cos its summer and my mullet kind of hair isnt looking cute. Even if i cut the mullet it still looks like one cos its so thick that it puffs and scrolls up whilst my sides ar almost at my jawline and layered thinner towards the ends soo yh idk what to do :( it looks like i have a bob when i praid the sides but its hard to hold tiny braids with that thick hair

Alpha Aussies: We’re Twinsies! Same problem with my hair right now

Ami: I think of going to the military for a year and cutting my hair. Now watching this so I know what to do after i get back.

Sabrina Coelho: Where are those earrings from ? They are so cute

Karlina Jewell: I know this has nothing to do with your hair, but that corner dedicated to music looks so dope. I too look like a drowned rat lol

Babi: OMG so relatable

Donna: At least you have thick hair. You'll get there.

jenny ☻: aaahhh so pretty <3

Rosario Mosqueira: You have a beautiful voice, I really like listening to your videos.... Greetings!

Natalie K: Haha, sorry, my hairline is garbage in the back (literally non existent) so I cannot get an undercut. I am eternally screwed.

Dev: same. i got 8 months in and cut it :(

DICTAT0R_MICK3Y ミ★: I love your videos your so beautiful AAHHH

Lisa Bullock: You look Gorgeous anyway❌⭕❌⭕

beachbumツ: wow you’re really pretty

gorsian1979: hi how old are you ?

gorsian1979: hi how old are you ?

Leighann McGowan: I just wear a wig

Kate R: Ur so cute

Peanuutt Buttteeerr: i feel u

tarry twocents: You say mullet like its a bad thing. For me it was either Donald Trump Hair or a mullet

Ruby Rose: I can see his Addams-Apple.

Mrs. Lisa Williams: Your voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

zerpente: Your chin is very shiny
