How To Style Your Pixie Cut At Home

Hey guys welcome back to my channel so um today, i'm gon na do a little refresh of my pixie cut and today's video is sponsored by orris, so i'll, be using all of their products. Well, yeah. I'Ve been relaxed for almost six weeks or more yeah, six weeks or more so i'm gon na be using their olive oil. Mild touch relaxer. I think the last time i used oris relaxer was like probably a couple years ago when i used to use the one. The one that comes in the top that you can reuse over and over again um yeah i've never used this one, the mild touch relaxer. I think this is a new type of relaxer. They have because you know normally, it has like normal, medium and extra strength or whatever, like that. So today, i'm just gon na use this one. So inside the box comes the relaxer itself and this is a mild touch cream based um relaxer, and it has what is this. This is the this is the activator. There are instructions, the neutralizing, shampoo, leave-in, conditioner, blemish conditioner and their oil moisturizing lotion gloves and a applicator stick, i'm just going to put half in the container, i'm just like half of the activator and it says, mix for at least a minute or more. So i'm going to mix this up thoroughly, okay, so i'm gon na put on my gloves what the mixture looks like. Oh you make me wan na talk back, i'm gon na. Let this sit for a little bit longer, probably like three minutes or so then i'm gon na shampoo, my hair um, i'm not gon na, show you that part, because i'm gon na do a wash day routine sometime soon, and so i'll show you that when i Do that video? Okay, so i just rinsed up my hair and i well shampoo, my hair and stuff. I haven't conditioned my hair or anything. I'M gon na use their deep um treatment conditioner. So i shampoo my hair five times with the neutralizing shampoo and what that does is remove all the relaxer from your hair. You do not shampoo the relaxer out to your hair properly. That will cause breakage. So, in order for me to ensure that the relaxer was shampoo properly, i always go in five times and shampoo, my hair, then i went in with their sulfate free shampoo. I really like this. I think this is the first time i'm trying this shampoo and i really like it. I really really like the smell, and this is a um super hydrating sulfate free shampoo. Yes, this is really super hydrating, because even after washing my hair with just a shampoo alone - and you know - you always feel like your hair - is dry after just shampoo. That'S why you're going with a conditioner potential that is kind of moisturized. My hair feels so soft. Even when i was shampooing, i was like my hair feels really really soft. It'S not drying, or anything like that. So i guess the super hydrating that it claims is really true um. This is infused with rice, water and electrolytes, or supercharged hydration and growth um. This is for natural and relaxed hair, so um it says it. Gentle removes build up. Maximize, moisture retention, protects that promote haircut, i'm going to go in with their deep treatment conditioner. This is infused with rice, water and the same thing that this um claims. It'S the same thing that disclaims as well super for supercharged, hydration and growth. This is a treatment conditioner um. I haven't used this yet so we're gon na put this in my hair and it says, apply in sections and comb through or even distribution leave. For five minutes rinse thoroughly or for deep penetration treatment which i'm gon na do cover here with plastic cap and apply moderately heat for up to 30 minutes. I'M just going to do mine for like 20 minutes and then rinse it out. But as far as that goes, let me talk about the relaxer before i move forward or while i'm putting this in my hair, i'm going to detangle my hair a little bit um as far as the relaxer goes that i just use. I don't think, and i'm sorry to say this - i don't think this relaxer is for me because i, like my relaxer to be super straight um. My hair is not super straight, but i can see this being beneficial for somebody with like 3a type, air or 3b. Don'T stop here because if you just want a little bit of control over here or somebody who has fine texture, but they want to relax the hair, not text locks their hair, but still leave a little bit of texture in their hair. Then that relaxer will be fine with them because having a pixie cut, if you do wear your hair straight, you want your hair to be more laid, and for my texture i think i'm like a poor piece for c air texture. For my texture. I need something a bit a little bit more strong. Nothing is wrong with the relax i'm saying it's just for my texture. I need something a little bit more strong, so i probably should have gotten the normal relaxer instead of the mild relaxer, because it didn't really lay my hair straight as how i liked it. It did do a little something something but not like how i like, but yeah um. I'M not super mad at it, because this time for my relaxer, i'm not going to use no heat in my hair, because i need to take a break from the heat. The flat iron, let's get into the deep conditioner. Let me smell it. I like how this smells it's not too perfumey. It smells it just smells fresh, but with a little bit of rose floral scent, i think, but it's not intense. I love how they smell. Oh yes, i can feel it. This feels so nice. So now i'm gon na comb through first impression. I like how it feels on my hair. It feels really good if you feel something even a little better than some of my high hair products, so yeah. Okay guys so i finished shaping my hair and everything. So now i'm going to go into the styling portion, i'm going to go in with a leave-in conditioner, and this is their super silky leave-in conditioner infused with the rice, water, electrolytes same thing um, and this says it's restoring seals in moisture. Without wait, wait, don't weigh down, deliver a super slip; detangle smooth and soften primed hair for styling and reduce drying time, enhance moisture retention, protect against breakage and promote healthy hair growth. So i'm just gon na put a small amount in the palm of my hands like this much then i'm gon na go in with a heat protector. I'M going to spray that all over my hair, you guys know. I love my heat protector because we're going to go under the dryer, then i'm going to use the um urs old and shine wrap set mousse um. This is infused with coconut oil, so i'm gon na shake it up, and i'm gon na distribute a lot of product in my hair make sure it goes from root to end and i'm going to do a specific video on how i move my hair, the, but I thank you so i'm going to sit under the dryer for like 30 minutes and then i'll come back. Okay guys. So my hair is finished. I did my makeup off camera, so i know i'm gon na um my eyes on this um. So now i'm gon na just finish styling, my hair. I don't know if i'm gon na put flat iron in my hair, as i said previously, that i'm not sure, but i'm gon na take pictures today for my instagram and stuff. So i probably i'm not sure, but i am going to try their this is their sealant, wrap serum and i have their daily restoration and with black seed oil. I'M going to use this one. This um sealant wrap serum um, it's infused with black seed oil. It seals ends lock in moisture, flemish hair, protect, um layer, protects and promote healthy hair growth. By the way. Let'S talk about this, this is so good. I would say get this from target than done its first store because i feel like sometimes if it is not the right thing, i'm just saying um, i got this from target. Let me tell you this is so good. This mores my hair, like look at this. This smalls my hair, better than nairobi. I think nairobi ever since nairobi got um popular it's just not it like. I feel like they're, probably using water. Are they something not right about naropa? No more. Even my friend was saying the same thing. My last video, i think i'll use - i don't remember the name of it, but if you watch my previous video on my pixie cut, you know what i'm talking about, and that was good, but this this. I think this is my new thing, because i like to wear my hair flat like this. Sometimes i don't like to um put no curls or anything in my hair, and i like when my hair stays in place and when i tell you this molds, my hair, like it's not going nowhere like i like, but my hair is kind of crunchy. I don't know about you guys when i mold it. So if i want to kind of let it loosen up, then i'll, just comb it off and put some oil in it and then it kind of loosens up. But if i don't want that, this is really totally like. Oh good, it was. I don't even remember it being that good, but i really like two pumps, this much it's gon na hmm. I like how this feel smells good, worse, literally, step up their stuff. I don't remember them their stuff feels smelling and being this good and it has that gold reflex in it. So this is going to really really make my hair pop because of the gold reflex and i'm taking pictures. So i need my hair to look at that. Shine that is my hair. What kind of brush my hair out a little bit just a little bit? Oh yes! So i'm saying when i brush my hair, it kind of take out that stiffness, but i still have the mold. I think i might put some curls some like flat iron in the front, just because i said i'm gon na yeah. I want to loosen up this a little bit. I don't want it to just be so stiff yeah, a little curls to the front, just to kind of give it a little bit of height. Nothing special yeah, just like that. Maybe oh i'm gon na use a little bit of the therapy oil. This one is a little bit thicker, okay guys. So this is the finished look. I am loving it so much so i'm gon na turn around.
