How To Create Short Hairstyles - Pixie, Boyish, Playful Volume | Redken

Jorge Joao and Erin create 3 different short hairstyles. The first, a pixie hairstyle, is created by applying a small amount hair gel (use more if needed) throughout your hair and moving your hair forward and down. Be sure to create seperations within your hair. Once that is completed, use a shine spray to give your hair added shine. For a more boyish look, part your hair using a fine tooth comb to create a part in your hair. Use a high hold hairspray to make the look last all day. For more playful volume, use a lighter hold product, and massage into your roots up and forward to push up your hair. Ask your stylist to recommend the best looks for you depending on your hair type and face shape. Visit your local salon for $7.50 off select Redken products.

I love my new haircut short hair is something I always wanted, and I finally decided to take the leap now that I have short hair. I realize there are many ways I can wear it. I'M going to share my three favorite with you today, hi. My name is Jorge Joe, a professional hairstylist and Redken artist. Today, I shared with Aaron how to style her short hair by translating a runway trend into an everyday style. My first look is a pixie style, I'm starting with clean hair. You can blow-dry your hair any way you like. First, I need a product that has high shine and separation, but can 3 y no 6 has fibers that stay moist, so I'm able to readjust my hair throughout the day. It'S important to start with a small amount and then apply more as needed, I'm applying to the top and back of my head, I'm moving my hair forward and down like this around the hairline I'll use a little more product to create PC separations for as shine. I'M using an aerosol shine spray shine, flash out too. This is option one. Now, I'm going to turn my feminine pixie into a more boyish look. All I need is a comb with fine teeth, choose a side and make a part, starting from the highest point of your head, remember to use the fine teeth of your comb, so you create lines like this, then just comb into place to make this look. Last. All day I finished with control, attic 28a hi hold hairspray that's option. Two: let's create some playful volume for my final transformation. For this I need a pace with less flexibility than rewind o6. I'M choosing red kins rough pace, 12 pump a small amount and rub into your fingertips, then massage your fingers into roots while working your hair up and forward like this it's magic. I have four different products in my hair, but you can't tell Aaron wow. This is amazing: if you change up your product, you can give your short hair a new look every day and if you have any type of texture, you could rock short hair. Ask your stylist to recommend a look that'll suit you, depending on your face, shape or your hair type.
