Pixie Cut And Short Hair Color For Pixie Hairstyles For Women Over 50

Hi guys so i am here with carrie and we did the the color video. So that's gon na be fun to see when we dry but um. My favorite part is going to be the cut um the color. The cut will show off the color really well. So, okay, what we're gon na do down here! She likes wispy, so we're not gon na like do it blunt, so just kind of cut into the bottom. So you can leave a little bit of that length if you need to just hold it like this and just kind of trim into that. Just kind of cut different lengths through there just so it's uneven and not blunt okay, then for the top she likes it really short: pc, fun, um, so we're gon na take that much off it's gon na be fun to have it short again. Yes, you'll be like you know, i can do it essentially yeah exactly it's actually like poking out it's great okay, so point cut into that she's had some weight um this way around that area. So what we're going to do is we're going to bring that in a little bit just so it's a lot lot easier for her to do so. We don't want to have to mess with the back seriously. I swear. Every person with short hair is like just get rid of the back whatever you do get rid of the back okay. So then up here, i'm going to show you you can see that guide. Point here, point cut into that and it'll be fun with carrie. We'Re really gon na texture um her hair. It'S going to be awesome. Okay, again we're going to take. You can see that bolt through here, and i want to show you guys so i'm holding this out, you can see where i've cut and you see the length. That'S the length okay, so we obviously don't want to take the length so you're just going to connect those two areas. It'S gon na be so fun to have. Is it so it just, it fades out a little bit more red, your color. Does it? Yes, uh-huh yeah, that's so fun it's fun because then, by the the time you come back, it's like you've had two different colors, that's fun! Yes, yeah it'll be darling, darling. I'M excited good, good, good, so yeah, it's kind of fun, um. So her daughter april that my sister-in-law is related too. She like she has super long, thick, hair, huh yeah. She has, she said she sure does yeah it's kind of fun to see the difference. Yes, okay! So we're going to leave a little bit of length over her ear so right here, i'm going to bring take that length up to about the middle of her ear and then we'll connect this in a minute so on the sides just holding it out and just Making that different lengths and then once you dry, like i've, always told you guys, you can always go back, cut some more texturize, some more um, but leave the length until you know like if you need it short or whatever might as well just leave it there Until you dry it, you can't put it back. Okay. I wish i dared tell him your age because she looks 20 years younger than she is. It is crazy. I mean i never like. I never knew that and i've known her for a lot of years, but i didn't realize. Oh look at how nice? Oh it's serious, brenna, she's she's behind the camera and we both looked at each other like wait, what you're howled well, the thing is: well, i don't advertise it you're! Welcome to tell them that you don't have to be in your 50s or 40s to have a fun and crazy hairdo. If you don't want it right. Yeah, oh see, that's cute, and i appreciate that you're welcome all right, she's 77.. That is crazy, like she is amazing, so like she says, and and that's what i love like. She loves life, she's, fun, she's, funky and just like she says just because my age is up. There doesn't mean that i can have fun, hair and feel normal. You know feel this is normal for me right right. It'S a little craziness yeah, see, but that's what's fun, it's keeping you young, okay, i'm just gon na bring her down just a tiny bit. Okay and then the front. Oh, maybe i'll turn this way. So you guys can see we're just going to come through here chunk that out, but yeah. So i love it. I love that she's that age and she wants to have fun with her hair. You know it's cool, i love it all right now so for over the ear, i'm gon na hold it straight out, and i'm just gon na take a little bit of that length. Okay, a little bit here. Okay, so you can see, there's her ear and we're going just over that just a little bit okay and then we're just going to take the shears come kind of point cut into that and then obviously, when i come back here, we're we're going to really texture Around there, texture is huge, especially when you have a fun haircut like this. You really need to get some texture in there. Okay, so i'm already seeing the look. This is a little bit too long. No you're good! Are you itchy? Sorry? I don't have some hair. That'S fine, so i'm just going to take a tiny bit of that, so i could tell it's a little bit too long behind your ear. Okay, now this side same thing, i'm just going to come up just come up to these. You know this this length up. There, okay again we're going to come here, just make sure it's over the ear a little bit. Okay, now we're just going to piece these bangs out. You can see i'm kind of coming up and down just so there's spots, that's longer and shorter in there you don't want it to just be straight across okay, it's a little bit longer here, a little bit. Oh i'm getting so pumped it's getting closer! So cute! Okay, all right now, what i'm gon na do is take the the fine-tooth of texturizing. I'M gon na go more towards the scalp just a little bit, i'm not right on the scalp but just kind of down in, and then i just want this pc back here. So it's not so thick okay! Now after i do that, then i'm going to show you what i do with the other ones. That'Ll feel good to have that off of your back yeah. It already feels good having it off the neck. Up to that point, good good, good, good, yeah, it's crazy! How that feels the best and the weight of it. Yes for sure. Okay, then you guys can see. This is the chunky tooth. I like to come up kind of more in the top on this. That way, it'll be more peacey when we uh grab at it and when we dry out it it'll just be more piecey. Okay, all right! Now, i'm just going to clean up her neck, just a tiny bit, even though we have it um, just kind of wispy. Here at the bottom, i like to just kind of clean it up a tiny bit: okay, perfect all right now. What we'll do is the root lifter, because we obviously want it big and messy mousse, okay and then the volume and lift spray yep there. It is no yep, that's the volume of spray. I have two of them. That'S that did you guys see. I almost needed to grab glasses, that's sad, okay, so i have a double check. Okay, i just turned on the flat iron okay. So the back i'm just gon na dry down and that really makes the difference the way you dry, your hair. I have talked to some people that are, you know, say only just my hair won't do anything you know, so i always like to talk to them. Ask if they use you know if they get texture, what products they use, how they dry their hair. What hot tools they use um definitely makes a huge difference, and some of them are so cute. They'Re like, oh, i don't. I don't dry it or i don't put product in it. I'M like that's, probably why it's not doing exactly, which is cute. I love it, but you i just don't think people realize what it can do. You know, and so i really like to tell people you know giving advice on that just because some people don't realize what it can do. Okay, now we're going to go back and forward, make sure it's pretty much dry before you start the back and forth process. This will really really give it volume. Sorry, no you're, fine, that it's itchy right. It is okay, so i'm just gon na kind of grab this and before i style it, you guys i'm going to ask her if it's short enough, because i want to make sure it's short enough and textured enough for the way she likes it and it's gon Na feel real good because it was like what eight weeks yes yeah eight weeks so she's gon na be loving life, okay and then what i'm doing um i use a ghd flat iron. I love love, love them they're, a little bit more money, but it's so worth it especially like if you have thick hair or you need it to curl or you need it to like stand up good, you need a good flat iron. So if you have a flat iron and you feel like it's not standing up with, if you have texture and stuff, you might need a new flat iron um, because that's that's huge um. But if you have, you know thin hair, you wouldn't need one. Quite as nice, i guess you could that say: okay, so what i'm going to do? I'M just filling right here a little bit, i'm going to turn her around, which i wanted to turn around when i had it all fixed, but i well you know what i'm going to do is i'm going to have her feel? Can you feel go around and see if i, if you need it shorter? Okay, the only thing is this area because of my glasses yeah with my glasses go over. It ends up as it gets a little bit longer. Okay, it's almost like if it may be textured more right there, just because of the glasses it kinda ends up. Yes, so it doesn't feel like too too long. It just feels bulky. Well, it feels bulky and a little bit, maybe a little longer. Okay, so we're just going to take a little bit of length off of her sides and then i'll texture it just a little bit more was the top good. Oh, i didn't even feel that. Okay, no you're good you're good, that's fine! Maybe i should oh that feels great okay, i love okay, sweet okay, good deal, yeah. In fact, it's probably really good that you said that, because i'm sure there's a lot of. Ladies out there. That'S like! Oh, this drives me nuts with my glasses. You know what i mean so crazy, so yeah all of you out there maybe just go a little bit shorter and then texture around it. That might really help you, okay, just kind of checking from the back and making sure that's about even okay. Then i'm going to take the closed teeth and kind of go through there just to thin that out. So if you get bulkiness there and your glasses are feeling weird go ahead and go a tiny bit shorter and then texture that that will help that make or feel better a lot better. Okay, okay, now the oil just gon na take two there's three little drops there, i'm just gon na put it through her hair, give her that smooth, look the shine, okay and then the clay. Now this is my best friend. No, this makes a haircut. So if you want pc fun, spiky messy hair, you definitely need a clay or a paste. Um. I told you on the last couple: videos i'm really sad because they're discontinuing the clay which freaks me out um, i did buy another one um, which is the only product that i even have from another company, but it's because i have to so anyway. I have one and i will let you guys know about it as soon as i try it out um i haven't tried it out yet because i'm still my last thing of clay all right. Sorry, i'm just going to come here from the front piece. This sorry. She really likes it pissy. Yes, i do so it's just gon na take one extra minute just to to do that. Her bangs are a little too thick. What i call the forest area. Oh there you go. That is seriously darling, that's cute, but it's true. It'S like when it gets too yep. It gets way heavy yep, yep and especially with a cut like this. You do not want a thick forest in the front of your head, itchy itchy. Sorry. I just feel like these need to be more textured. That'S good! For me, thank you, texture works. You bet just really trying to chunk that out. You guys because she likes it really piecy. So i don't want her to go back with without pc okay, so i'm gon na backcomb just a little bit okay and then take my fingernails and just grab it this yay, it's getting closer, so you can see you can just kind of put it into place And that's fun with more of the purple red around your face right here. Yes, you know, then i blended it in here. Of course, we still wanted it to be blonde and chunky, so there's so i did that too, but we just put a little bit of everything in it all right. My dear okay, i'm going to turn her around big reveal. Yes, okay, hopefully i passed the test. No i'm just kidding. Oh i love it. Is that spikey enough, because i know yes and now i can sleep better, even yeah, that's great! I love it sweet awesome and you can put your glasses on if you want well you're fine with that.
