Hey everybody its dizzy and if you want to see how to get this super cute, very retro, look on a very short pixie cut. Then just keep watching everybody. Okay, so, as you can see, I've done nothing to my hair or my face. I woke up like this literally, so it is a pixie and it's pretty long through the top, but it's pretty short through the back and the sides, but this is that should be enough. Hair. I'M hoping is an experiment that I can do a pin-up look. So I'm gon na do a very deep side, part okay and then I'm gon na spray. My hairs a little bit. It'S just water with a little bit of spray gel in it. They kind of mixed, because I wanted suck this side kind of behind my ear. So I want to get that nice and smooth okay, because I want to do something. Sort of asymmetrical is the plan for this style? That is the watchword of this asymmetry. Okay, then, I'm gon na just kind of spritz the rest of my hair, and this is second day hair. So there we go okay. So I'm going to start right here and actually there's are some parts of my hair that are too short to roll with each other. So I have a very layered like Pixy. If you find this too hard or your hair shorter or you just don't feel like doing rollers, you can use a curling iron and get this same look and it probably even be easier, but I avoid heat, especially on my bleached hair. So that's why I'm suffering through this so because this is going to be kind of slow, is my hair shorter, I'm gon na do the whole top and just roll it all under going this way and come back you, okay! So when you get to the point where your hair is getting hard to curl with the rollers, wherever that point, it is depending on how long your hair is and I go ahead and wet down the rest and then, through this side, I'm going to do some Pin curling and it's just for direction, so I'm just then curling flat, pan curls down and going towards the face now we're doing that in the back. Everything is going towards this side like this way you that I noticed the last time I grew my hair out. I didn't film at all really anything about my hair, except the pixie crowd updates at the beginning. So I thought I would be more adventurous with the Styles this time and I would show you guys some of them. So, let's see this is about as far down as I can do things with this hair, so I'm gon na let this dry and then I'll show you guys what it looks like when it's brushed out. Hey everybody, okay, so I am back with my full face of makeup and I'm going to take these out, I'm starting with the Pens curls first in the back okay, so the set is quite curly, which is fine, that's exactly what we wanted. So I'm good with that, so I'm going to take my diamond styling brush. Then yeah we've got a lot of curl. Some of the pink curls in the back, I think, are a little wonky, but it's hard to pin curl when your hair is not short and our brush backside is saying like I want to I'm going to take my vent brush. You, okay, I'm gon na look at the back because I think some of those pin curls got really funky. Okay. Now, I'm just gon na take a little bit of pomade. This is the beyond the zone. Retro vinyl someone! I always use, that's what it looks like. I'M just gon na kind of just smoosh that in to those curls smooth any frizz, I might be getting okay, so once you've arranged it kind of the way you want. I'M just going to take a couple. Little flower clips. I'Ve got these little orchid clips and this is why I made the sides so flat, because I'm just gon na hide the side, just those clips and then expand it like the really low one and there we go. That is our finished. Look. So pretty quick and easy, and I think it's a cute style for a vintage look for a very, very short hair. So this is the front side right so that I read it. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this. If you try this style and you have a pixie and you want to do something vintage to it, you know, let me know, I've got Twitter, I've got everything listed down below and maybe tweet me a picture of it because I'd love to see it. Thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see you next time. Bye!

Mel S: I really really love this! I let my hair grow out (was bald), and I guess, in a few weeks I will definitely try and rock this! Thanks for sharing! <3

Girl Trucker: I love this tutorial. My hair is about your same length. Thank you! Your hair looks great! Like the makeup too!

tiffanyctcd: Love how you styled your hair. It looks fabulous!

Jan mckinnon: Love your styling! Thank you! You look amazing!

Dizzyknitsandcurls: Mel that is awesome! and wow you are courageous! bald is such a confident look, I think it's beautiful, I've come close, 1/4 with clippers, but never went all the way, I have kind of a wonky head :)

Danyele !: That's adorable - I love it!  Where did you find the foam rollers with the elastic bands on them?  I only have the ones with the plastic clips that really dent my baby-fine hair and hurt like heck to sleep in.  I also have pillow rollers, but those don't give the same shape as foam.  Are they from Sally's Beauty?

Linda Beebe: This short hair and color are just so pretty on you❣️

Dizzyknitsandcurls: Yep mine are from sallys but they have the plastic cage too, I can't sleep on those either, you could try taking off the plastic cage and putting strips of fabric through the roller creating rag roller hybrids

Mickie Anderson: Very very very helpful! And super cute!

Natali Villezcas-Aguirre: been looking for a video like this. I just bought foam rollers yesterday ready to try. just one question how long do I keep them on for and does my hair need to be wet?

K3LBeLL86: What size are your curlers?

Waiting2soar13: U look so pretty

Eve Fields: Are u a cosmetologist? If not youshould be u are soooo good at this!! Im in cos school currentlr

Dizzyknitsandcurls: thanks tiffanyctcd, and Waiting2soar13
