Hi i'm rodona from boys and girls hairstyles today i have debbie with me: you're, probably wondering what this hairdo is. Now i'm going to explain it um. She is married to my mom's cousin, so we're cousins down a little bit and she is amazing. They are super, sweet and fun fun to have around um. What i've done is we like to cover her gray um with a 20 volume and 4n, so it's a double n. We like to do that and on the whole, in fact, i'm going to turn her around. So you can see i've just colored. All of that - and i just take it in little sections um to color it, and then i just pull it back here and i just taken a mohawk section down the middle. You can see - and i always like to put a foil there and a foil just on the side here: okay, perfect and then i want to show you guys what we do on the top. So if you guys have any natural highlighting gray in the top um, it's really good to keep some light through it, and i'm going to show you how i do debbie's uh to blend hers. Okay, when you do a weave, you want to do the sections um little. You don't want them thick, so you can see that that's just it's very thin there and i'm going to take little pieces and i'm going to hold this up. And then i take the dark, which is the 40 volume, and i come up through here and make sure that that's covered. And then i grab a foil and i put my foil over my comb and then i hold the hair down with these fingers tight and then this is um bleach to just pull her her dark through here, and you don't want to pull the blonde through any Blonde okay, so if there's blonde don't go out on the blonde, only do the root area. Okay! So then i do another little section: okay and you can see where i've done the blonde. I just go back through and i grab the little pieces. Okay, then i hold this up and then the hair below again, i just come here, color it with the dark. It looks light um and that's what's kind of fun. People will say well wait. How is that dark like it looks, really light, but that's the color. It is until it processes, so just so, you know if it doesn't go dark when you mix it it's okay, it will turn that way. So again, i just flip that over and then you can see where that regrowth is so. I just come and i color that regrowth right there, okay and i just push the hair to the side and i just fold the sides over okay. Again, i take a little section and you can see where i do the light. So i just take that out. Weave that out, i guess i should say: okay hold this up and put the dark here. That way, you cover all the gray um in between so some people when they color they like to leave some natural gray out. But if you want to color all the gray and just have the blonde highlighting so that blends when it starts growing out, this is what you would do. You would do the full in between and you color the dark, okay, okay and make sure you don't get the blonde too close to um the root, because when uh it heats up, it expands a little bit. So it can go out of the foil a little bit if it's too, if you have too much bleach there, so just a little info. That way, just make sure that's good and saturated um same with the bottom after i, you know, put all the color on the bottom and the sides i just kind of comb through it, and then i did that little ball in the back of you know with Her hair anyway, i like to comb through it just so i know that it's you know even that's, because, sometimes and and maybe out there you're like yeah, i didn't get the you know, it doesn't look even and maybe that's because you would put the color on, But maybe didn't um, you know evenly distribute it. So that's a little key. You could do that. Might help it's a little bit thick and you'll be able to tell that if it is, you can just take some hair out and i would call this more of. Like a medium weave um, so it's not really fine fine and it's not thick it's just kind of in between, and it has a really really pretty look when you're done and and you'll see that when we do the haircut video okay again, i just flip that Over the comb hold the hair up and then bring it down, and i hold the foil in place because some people are like how do i hold the foil, but you just hold it with those few fingers while you're holding it. Then you can let go and hold up here because the color is holding that hair to the foil. Okay, and i will go over that one more time right here. So you can see what i meant. Okay, so take a little section here. Just get those little pieces and if you already don't have pieces, that's fine just take the pieces, you would like okay and then the dark just come in here: okay, let's foil again, i stick it here and i bring the hair down. Then i take the comb out. You can see me i'm holding the foil, the hair down with the foil. Okay, once you go to put the color here on the root area, that color is gon na help the hair stick see. I can take my hands off it and it stays um so and then usually i put my hands here while i color it and then you can take the foil and just hold it here and then take the sides and fold them over okay, i will do One more and then i will finish, and you guys don't have to keep watching me, but i just do this all the way to the front um and then we will show her haircut on the next video and you'll be able to see her color. It'S super cute, okay, so the dark in between - and i always like, um to double check. Like my corners. That means like right here just make sure you get that really good. So it covers all the gray and in between all those little hairs, okay and then a foil, wrap it over hold tight and then do okay, sweet all right!
