Hey friends, so I'm getting my hair cut in about a week, so I wanted to show you how I style my hair when it's a bit longer - and I have this swoopy side bang going on as you can see the back of the little grown out. So I'll show you how I deal with that. I also didn't realize until I was editing, but this only took me five minutes, so I'm coming through my damp hair and then I'm using this figure roots mousse from the brand Garak. I'M probably pronouncing that wrong. But I just spent a small amount into my hands and work it into the roots of my hair. This will give me more volume, texture and a bit of grit, which will help my volume last longer throughout the day. All of the products I used today are more natural products and, of course, they're all cruelty free. So I'm at my parents house right now as I'm filming this and I'm borrowing my mom's hair dryer, which I absolutely love mine - that I've had forever and died. A couple days ago, so I will be purchasing this one from Amazon, it's $ 60 and it's ceramic. So that means it distributes the heat more evenly and has cut down my drying time significantly. Also, my hair just looks smoother and more shiny and I absolutely love it, so I will be sure to link it down below also, as always, all of the products and tools I used will be linked down below, and I also linked the filming equipment I use In case you're interested, so I'm just doing a rough blow-dried before I round brush. I kind of just toss on my hair run my fingers through it to get it almost dry and then we're going to round brush it to finish off the dry. And so I'm gon na start with the top sections of my hair working from back to front and I'm blow-drying directly back away from my face so I'll. Let you watch this portion and, if you're new here, thank you for stopping by my name is ava and if you like, pixie videos and all other cruelty, free beauty and lifestyle videos please consider subscribing down below. Also if you are returning. Thank you again for watching my videos and be sure to click the notification bell. If you want to be notified every single time, I upload so the cool thing about pet Eve or going back to the products all the ones I use today are travel sized and penny more has tons of travel size products which is not only great for travel, But also for testing products before you commit to them, which is awesome. So here I'm going to be doing the front section of my hair. So when I get to the front I'm actually going to be blow-drying down and towards my face, it's kind of easier just to watch it and explain it. But you can see here that I'm pulling my hair straight down with the round brush and it will curl under and towards my face this way. When I put the side bang to one side, it will have a bit more volume, so I'm also gon na just take the hair dryer again and run my fingers through it. This just make sure that all the pieces are dry and get some more volume in there and again I like that messy tousled look not too perfect, so here I actually found a section that I wanted to redo, which is what I'm doing right here and I'm Just kind of playing around with it, and at this point you want your hair to be completely dry. If you have a little bit of moisture still in your hair, when we put the product in it's going to make your hair look more frizzy. So I have this weird bowl cut going on right now and now I'm going to part my hair, I have a pretty naturally deep part, but it kind of looks different every single day and that's one thing I wanted to mention when you have really short hair And your hair is growing and it looks pretty different every single week you just want to kind of play around with it, be flexible and just play around with it and have fun. I work in an office and I swear every single week. Someone is asking me if I cut my hair because I style it a little differently every single day, so it does look different once I have it parted and styled the way I like it. I go in with this styling cream from Josh rose. Brook again got it on petit Laura. It says it has a medium hold. I take a small amount and warm it up in my hands. You really want to warm up the product into your hands and your fingertips, and then I start from the back moving forward. This is something that I actually learned from Jonathan on the show queer. I love him if you like, that show leave a comment down below I've already watched all the episodes. So again I just play around with my hair, and this will give me a little bit of hold. I like to also kind of press down that side that doesn't have the side thing, because I really like that. Sleek look and I've also really been enjoying having a bit of hair over my ear. So again, I'm also going to put it but the nape of my neck, because those hairs are a little too long right now it can be a little unruly, so I'm just gon na wear my fingers through it and again just continue to play with it once I'M happy with this: I'm going to take the Josh Rose book Rose Brook, that's really hard to say, Josh, roseburg hairspray and I'm going to lightly mist my hair just a couple spritzes over it just to hold the style in place again. This is a really natural hairspray, which is pretty rare to find, and I really really like it, so I would recommend it so here's the final look a little 360 view. I hope you enjoyed this video if you did give it a thumbs up and I'll see you in my next video thanks, bye,

faeriesmak: Cute! I watched this even though I have waist length wavy hair!

ItsJordanaaa: I have wavy/curly hair and I really always liked having bobs. But I reallyyyy want a longish asymmetrical pixie. I’d be willing to style it just wonder if it’s a dumb idea with my type of hair.
