I Can'T Believe How Natural This Wig Looks! Short Natural Hair Tapered Cut | Hergivenhair Revie

Hey babies, it's joint Yvonne and welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new. Thank you so much for clicking on today's video. So stand back with another protective style video for you guys, and this time we are going to be reviewing this unit right here from her given hair. So her given Hera has sent me another wig to show you guys and I'm going to be styling this unit. In this video, as well as dyeing it, this hair color that I have right here, this color is the exact color of my natural hair, currently so I'll be giving you all the deets on that, as well as showing you how I got it to go from This to this, and, of course, quickly Before we jump into the video, please be sure to like this video and give it a big thumbs up, also subscribe to my channel and turn on the notification valve so that you're notified every single time. I upload a new video, so let's just go ahead and jump into the video. Alright, you guys. So this is the wig straight out of the box and it comes with a little information slip. This is a lace front wig. So this is the lace on the unit and of course, like I showed you, it comes with some extra clips in an elastic band, so the hair color of this wig is the natural color. So I'm going to dye it. This is the hair dye that I'm using it's by creme of nature, and it is vivid red. This is the same exact color of my natural hair. Currently, so I'm just going to go ahead and dye the wig, like you know you would your natural hair. It'S a very easy process. All of the instructions are in the box when you buy your box dye, so I'm not really gon na go very in-depth on that, but you mix the dye together and you just apply it to the hair. So that's what I'm doing and I let this color sit on the wig for about 30 minutes. It says to do it for about 20 minutes, but I just left it on for like an extra two minutes and now I'm going to rinse it out. So, as I'm rinsing it out, as you can see, all of the light, coloring and stuff is falling into the sink. So you want to rinse this out really really well until the water runs clear and that's how you pretty much know that you've gotten all of the dye out of the wig, definitely take your time with this be patient. This is a process if you are planning on dying your unit, so the shampoo that I'm using is by Eden Body Works. This is a natural shampoo, it's their peppermint shampoo and I love it so much it's like it's just great and I use it on my color treated hair. So I'm using it on this wig and after I you know, get it all nice and clean and rinse the shampoo out, I'm going to condition it and to condition the hair I'm going to be using a my favorite conditioner by Pantene. This is their moisture boost. Conditioner - and I like this because it keeps the hair - you know very moisturized - it's very like easy to detangle with it's important for you to condition your hair in general, but especially your wigs, your curly, wigs after you die them and wash them. So this is the inside of the wig like I said it's just a lace front, so it's not a full lace wig. It does have three Clips two on the side and one in the back, and so now I'm just going to apply it to my head and, as you can see, it was looking really rough at first like I was kind of skeptical in the beginning. To be honest with you, because I've never like seen myself trying a wig like this, like I'm, not typically one who goes for really really short wigs to begin with, but especially not like short curly wigs now. A few things to note about this hair is that this is the coyly texture, so it mimics 3c2 for a hair texture, I'm using the Pantene detangling milk and the Caracara moisturizing gel to style and moisturize this hair with. But yes, the hair texture on this unit is definitely currently like it's. I would say it's more so curly than kinky, if that makes any sense to you, so I am a natural true for C. So this was something that was a lot like looser, like this curl pattern is a lot looser than my natural hair curl pattern. So that's like one of the only things that I kind of wish was a bit different about the wig, but other than that. It'S pretty well structured. The shape of the hair is great, like I feel, like they cut and shaped this wig perfectly. The only thing, too, is that I feel like in the back of the wig, especially in the crown like in the top. There isn't enough hair for me, like I would have liked another two tracks, or so in the in the crown area like in the front. All of the hair is in the front it's so dense in the front and then towards the back and, like I said in the crown, it's not as dense, and you can kind of see that here so now, I'm just going to blow-dry. You can choose to diffuse this to dry it, but I didn't have time for that. I just went straight with the blow-dryer and just you know, went through and dried the curls until I could really manipulate them and you know just kind of play with the hair. So once I got the hair dry enough, I went ahead and just kind of did my makeup and just let the hair air dry all right. So now I'm going to go in with the scissors and just kind of start trimming the bang of this wig. It was a little bit too long for me in the front and I just trimmed a little bit of the sides. I couldn't trim as much as I wanted to because you would start being able to see the tracks and of course that's not what we want, but this is how the wig is turning out. So now I'm just gon na take my contour palette and I'm taking that middle shade to fill in this part. I did do a side part because that's typically how I wear - or that's typically how I would wear my tapered cuts before so that is what I was comfortable with, but this is how the hair turned out and I'm really really liking it alright guys. So now it is time for final thoughts, so, as you saw the process of me styling this wig and getting it to work for me was not a crazy process, but it definitely wasn't easy. It took me a lot of work, but the results in the end. I'M actually very happy with, I was extremely hesitant, like I said, to even try a unit like this just because it is not full lace, it is, you know, only like a frontal laced unit, but I really really really am surprised at how much I like it. Now, of course, I do wish that it was a full Lacey unit, because preferably I would like for this to be even shorter, like I would like for the hair to be like like completely as short as it could possibly be like this. I'M patting it down to make it look like that, but this is even like still too long for me and my preference I mean, but that's just that also. I would like more like parting space, because you know if I wanted to do like, for example, my original plan was to do a twist out on this unit, but I couldn't do a twist down on it, because I had to only work with this area for, Like parting space - and I couldn't do it twist out on the back - obviously because you know it, you would be able to see the tracks, so I yeah that wouldn't have worked. But overall, like my hair, you guys know if you've been following my channel at least since the end of last year. I always want to wear my hair like this. My hair was definitely not this long in the front, which is this is my favorite part about this unit? Is how long the front is but yeah? I always wore my hair in a side part and my hair to the side like this and in a wash and go for the most part, and occasionally I would do like a twist out or something so yeah. I really overall, like the jist of it, because it's very similar to what I actually would do to my hair. The only thing that I wish is that the texture of this unit was my actual hair texture, because this hair texture, like I said, mimics 3c2 for a hair, and I am definitely a true 4c hair type. So if this was just a little more kinky and like afro textured, then it would be perfect for me because it would just be like me having my taper cut without actually having my tapering cut. You know you mean, but I mean other than that, it's a cute unit. It'S not my like all-time favorite or a given here unit whatsoever, but it is definitely like at least top five like it's making it in the top five. For me, you guys know that I've tried plenty of units from her giving here before. So for me to say that says a lot actually, this is definitely you know, one that I really really enjoy and I'm so happy that I actually dyed it in my hair. Color, because the hair color that I have now I plan on having I don't plan on not having it for a very long time like this is my color. This is my favorite hair color and I'm dying all of my wigs, this hair color, because this is for sure the hair color that I'm gon na have for a while, like I'm just letting you guys know from now.
