Curly Work-Do | How I Would Look W/ A Pixie Cut | Miss Jessie'S Curly Meringue & Jelly Soft Cur

You hi loves, welcome back to my channel, so I know I've been in my a from like two weeks, but I needed a little break. I went on a vacation and now I'm in the process of moving. So here's just a quick little natural hair video. Until I can get everything settled - and I should be back to normal by next week - but yeah - let's go ahead and jump right into this. First, I'm starting off with a freshly washed hair, and then I'm just gon na go ahead and section out a middle chunk of hair. This part does not have to be neat because technically only one part is going to be showing. So as long as one of your parts is straight, then you should be fine, so I'm just gon na go ahead and section that off and then I'm just gon na take this miss jessie's, curly meringue, and I'm just going to rub this all through the back Of my hair and kind of use this as like my leave-in and then I'm just gon na go ahead and take my brush and begin smoothing this part of my hair back. So I've been wanting to cut my hair for like a year now, so this was kind of the inspiration for this look. I wanted to see or get an idea of what I would kind of look like with a pixie cut, and my sister told me to do this down like this, but I didn't really know what I was doing. So you guys are gon na see me like trying to figure it out like right now and I'm like oh, where am I supposed to put the ponytail at so yeah? I'M just gon na be figuring this out the whole time in this video, but I'm gon na go ahead right now and do this in a loose ponytail. While I do my edges and I'm gon na go ahead and take my lovely beast edge control. Of course, I'll leave a link for it down below you guys and I'm just gon na go ahead and spray, my toothbrush with water. First, I like to do water first and then go into the edge control just because it just helps it to slide and glide a little bit better, and then I'm just trying to figure out now how I want to do the baby hair. So I ended up doing just two scoops on each side and it kind of looks cute. It kind of looks like my hair was cut down real low, like kind of like a fade on this side, but yeah. I wouldn't go that low. When I cut my hair anyway, I just I'm still trying to figure it out guys, I'm just gon na go ahead and do the baby hair on both sides. I'M gon na try to get both sides in my head as identical as possible, but, like I don't know if it's because, like my hairline is shaped different on both sides, but it's like literally impossible for me to get my baby hairs identical on both sides. Like am I the only one that that happens to, let me know down below if you have like struggled to get your baby hairs to look the exact same on both sides? Okay, so I tried to get them as identical as possible and then I'm going to take more edge control and put it like, basically around the whole part of the ponytail. It'S gon na be slick and then I'm just going to pull that back until a ponytail and then we're going to work on at the top half or not half but the top section. So for the top section, I'm just gon na start off by rewetting it. I'M just gon na use this red air little bottle. That came with my blow dryer and I love this thing. So yeah I'm just gon na go ahead and wet the entire section because it dried and then I'm gon na go in with the Miss Jessie's, curly meringue and just put that all over. And then, while I'm sectioning it, I'm gon na go in with the miss jessie's jelly soft curls so to apply the jelly soft curls, I'm just going to work in sections and I'm just gon na go ahead and take a little bit of it. I'M running low. If you guys gon na, see me struggle to get it out of the container and then I'm just gon na go ahead and put it on to the section and then take my diamond brush and rake it through. I don't have a texturizer or a perm, or anything like that guys. This is my hair. This is just how it is everything weighs it down, including water, and my hair does not start to curl until it is basically completely dry, but you guys will see that in the process it's just literally looks like strings when it's wet and then it curls once It'S dry, so I'm just gon na go ahead and keep doing the sections into I get the jail all over into everything. Is nice and combed out with my diamond brush? So I usually like to let my hair air dry because I feel like I get the best definition when it's like that. But I was in a rush and I was already running late, like always um, so I'm just gon na go ahead and take my Conair infinity Pro beloved dryer with the diffuser attachment and I'm going to speed up the drying process. So I'm gon na do the front proud of my hair and then I'm also going to blow-dry my little pony tail in the back. Now that is pretty much almost dry is not 100 % dry, but it's dry enough. I'M just trying to figure out what to do with the back, because I didn't want the ponytail to hang. But then I didn't want to do a bun. So I kind of just like spreaded the hair out a bit and kind of put it up forward so that it will connect with the curls at the top and then just gon na. Take a few bobby pins and just like pin it around. But I'm leaving hair I'm not tucking the hair, I'm leaving hair on both sides of the bobby pin. If that makes sense, so the curls will curl around the bobby pin and you won't see it it'll. Just look like basically like a ball of curls behind my head, so yeah. I went ahead and did that and then kind of fluffed it out a bit and then I'm just going to take a few pieces from the top section and pin it back so that you can't see the division between the top and the ponytail kind of fluff. It out a bit and then this is the final look. You guys it actually came out really cute and I'm definitely still thinking about cutting my hair even more now umm, so yeah.
