Natural Curly Pixie Cut Wig Ft. Y Wigs | Wig Install

What is up you guys welcome to my channel, it's me elory and in today's video we're tapping into this eight inch. It is me laurie and i'm here with a video on a wig that i just bought from y. Wigs, why do i keep doing that um? This is the hair. This is what it came in. It came in like one of those um. You know you go on a college tour, one of those college tour bags yeah it came in this and and then a shoe box right. So i'm just showing you guys. The wig is already out. I already bleached it and plucked it and stuff like that. So the wig is already out, i'm just going to show you guys what's in the box, so it came with some uh a wig cap. I got plenty um, an elastic band when i tried it on earlier, not necessarily going to need it, but it depends. But um came with that. So i'm just reading all the dudes, i'm gon na read you all the details. So this is human hair. It'S a free part, 13 by four. I got a small lace because i have a little head. I don't know if i said this already, but it's a it's an eight inch, wig and yeah so and it comes with like the return polish and all that stuff. So let me stop wasting your time, let's just get into the wig so y'all. This is this. Is the hair? It'S looking really nice. You know it's shorter than the eight inches and i thought well. The front is definitely eight inches, but the back is like is like three but um. So this is the wig, so i'm just gon na customize it a little bit put some foundation on here and get started. So i just put a little bit of my foundation on the wig cap that they just gave us, because why not um and i'm just gon na put it on the lace, real, quick, okay, i just finished putting foundation on the lace it took forever. But let's just put this thing on real, quick and get started just hold up hold up because at first i'm telling y'all. When i first put this thing on, i didn't like it. Oh hold up hold up. This is different for me. Anybody who knows me knows i like long hair, so for me to go this short. I want to try something new something different. This hair is really cute. What what what wow? Okay! I'M sorry, i'm sorry y'all, probably like this girl's trick man. So now i'm using some 91 alcohol and a cotton pad to clean my hairline before installation. What do i do now? Um we're gon na cut the lace from around my ear first and i'm going to be very careful all right, so one side is done. Okay, we gon na get some oh ho active, because you know this is um. This is my friend so we're gon na use this today to do the job so right now, i'm just applying the glue in a line and i'm not doing the dots method, because the dots method can sometimes dry too fast and it leaves dry gaps on the Hairline so now i'm spreading the glue with the end of my eyebrow razor. Most people use, popsicle sticks, but honestly it doesn't really matter. You could even use the tail of a comb to do the job. Okay, guys, i'm back and honestly. I only did three layers. Normally i do four to five, but i change my hair. So often i don't know if i want this thing to stay on my head, that long so we're just gon na get into laying it. So, as you can see, i'm lining up the wig to the glue and just pressing it in once, i'm okay with where it's at i just comb it in with a rat tail comb just to make sure it's more secure and guys it's okay, if you didn't Put enough glue because you could, just always you know, go back and just add glue to those areas. So now i'm just gon na blow dry just to make sure that everything is dry and secure. Okay. So now let me get. I think these are eyebrow scissors, but they're great for cutting your lace. So i'm just gon na use this real, quick and cut as far down as possible, and i'm just gon na do that twice. One on each side try to get as far down as possible. Guys you do not want no straggly lace, you feel me, so just you know cut the jaw, don't be scared. So, after cutting the three sections, you want to go find yourself a razor to cut the excess lace, and what this does is that it gives your hairline a more natural jagged. Look just gon na go back in and just clean it. So, as i mentioned before, i'm now going back to touch up and glue the areas that didn't lay initially yeah i'ma just do the rest off camera, because this this is taking too long for real. So i'm just taking i'm gon na do the rest off camera from okay guys. So i just finished touching up the parts that did not glue down originally and now i'm just about to clean it yeah we just don't have to deal with it. So now you get your hair spray. Now it could be any hairspray. Really i don't like got to be blue spray. I used to use this. I ran it down and i did not buy a new one. I bought this off amazon. It was like ridiculous. It was 11 for this little thing. So now, i'm just spraying the hairspray along the hairline, and this step right here is so important to getting a natural and melted look. It also really helps with securing the lace, just grab an elastic band and so i'll be back in five minutes. Okay, guys it's been five minutes and i'm about to take this elastic band off. This joint is stopping all the circulation in my head. Oh my gosh. Okay, wow and yes, it looks like this and yes, we're cleaning the lace again and it's very important to do this after each step. Just to get that clean and neat. Look we're going to be taking out that just for the whole head, and i don't use that much. I don't like using that much now. This step is optional. You don't have to do edges if you don't want to and you can leave it as is. But since i want edges in this look, i'm going to use a rat tail comb to pull out the amount of hair that i need for them. And here i'm just hot combing, the edges so they're easy to work with. But please be very careful not to burn yourself, because i myself have done that a couple of times. So now i'm using my small scissors or my eyebrow razor to cut my edges and then i'll use a little bit of mousse and a spoolie to style them to my desired look. I would highly recommend you guys to start using your spoolies to do your edges, whether on your natural hair or on your wigs, because they really help with styling the edges very easily and allows for a lot more versatility with them. Okay, guys i fixed this part for the most i mean i've fixed this side for the most part. So let's move on to this side, because this side was giving me too much trouble. I wasn't liking that hmm after i'm done shaping my edges, i'm just going to blow dry them a little bit to make sure they're, secure, hey this hair clipper looks really cute. I don't know how i want this thing to look. I really know i'm probably just gon na do a little um. I might just take this a little bit. Okay, guys, this is the hair. This is the final look um. I just put some mousse on it, and i hot combed a little bit right here and right here to just get it to lay flat behind my ear and y'all. This hair is worth it like this wig was about. If i'm, i don't know if i'm correct, but it's around 90 dollars 90 some dollars. If i got it wrong, i'll make sure to put it in the description box, but it's an affordable wig. It looks really natural like this could look like somebody's real hair, not mine, because my hair is 4c as hell, but somebody you know it's just really nice, and this is it.
