Installing A Curly Pixie Cut Wig From Amazon | Beginner Friendly

Hi buddies. Welcome back to my channel. Is your favorite youtuber kirsten simone, but we're family. So call me key in today's video guys we are doing a pixie cut frontal wig install this hairstyle is inspired by diara. I know she did this a while ago and it was kind of a trend what's late to that, we're going to talk about it, we're doing a meal, and i just wanted to show you guys how i laid this curly unit. This curly unit is from amazon, very affordable, very beginner friendly. So if you are interested in me installing this curly pixi lace front from amazon make sure you keep on watching, okay guys. So this is what the wig looks like. I went ahead and bleached the knots and did a little bit of plucking. The frontal already came plugged, but i just plucked it literally just a little bit more to open up the um hairline. And then i took a knee stocking and i just literally cut it into a ski mask. And now i'm using the erica j homie down adhesive to actually hold the wig cap to my head, because i am going to be doing a ball cap method today. So i'm just taking the back of this um die brush and just literally laying this on my forehead, you guys definitely want to make sure the glue is in contact with your forehead, sometimes with the wig caps. They can be a little too thick and it won't actually seep through the cap to stick on your head and when you get to cutting the whole cap. Flip back so make sure that you're pressing that glue onto your skin so that the cap is being secured. On your head as you're gluing it, and then i'm just going to take this foundation cream from ruby kisses from the beauty spot store and i'm just going to go and color in my wig cap, this knee high stocking is in the color peach. If anybody um was wondering so i'm just letting the glue dry and i'm only putting the makeup behind the glue, because obviously the glue isn't dry just yet. So i'm just throwing that makeup on there and just blending the ball cap with um the glue and now for some extra security, i'm just going to be spraying, some spritz spray, um behind the glue and just letting that set in for some extra security. At this point, some people would probably use the got to be glued, but i don't know i love, i love spritz as a means of holding my lace down or holding the ball cap down, and then i'm just going to take my elastic band that i got From the beauty supply store - and i am going to just tie that around the glue part, so it can be secure because i've had times where the ball cap, literally just flipped back after i cut it. So i made sure she's secure and then i'm just gon na blow dry her until it's time to cut i'm with you all right, y'all. So now i'm finally cutting off my little ski mask or whatever. So i'm just cutting everything, i'm going to um start trimming. It at the edges here and then you just want to make sure you cut where you want your hairline to be or a little bit um back from where you want your hairline to be. You don't want your cap to be too forward, because, ultimately, you have to make your wig forward and it might not come out how you how you want so make sure you get to the edges as close as possible, as you need to in order to make Sure your wig lays cute. You know how you put your wig on. You can still see the wig cap, make sure you cut the midges, and so now i'm just putting the wig on my head and i it does have an adjustable band. So that's good, and now i'm just pulling the wig down and letting it form my face to see where it needs to be placed um and where i should start actually gluing and laying down product. And i do cut tabs in my frontal when i'm laying it so i'm just cutting on the temples of my hairline and where the lace is and then i'm going to go ahead and cut that excess lace. That is by my ear and a good trick to get those ear tabs precise instead of cutting up like i just did you're gon na see on the other side that i actually cut down. So i clicked i started from behind my ear here, where i just laid it, and then i found it and then i just went ahead and cut it down and that tool will also give you a nice precise cut on the um ear tabs. I know that is a difficult part for some beginners that your tabs, they are very difficult. So that's one or two ways: you can cut your ear tabs off and so now i'm just going to be taking the hold me down glue, erica j and i'm just going to be doing three layers on each section so that we can have a nice maximum Grip and i'm just taking that same die brush that i used before, and i am just laying that glue on my head and i do put the glue on the wig cap and a little bit in front of the hairline um. Just so. If you need to make some adjustments or anything like that, you're able to do so, so i like putting the glue just a little bit before on the wig cap. I definitely want to make sure it's on my skin as well, so it can stick because what? If my wig cap comes up, ultimately, the wig is going to come up with it. So i like to just put the glue a little bit in front of the wig cap. All my yeah tonight think we need to have a sonic right. How my that was is: oh, oh, oh, okay, oh and now i'm taking some of the eben wonderlace bond in the extreme hold extreme firm hold. Can the black can and i'm just going to be spraying that on my hairline, to provide some extra security when it comes to placing the lace and melting the lace on my forehead and then after i get done spraying the ebbing spray, i'm going to just make Sure everything is settled and in the place that i want it, i'm going to go ahead and put that headband or that elastic band. Back on my head girl, it was tight honey. It was tight, honey. You want to make sure it's tight. You want your lace, melted, okay and then now i'm just taking it off, and this is what we're looking like, and i just like to take my comb and all the hairs that were just standing up. I might want to use those for baby hair, so i just comb that glue out or comb out that spray. So we can have a nice um, a nice blend when i try to do the baby hairs, so i'm just going to go ahead and take this razor here and just razor off the lace. This is my favorite way of removing lace. It doesn't give you that you know line, you are just going to be cutting in jagged motions and it's going to give you the effects of a natural hair line. So that is why i like using the razor instead of scissors here, and so i'm just going to keep doing that until all of the lace is cut off and now i'm just carving out the baby hair portion of what i want to cover that excess lace. I did want baby hairs with this curly unit. I feel, like all curly units, look so pretty with dramatic baby hairs, so i've, of course wanted to put those baby hairs on this um. This install okay, y'all. I was super in the midst of getting everything done. Like y'all y'all, i was getting there. I sprayed some of this bold beauty, hair product lace, tint spray to kind of tint. My legs girl, don't you know my frontal pulled up and then all of my hair started shedding out. I don't know what's in here, but i'm throwing it away what the this could potentially up my whole. So what i'm doing now after that fiasco, i'm gon na be taking my hot comb and i am just going to be combing the hair back. You know to make it nice and neat, i'm going for a no part, like flip situation or styling, this hair up in like a cute bun or something like that. But i do want the hair to be pushed back and then, of course i am going to be taking some mousse, i'm going to be taking the lotta body mousse. I really love this mousse one because i feel like it locks in like after i put the mousse on my hair, the curls don't feel stiff, but they feel dry and they feel like they're, going to stay. Sometimes, when you have curly hair, you know you have to do your mousse and then maybe like spray, some spritz in your hand, or some got to be in your hand, for the curls to actually stick and stay with this mousse. I ain't got ta. Do no! No, i ain't gon na do none of it. So now i'm just going to be taking off the last man. Y'All pray work, because i went through a lot trying to put this wig on. This is no fault of the companies, but it took a lot for me to put it on and let's see here, let's see boom she's on she's, on she's, on she's on and now we're about to comb those baby hairs out and then we're going to actually Be styling the baby hairs. Of course, i'm going to take that same razor that i used to cut the lace to cut the baby hairs and yeah i'll just show you guys how i do that in the next clip. Stop making a big deal out of the little things i just want to say, and this is the boho lace jelly that i'm going to be using to actually get my baby hairs together. It'S gon na look crazy at first y'all, but i promise i know what i'm doing. I know what i'm doing so, i'm just gon na do my baby hairs for you guys it seems like i am on my own now. I am i'm all right y'all. So this is the final me putting it on. I had a rough ass time, not with the wig itself, but i don't know what was in that tint it had to be alcohol. It had to be alcohol because when i tell you mush lift it up with ease, i mean straight ease: it had to be something some type of alcohol or something in that. For that to happen, i was so pissed off, but nonetheless the hair is cute. I am going to go ahead and put on my makeup and i will be back to show you the final look all right guys. This is the finished hair. Look i look so cute. I feel like i look so timeless, but modern af like this is how i chose the style, the pixie wig, i'm about to go to brunch, so i just wanted to have you know like a cute little, a cute little style. I feel like it's really cute for me. That'S my friend she's about to come pick me up for brunch hold on. But yes, this is the hair. Look, i'm super super. It'S cute! It'S cute now this wig gave me a hell of a time. It'S not the wigs fault. I believe it was this lace tint, because when i sprayed that lace tint on y'all, like my hair legit, just lift it up, i had on erica j's hold me down glue and that lace tint spray, literally with ease lifted up my whole frontal. So i put it on i put on, i didn't feel like gluing it back down, so i put on some of the olive oil wig spray and tied it up and it did it's do. This is what everything is looking like hold on. Let me see what my hair looks like without the without the bun. Like i really do love this hair. Let me put my bun back in all right buddy. So this is the final look. I'M super super super glad how it came out because, like y'all i had struggled when i say struggled, i struggled trying to put this on, but it's no fault of the hairs.
