Hi everybody its dizzy, and today I've got a nother style from the pixie styling series. This time it's a sort of curly wavy faux hawk, and I did it by using very small velcro rollers. So if you would like to see how to get this look, then just keep watching ok. So this is how I set my hair for this style. The first thing I did was, I dampened my hair all over then. I made a part on either side where I wanted, like the faux hawk to be, and I slicked that down and the hair in the back down with water to get that nice and flat to the head. Then I did the velcro rollers and what I did was from that part. On this side I rolled these two rollers going up towards the center of the head, this rollers going towards the center of the head. This roller is going kind of back. These are going under this one's going sort of back this ones back. So basically from the part it's going in towards the head like the center of the head, and then the row in the middle is all going back off the face. So I'm gon na go ahead and start taking these out and though Pro rollers are gon na, give you a little bit of pouf and a little bit of frizziness and that's just the nature of them. But what I like about velcro rollers is that when your hair is very short, they will grab onto it and make it a little bit easier to roll the hair and control it. So it was all my rollers and, as you can see, that's already pretty good. I'M gon na go through it once with my dumb and Eiling brush and if you got roller marks, I'm going to take this teasing brush and back comb just a little anywhere there's like holes or spots that just need to be kind of blended together. Okay, now I'm going to take some pomade. This is my beyond the zone. Retro vinyl pomade, I'm just going to get a little bit of that in my hand, and I'm just gon na kind of like scrunch that in kind of pulling my fingers through and forming it like, you would a mohawk. I like it done with the curl, because I feel like it gives it a more feminine sort of appeal, even though it's a fauxhawk, it's a little bit more girly when it's got a curl to it, and then I'm going to take that wax. That'S in my hand, and use a little bit of extra through the sides to get those to mold down, and I mean you can really you can go through and like arrange it as much as you want. So I like the way the top is looking right. Now so I'm going to take a little bit of hairspray. This is my Garnier Fructis, flexible, controlled hairspray and I'm just gon na give that a good spray. What I like about the flexible hold hairspray is you can still kind of move your hair around even after you sprayed it to get it just perfect. I'M gon na have a look at the back and see how that's doing so. You don't like anything in the back. You can just take your teasing comb and just kind of get in there and fix it and then don't be afraid to give it another spray and voila. That is all it takes to have this cute little faux hawk. So here's the front, here's the side, the back and the other side. So there we go. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial. I'Ve got a lot more pixie hair, styling tutorials, as mine is growing out and I'm playing with it so subscribe. So you don't miss a thing and I'll see you guys next time, bye.
