Oh, wouldn't you love to see this Tune in next week to see my Hologram transformation into Shana Elmsford, But this week I'm going to break it down and give you kinky curly I-don't-care-about-my-frizzy-hair realness.. This is Liinda's bright idea.. I like to theive all her ideas and put them on YouTube., And then this is .... Look at that! That'S that zig-zag curl! That'S that 3C curl pattern Get out of here trick. Look at that! That'S no lace-front.! There'S my hair underneath.! So when I curl it, it should -- I'm going to make it come over here, so it doesn't matter if it's a lace-front. And then cut bangs.. It'S cute, though, right I look like a superhero. Minus the contacts., But look at the contacts. You're going to get yourself comfortable, because this is a long long process. I can't even count how many hours, but I was up until 5 in the morning, trying to do this. And you're gonig to need a lot of these long giant, bobby pins. And you're, going to section the hair off and then dampen it with water.. You can't really tell in this, but there's water that I used along the hair shaft., So you're just going to take the bobby pin and the hair and you're going to weave it in and out. In and out. Over under through. Over under through.. And you just want to make sure that the bobby pin is as close to the scalp as possible.. I mean you don't actually have to. If you wanted to do like a different style, you don't have to put it all the way up to the top., But that's where the texture is going to start., Because the bobby pins aren't long enough and the hair is actually really long, you're going to stack It if your hair is long. Now just kind of stack it. And then I just ... boom., I'm watching Jem. Getting inspired. Getting in character, And I just make sure that the hair is holding it down.. Then I bring that up.. It'S weird at this angle. See that So it's just you've got to be careful on the beginning. Part., You just keep going Once you get towards the end, you're just going to use a rubber band and tie it off. And once that's through, we are going to venture our way into the bathroom., Put it in the sink and I put hot water on it.. That'S the steam.: That's if you're using synthetic hair., If it's human hair, just use a flat iron and press it on top., It's 5 in the morning and I'm tired. I haven't slept yet ..., making this thing. Going in., That's what it does.! It'S wet and drippy ..., so I'm just going to let this dry out over --. I shouldn't even say overnight, because it's morning., I'm just going to put it out here.. This is the morning.. This is what it do and then, when you take it out, that's what it looks: like., Oh yeah, And then once you remove it, it's really defined. And that's cool if you want defined curls, but I want volume and I want frizz. And I want Shana realness.. So I'm just going to separate the sections and create more volume. And it's really simple: you just run your hands through the hair shaft. And you just keep working with it.. I actually didn't cut the hair. Just the ends where it didn't fit. Before.. So look at that. To go from this straight. Look! How much shrinkage there is. So make sure you guys tune in April 14th to see my transformation to Shana Elmsford. Be shameless
