Hi everyone. So today we have a special person here to introduce to you our friend, Steph and lovely Stephanie. We'Re so happy to have her stuff is gon na help us out today, she's gon na show how to blend short, hair, actually pretty short hair, because that has really shown you probably can't dance right now, because she's, amazing and blending it but yeah we're gon na Show you step-by-step how to blend in short, hair with Lexi hair extensions. It'S a very requested, highly requested video and we've been meaning to shoot it for so long yeah. Finally, right I got together yeah and we're ready to well she's ready to share all the secrets with you guys so yeah she's really amazing, and you know it comes so natural to you yeah. I don't know if I could do that. If I had, you know shorter hair yeah, or at least you know not blended that well, but it's not that hard. Well we're here to see what you think daughters. So exactly if you guys want to know what she does and how she blames her short hair with Lexi hair extensions, stay tuned and we'll see you after yeah bye, okay guys. So today, I'm gon na teach you how to blend your luxy hair extensions with short hair. Okay, so my haircut is normally do what I would call it, but it's short shoulder length. It'S growing kind of fast, but still get in there anyways. I have short layers at the top kind of see here like they're. I guess what would that be like three? I don't really know. I guess I would say three or four inches so not long at all. I'M folks, I think I have layers all around. It'S short anyways, so I'm gon na just explain to you how I blend my hair with the extensions, and I find it works very well, can't top so I've already curled my extensions. I'Ve actually worn them once since I've curled them. So this is just like the next I guess to do with curls yeah, so I always wear my hair straight underneath, like regardless of whether my extensions are curly wavy straight because of the length of my hair, I find that it like it blends the best. For me, I have curled my natural hair once, but that was when I curled them with my extensions in, and that was because I did like a very tight curl in the extension as well. So it just looks kind of weird without curling, my actual hair, but otherwise I always have my natural hair straight. Ok, so anyways I've already put Tresemme here this one. I already put my heat protective all over my hair and let it dry and whenever I did it just actually a couple minutes ago, okay, so first I used a three clip to weft for the very bottom and back of my hair line. So I'll just show you I heard it do you want to just take your hair and everyone, I guess kind of like you, do what works best for you also, depending on your style like you, may not want to put it as low as I am about To right now, you may want to put a little bit higher if you're putting your hand a ponytail or whatever, but I'm about to I'm gon na wait my hair down, so you just kind of like part, your hair, the rest in it and then what I Do to make it blend really well, is you straight take your fire and you straighten your hair and you want it not curly under that you just kind of want to well, they click the motion. You use with your sweetener it's kind of a good base. Like a see your occurred, you kind of want. Do you just want to make sure basically that the ends of your hair aren't flipping outward that they're gon na go in and not like poker straight and then I'm going to take my left take the middle clip of the three clipped weft and I'm just gon Na kind of try and find the center of the back of where I've heard it grab it snap, it should take the next clip same thing Jetts. My first clip weft is in so then the next I'm going to use a forklift weft for and then I usually, I guess, hurt my hair. I mean every time I take a little bit different. It depends right like where you feel it's the most comfortable. Like that's something I find very important like you want to put them where you like fine works best for you. Usually, though I do it just above my ear again, you just kind of like part, its leg, all the way around your head. Take the rest of your hair clip I've already sprayed it with the heat protectant. So I'm just and again you just want to strain it that motions that it's going underneath enough would be not at all. So then the forklift I'm just gon na kind of try. It again like Center it in the section with my head, the next part I usually like, I said I would say, like my eyebrow line, I guess you could say it would be like where I kind of do it or like an inch. I guess above my ear and then again you just kind of go around all the way around your head, not gon na stick. So then again, I use my other four clipped weft. So I did three four and now I'm doing another four, I'm just and then again you just wan na step and kind of try and get it in the middle of your head. Okay, so I have three of my extended so far, so I have again, I have the three, the four three clip f, forklift left and then another forklift with so I'm using my the next one is my three clipped left again, my second one. So you want to put it - I guess kind of it like the crown, the crown of your hairline I got like here, so I just kind of I guess, like your temple would be or no it's way above her typical. It'S kind of here, you'll figure out what works best for you and I just kind of again part it with my fingers. Yeah. That'S right, then, just take the rest of your hair which, as you can see like I have like no er there. It'S very short, so trust me. It is very easy to blend the extensions okay. So then I'll show you again. First I've already sprayed my hair. Is he protected? I'M just gon na straighten and again, like you know, make sure that the ends are sticking out. You they're gon na, take my feet, whipped, wet and again the cook in the middle put it in the center of the back of your head. Then I have so far in right. Now I have the three cooked, well, forklift fork, lift left and then another three clipped away whatever I do is I have my four one clip two is left and I have my two to clipped legs. So what I personally do with my left is. I am again just section my hair, like at the sides, so I usually do it, though every times I guess like a little different, not just section, my hair is above there, which kind of seems. I go beard, hair line as well, but um. I guess it kind of seems, like I don't know, it seems like a year think you may feel, like your clips are gon na show, but they don't as long as you have like at least enough hair to cover it and then again the guy always just Make sure I make sure that I just so then I'm taking one of my two clips wet and then okay, I'm just gon na put the front one and like it's kind of I know, people say that, like they feel that their clips are gon na show. As they're weighing their extensions, but I literally wear my clips, I get the front of my hairline as I'm clipping I'll. Show you right now like right there, yes and I'm I see it like I'll. Do it again, like you can see, I put that this clip on like no hair, like that's the amount of hair I'm about to clip onto, but I do this every day yeah. So I put my click there and then I put like just kind of obviously as long as the weft is the back there. You know obviously right now, you're gon na see that kind of be able to tell that it's doesn't lend right now, but I haven't done on top of it yet, okay, so that's that side and then again same thing to the side. So, as you can tell okay so now I have all of my website, except for my for one clipped web. So now what I do like this is kind of you can sometimes use after I've put in the up to us, but for the most part like I like to do it before so I can kind of you know I do a bit before and after I'm Just gon na kind of string again doing with the the technique that I've taught that I've been talking the whole time we're just kind of slipped it under, so it doesn't stick out at all. Okay. So now I'm gon na take my last forklift left, which I guess see like you, don't really need them like, as you can tell. I like this looks like a full head of hair, I'm kind of doing a 360 turn. You really need to last for cassettes, but I love them they're, pulling my the most important ones to me: anyways, okay, so with two of them I actually put them behind my ears just to kind of create more hair for down here and then not everyone will Want to do this, cuz you'll be kind of scared that your clips are gon na show. I'M never scared. I don't know why, if they don't show unless you you know, like move your hair like if I went like this and showed you my wife di you'll see it, but why would I ever do it? So I just take like the pale shades, so the one I kept wet I'll do the bottom two first, so I just kind of like it doesn't really matter where some day they put them up like kind of higher back here, but for the most part there. I finally been the most comfortable like right here behind my ear, so I literally just take it and just kind of like clip it in like that yeah that one and then so. The next clip again on this side, just kind of like behind my ear same idea - that I always wish Isaac, good luck and then okay. So these two are the ones that, like you, don't have to do this. But this is what I do, because I like to have more a lot of hair at the front as well um. I just kind of part my hair up here and then again I always kind of go and then I take the one. Cooked left really put it at the front. I get of my hair line and I just put there just that I have more like it. Just makes to me it makes it look more natural and then the last one. I actually did the same on this side, which I have like less hair, because of where my part is. But again I use like very little hair too clipped hard to UM and then I just yeah same thing right at the front of my hairline, the clip there make sure yeah and that's it. So all of my extensions and now I have a bleach blonde. 160 gram set, so it's number six one three and I'll just kind of turn around for you do the back: it's not going anywhere yeah, and that's it that's all I do. It takes me usually about five minutes at the most every day, to actually fully put them in, like you'll get better with it us like with practice. It takes some time to get used to it, but yeah, and just remember that it's the most important thing is to remember like what works the best for you, and obviously everyone's head is different number ones. Hair lines are different and just figure out what makes you the most comfortable and then go with that, but yeah. That'S how I blend up my luck, see Eric's and to push my short hair. You

VanessaOctavia: I loved this! Steph, please make more tutorials! It's SO helpful to me, because I have short hair <3 Love all of you guys! xo

ToND1Ne: Thanks for the great tutorial! Since my hair is fine like yours & about the same length, your technique will be the one for me. The end results were gorgeous & the long waves are stylish w/o looking over done.

Yuri Betancourt: I really love this tutorial! It looks so natural and comfortable

BrunetteBeauty: Well Done Steph, what a fantastic hair tutorial!! You explained very well, you took your time and it looked fabulous!! xx

SayWatYouWant: She did a wonderful job! I'm new to extensions and I was wondering how could i ever make it blend/work on my hair since its short. But her hair is shorter than mine and she made it work. Great job, cant even tell she has extensions!

Notmyrealname: Awesome job Steph! I bought the extensions and was having trouble with my shorter layers and now I have a new way to tackle the problem. Makes a lot of sense to use the straightening iron that way.

TheSayaV: OMG, amazing I might get myself some extensions, I have short hair for 5 years now and I've had really REALLY short hair and this seems like a perfect idea to switch sometimes ! I can't believe it's her first video ever, she was so natural and explained so well, such a GREAT job !

Kaela: Wow is that her first ever tutorial?! She's amazing! She explains things so well!:)

Maya: I've been trying to find a video that would help me trying to blend my hair. This was such a great video. I'd love to see more from her. If she has a way to blend the extensions naturally when it's straightened, that would be helpful and would make for a great video. Also, after curling my extensions, they always get so tangled. How does Steph combat that? And how does she store her extensions when she's not wearing them but still wants to keep the curl in them?

QuerkieGal: Steph, you did a Great job with your extensions! I am always paranoid about my clips showing-lol! But now I can try your technique and not worry! Thanks Mimi and Leyla for having Steph show us how she puts in her extensions. It's helpful to see people with different hair lengths use them.

Kaitlin Lord: thats awesome!! cant wait to try this, I have the same type of hair, very short and thin, and I think that the way you blended the extensions made your hair look very thick and beautiful! xo

Annabel Sharp: Hey! I was just wondering what your thoughts would be on creating more blonde shades? As there it quite a big difference between the dirty blonde and the next which is bleach blonde. Your extensions are gorgeous but they are either too dark or too light! xx

Heather Ainsworth: You are so cute while you are showing us this :) I love it! I have some extensions like this that I've hardly worn because I've felt like I was doing it wrong. This is perfect! I'm going to go try it now!

Elizabeatscancer: Great video! Congratulations on your first tutorial...you did a great job, and your hair looks lovely :-)

nikkybunny: Amazing tutorial. I feel ready to do my own clips now!!

Yasmin A: this is perfect! your hair cut is EXACTLY like mine it's ridiculous! I'm so glad I thought to look through the girls' old videos to try and find a blending one. I got my luxies around a week ago and i've been wearing them well but your technique blends better. my only question is and i hope someone answers me is have they changed the number of weft clips that they have in a package? cuz mine came with 2 3clip wefts, instead of 2 4clip wefts. please get back to me! :)

ツL: Great job. I love the way they look on you. So natural. I'm going to try

OhSnap ANerd: that was awesome! i was thinking of cutting my hair, short but didnt know how to get the lengthy look back.. thanks for the tutorial! greatly appreciate it! you did awesome by the way :D

TheEditedMom: I was skeptical about getting these because my hair is short and i didn't know how it would blend, but now i'm convinced!! Thank you for the video, the hair looks beautiful!

Betty2858: Been waiting for a video like this for yonks! Thank you so much to steph for doing a short haired video! Deffinatly making me think about extenstions now as i know how to blend them :)

rachel capasso: You saved my life! I couldnt blend my hair with my extensions for the life of me. And then i watched this, and it worked perfectly!

Dorien Omen: I'm so excited to order my Luxyhair extensions! My hair is short like Steph's hair in the video. I thought it wasn't possible until I saw this. Thank you Luxyhair!

Tanesha Frazier: you did a really good job. I literally have the exact same length hair as you and I've been putting extensions in my hair for 8 years. I've been skeptic to do clip ins because i don't want my baby to pull them out but I literally do mine the same as you just with glue. Now I know I've been doing it right. The trick to blending in short hair with long extensions is to put them in high. The higher you go the better the bland and always straighten your hair with a curve so the ends blend!

AroraRaunaq: i just got ready for dinner and i feel that my hair looks great !! thanks to all the three of you !! i have curled my hair and i'm wearing a gown !! i'm feeling like a princess !!

The Yogi Dancer: Awesome! They look so natural and so easy to put on!

Elizabeth Pelow: Wow, I wasn't expecting it to blend so well!

1jamdaful: Wonderful job on the video ... very helpful! thank you so much ... her hair looks so natural and beautiful

beka26: Ah, she explains this incredibly well! Thanks :D

Olivia: You did an awesome job girl!:)

hoofgirl31: nice job steph!! actually, just seeing your fine hair texture and how light your hair is(because its so much harder to hide extensions in bleach blonde hair normally) did a great job selling the extensions because it really shows how flat and hidden the clips are! (i went from bleach to dark :) i couldn't believe you put them right at the hairline in such a little amount of hair but i'm sold FOR SURE now lol i'm definitely getting luxy's next time just because of that. awesome job!

Alejandra Castro: This was her first ever video tutorial?! She sounded like a pro at it! Great job!

alexandra: The tip about putting the small wefts so close to the front hairline, really helped! You don't notice the weft at all! Thank you!!

Naomi K: wow what a natural for a first video! this was actually really helpful so thanks x

xlamprini: LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR TUTORIAL it was very helpful :)
