Hi everyone welcome to Bombay hair. Today'S video is going to be a quick tutorial on how to clip hair extensions into short hair and I've got pretty short hair. I cut my hair into a law, but probably I think last June, or something like that. I think it was June, and so my hair has grown out a little bit, but I still noticed that I have little pieces of hair that still stick out. So I wanted to teach you guys a little trick of mine that I do to hide the little short pieces in my hair, and this is also really great for blending blunt cut hair. So if you're, like a straight across cut and you're, noticing that your hair extensions aren't really blending well into your natural hair, this is a great fix for really helping to alleviate that divide in your hair extension. So you can utilize this tip as well. If you have a blonde hair cut - and this is also great - if you want to use a thinner set of extension - so what I did was - I went to Bombay hair and grabbed a box of the 125 gram, Bombay baby hair extensions. So these are a little bit thinner, there's less extensions in the pack. So last night I gave these a wash so that they were nice and fluffy for filling today and what I'm going to do is clip them into my hair and then I'm going to show you some tips on how I blend everything together. So what you're going to need is a set of hair extensions, you're going to need some bobby pins. A comb I'm using my Bombay hair comb today and what you're going to do is take your comb and take a section of the bottom of your hair and divide it here. I'Ll show you so we have this nice little section of hair. So this is the trick I'm going to do with it. So next step grab your bobby pins and you can do two ways of this. So one way is to take this little section of hair and twist it and pin it with a bobby pin or you can take this little section of hair and braid it and then pin it. So if you have really short hair, I recommend braiding it so that the little pieces of hair aren't sticking out. So I'm going to twist my hair and pin it and then we're going to move on to the next step all right, so I really pinned it down there. So I took a few bobby pins just to make sure that everything was nicely secured and that little bun of hair is not going anywhere. The trick is to get the bobby pin to go in this direction. That way, it's not sticking into your scalp and making things uncomfortable or possibly slipping down later on. So I like to pin the pins in this way, horizontal, alright. So the next step grab your extension and I always start with the two cut pieces. And if you want to be a more in-depth tutorial on how I clip in my hair extensions down below, I have linked the how to clip in extensions video from the Bombay hair channel right down here. So give that a watch afterwards. Because you might get some extra tips because I'm just doing this one a little bit more quickly, okay, so I'm just going to take my two clip piece here and clip them in to the little section that we just pinned up and that way that creates a Nice solid foundation for the extensions to fit in especially the bottom extension, because these can flip out sometimes so I find making this little bun in the back is so good for really holding me then beautifully. So I'm just going to do this and you can watch so those are in nice and tight I'll, even pull to show you how strong that is, it's not going anywhere. So I'm just going to keep going up my hair and again. If you want to check out see how to clip in hair extensions video, you can go check that out down below and I'm just going to continue carrying on putting in all of my extensions and then I will be right back so. Waste engines are all clipped in and I use the thinner set today because I wanted to really over exaggerate the divide in my hair. So I'm going to show you look at that, so you can see. The divide here is quite strong, so you see how you can see is a dreaded line in the hair. That is what we want to avoid at all costs. So I'm going to use my 5 and 1 curling wand from Bombay hair, and this is the 25 millimeter attachment, so the biggest trick for blending is to use a curling wand. This is the Holy Grail. That'S going to blend everything together, it's going to blend your natural hair into your extensions and nobody's going to know that you're even wearing extension. Now I highly recommend doing a 25 millimeter barrel or smaller, because the bigger barrels I find are good for longer hair. I find the shorter my hair, the smaller the barrel, the better the look. So I'm going to stop babbling now and move on to the next step and I'm going to curl my hair and you will see the blending happen. So let's get started you okay, so I just finished curling my hair and next i'm going to take my bombay hair brush and you can take any brush or you can buy a bomb, a hair brush for about ten dollars on the website. If you're here right now, just click up to the accessory section, this is my fav, so the big thing is to give your curls up brush. So i always start at the bottom and it just helps to blend all of those short pieces in together. You see that it's just slowy and blending and i'm going to show you the back there you go see, there's no little bits sticking out either and you know if you're one of those people that has like a little bit but stick out on the side. Maybe you used to have a pixie cut or something like that, and you still have some little pieces showing what you can do is take up the sides of your hair and pin them like this, and that really helps to hide any of the smaller bits. Sticking out in these areas it looks great, and it's also just really good, at hiding everything, alright guys. Roger Acosta: You think 125 grams are enough for a lob or collar bone hair length my hair is not that thick it’s fine to medium thickness

Benz: I get this is an older video.... But thats hella long for hair... when you said short im thinking hair above the chin and higher....

Faith Castillo: Lady, your hair is not short it is medium/long. Furthermore, that "little" piece you said to braid or twist does not work for my genuinely short hair. Not a useful video for me.
