Hi everyone today, I'm here with my friend jasmine hi, and we're going to show you how to clip in foxy locks, extensions on short hair. Now jazz has got caramel blonde foxy locks in the superior set. Now she's got ombre look, so her hair is slightly darker on top. Obviously - and it goes like this, so she's chosen the lightest set of hair extensions, and so it blends in perfectly and carries on that envelope. So if you want to find out how to create this, just keep on watching hello, I'm going to show you today how to put the foxy locks the extensions into shorter hair. My hair is a long bob and it's quite chunky, so I'm going to teach you how to blend the hair. So it's a nice seamless, look throughout. So, first of all, I'll just show you the back of my hair. So, first we're going to make a hair pad, which is going to make a secure base for us to pin our extensions to and also to hide some of the short pieces here which can be a telltale sign of shorter hair with extensions in them as well. So we're going to sectional hair so just above your hairline turn around so just above your hairline, I'm going to keep that section down and just using a clip we're going to secure that in we're going to backcomb this piece under here to create your hair pad. So when you're back, comb just need to push the hair from the ends into the root with this doesn't need to be neat because we're making a secure padding for our extensions okay, so you've got that backcombed in I'm, going to turn around and show you how We'Re going to secure it so pinch the ends of the hair and just roll them under. Will it get nice and tight to the scalp and just hold it with your hands? You'Ve got to take this hand away. I'M going to get our crabby grips like this. Can be any color because I'm not going to be seen we're just going to pin the hair to the head like that, so probably three pins will be enough if you've got much thicker, hair or longer hair you'd have to roll it up and then secure it. In the back, so just I want to show you so that's going to be our where our first extension is going to sit here. So you don't take any more hair down just give them a brush through. So I'm using my number three Clips here so we're going to secure these at the back. I always start in the middle okay. So have your clips open and we're just going to push that clip onto the hair netting pad that we've made and clip it in wet so and come to the left and the right click them in. So, as you can see, there's no short hair here, which can be a really big giveaway and just get that brush through. I curled mine last night, just with some heated rollers, to give it a bit of softness and a bit about okay, just making sure that feels secure the next section, so just above the last one. Now because my hair is quite fine, I tend to backcomb the root a little to secure the extension clip for okay, so just going to put in our second weft we're back click those to your head. So now we've got some short hair which is going to be down within the extensions. So what you can do is have your straight as next to you ready and where you have the short hair on the long hair, just grab both sections and just give it a little bend. So it all blends in so exaggerate the angle. So you on the straight and round so I'm going to put it on next with again just a little section up from your last extension cut that out the way. Okay again, this is the number three clip where for three clips on it, so little backcombing to secure it, we're just going to bend those ends of the natural hair. So when you secure the extensions all blends in well and that just a little bend just to have suffered, I'm secure those into a house. Ok! So now we're going to put our next weapon, which is our work with four clips on just pull that section down. We'Re not leaving much gap between each section of the hair give that little back home again just to help secure it in place. This is your longest wet with the fall clip, so you need to find it sits at the widest part of your head. So just secure that in long beautiful hair, so these pieces here, I'm going to show you shortly how to blend those in as well to make sure they're all secure. Now we're going to put our number twos into a side section to give you the length around the front of your face a little bit cautious, adjuster, clear, so lift in that section again so going to be placing the extensions here now now you don't go too Far forward, so you can see it, but equally you want to make sure that it looks natural. This weft has two clips on, so we clicked the one nearest your face. First and there's the perimeter line, I'm just really trying to kill that clip onto the back combing and lift this back around. It'S a cool name. So this is when it starts to take shape and it's tough to really create that long length. So if you secure them, really well they'll stay in for the whole day or if you've been for drinks or going out for party, you know you haven't, got to worry about them, sleeping what anybody see the clips number two. You have four number twos superior step. We'Re going to use the last two left at the top here to create some volume from just underneath the crown by working really just at the top of the crown there and last section we're just going to take down very, very small section of hair. Just to help in that last bit in last one to go in, you should be able to drag the clips. You go down your head to find the secure point and then just push the clips into your head. Okay, so all your weft in now feeling beautiful and long so now we're just going to adjust the hair, that's on the top to blend in with the rest, if you just take your straightener, if you have any sections around the front again, just gently turn them In nice angle to blend top section comes down now, so you can have your parting, where it's going to where we want it to be. Mine is going to sit quite central today to get a good brush through, so I've got a little bit fringe. I'M just going to start working on this front section here and start blending this in here, like I talked to you before we're going to give my fringe a bit of a bend to lend it and just using your straightener, just tease in that last section of Hair when we had, on top to help sit in the extensions countryside, so most hairstyles now have a shorter section around the front for the fringe or if you have like quite central parting and along for, enjoy a side fringe so these pieces. Here you can see what we're going to do is when I take these and pin these back to the hair pad. So if you put all the hair back off your face and these sections here, the ones we don't want to keep the fringe keep that section down. But these longer sections here that can be harder to blend. We'Re going to pin these in the back to the original hair pad that we made, so we just take the section and take your Kirby grip and just pin it underneath. So we lose that shorter piece here. So our level is the fringe section which is quite normal to have on the other side and you're, just securing it underneath to that hair pad. We originally made at the beginning to this fringe section here just blends and gives that nice softness around the face. I'M just going to do one last check over the crown, so this section of hair here at the back, fill it up and over just to bend through the style coming into place. So just give you that real nice soft flows, when we can't see any telltale signs here that the hair is short to underneath only from the fringe which, if you wanted to you, could pin back to give you that volume in height. If they was quite chunky things you didn't want it there. So I'll just show you the back. It'S all that nice blended look waste week. So I hope you enjoyed jazz is in depth tutorial on how to clip in foxy locks in short hair, and, as you can see it looks stunning. You wouldn't even know that she had short hair, but you know I love it how'd, they feel yeah. I feel really happy them. They'Re, really natural really easy to put in I'm definitely wearing them a lot perfect. So thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video. Thank you see you soon. Bye

Carly Humbert: looks amazing :)

Fallon: I know a lot of people wear extensions to make their hair look longer but it really is nice when you get to the point where your hair is the same length as the extensions and you can just wear one or two wefts for thickness. Great video <3

Stacey Lamb: Jasmine should start her own channel, she made everything clear and easy to understand x

jadey3: Very helpful. Love the tip about pinning the short hairs x

Just Dawnie Ford: Excellent tip to make the hair pad at the back. I've always wondered how to disguise the short bits at the back! x

Ali Mae Wilson: I have never thought of pinning the short hairs to hide them! That is my biggest problem when it comes to putting them in. I find my hair doesn't blend well, so I can't wait to try this!!

MACupGrl xoxo: Here in the US we simply make 2 small braids on the bottom layer of natural hair THEN secure them left to right above your ears with a bobby pin to your head. Next, add your extension weft.

Lou McCann: very helpful a few years ago I had this problem of making it look real as i had the same length of hair and i totally gave up because i knew people would guess i was wearing hair extensions. Obviously my hairs longer now and I haven't had hair extensions since but if i ever do I will buys these.

Emily M: I've been using foxy locks for 3 years and they are by far the best on the market, love them! <3
