Changing My Look! Sewin Hair Extensions | Over My Short Hair!

I don't know: hey y'all, welcome back to my channel, I'm Janae Nichols in case you are new and I'm gon na be doing a sew in today. So, as you guys know about two weeks ago, I did dye my hair damage it a little bit had to cut the back shorter and I'm just not feeling it like. I'Ve legit ordered a wig, I'm getting a wig made because I'm just like I don't want to wear my real hair out. I just I don't I don't I don't like it. I feel like I need more hair on my head, um, so yeah I'll be doing a sew-in until my wigs get done or my wigs get here, I haven't had a sew-in in about a year. I did have a hair appointment to actually get my sew-in done by somebody else, but but you already know how things go nowadays it got pushed back and I wasn't able to make the appointment at the time that she pushed it back to so I say you Know what I'm gon na just do it myself, so I'm just using some braiding hair and do my braid down. I am not the best braider I braid very slow. I did this have to do a side part I feel like that. Would look the best on me just because of the length of my hair? Normally, I would have did a middle part, but I just felt like a sad part, would look best and I also did put a net on my head because, like I said, I'm not the best braider. I know some of my braids probably won't be super tight in the back. So that's why I decided to wear a net just so it can be a little more sturdy because I am going to Cancun in about a week and a half, and I think I'm gon na wear my hair like this, depending on how the wigs look once They come in, but yeah I'll be using three bundles of Kendra boutiques body wave hair. I did color it literally. All I did was use 20 volume in joyco blind life. I left it on for about 10 minutes on each bundle rinse it out and it just matched my hair perfectly. So that was good. I am doubling them up just to make the process go by faster y'all. I'M doing this on myself. So, of course, it's not gon na be perfect, it isn't as flat as I would like it to be um. I did miss some spots like not pulling the string all the way, so I did have to go back at the end and cut those and tie it, and you know all that, but overall I think it turned out really good. I used to do my own sew-ins back in high school and when I I was in college, so it's nothing new to me. I just hate braiding, so my breakdowns aren't the best so yeah again three bundles and I did use almost all of the hair. I had like a little strip left, but I did want this to be super full and also. I know I said that I would show you guys the treatments I'll be doing in my hair since I colored it, but to be honest with you, I felt like it would be. I don't want to say pointless, but it just would have been like the same old video of me, deep conditioning, my hair and showing you guys how I suppress it, which you guys have seen so many times literally. All I did was do um olaplex treatment, which I have a video on I'll link it down below um. I did the Mizani moisture mask I've used that before and I did the well. I think it's called a the willow complex. It'S like a protein treatment, um I'll have that link down below too so yeah. I could have recorded it but, like I said it literally would have been the same old thing, I'll be doing all my videos. So I thought this one would be a little more interesting. It'S because I don't be doing someone's on my channel so yeah, so yeah just sewing the hair in um. In the beginning, I am going through the track just to make sure it's nice and secure, and then I start going under the track just to you know just to have it go by faster, because at this point I'm trying to get this hair in my head. I was tired, like honestly, I took a nap after the breakdown came back and finished it, even though I was so tired, so yeah at this point, I'm trying to just get it in my head, get it styled and go back to sleep, wow wow, all right! So the hair is all in I'm just cutting off the net, and then I use my Paw Patrol foaming Pomade to put on my natural hair. I did not have my products that I use my hair all the time with me. They were at the salon, so I decided to use what I had and the Paul Mitchell foaming. Pomade is actually really good. I just haven't used it in a while, but yeah. That'S what I used on my natural hair and then I used my T3 flat iron to flat iron. My leave out, I blow dry, the hair just to get some of the Waves out, and then I use my Edge booster, the pink one, which is the best one. I like my edges down, I added like slight layers to it. Nothing too crazy. I definitely wanted to keep my length um. You know if I want to cut it shorter, I can in the future, but first install. I definitely want to keep all of my leans foreign foreign, this texture spray by igk. I did a video on this before I actually really like it. Of course, I normally wouldn't use this as a hairspray before I curl but, like I said I don't have all my products with me. So normally you would use this after you curl just to add some texture, but I'm gon na use it as a hairspray. Before I curl it'll work. It'S fine for my waves. I use my T3 curling iron. I went ahead and did my makeup just to you know complete the look and I love it. I feel like myself again, like I don't know with that short hair and like the color was different too. You know I'm so used to Black. I just did not feel like myself. I wasn't feeling myself like, I just felt like uh, if that makes sense, so I just need a little bit of length and I'm very happy at this point. Like I said I feel like myself.
