Thank you for watching gorgeous! xoxo

Hey everyone, so today I want to talk to you a little bit about blending your extensions. There are a few ways that you can do this. I already created a video showing you how I clip in my extensions when I have short hair for reference I'll insert a picture here, but my hair is about shoulder length, imbalanced um. So when you have extensions that are super long, it can be a little tricky to get them to blend seamlessly and have your hair look really natural. So we'll link the video down below that. I created where I show you my tips and tricks for clipping and extensions on short hair. I'M styling also helps a lot wearing it straight is the most difficult. If you curl just put a little bit of a bend into your hair, it really can help blend them as well, but one of my favorite tips to make the whole process so much easier is to get your hairstylist to give your extensions, a custom cut. If you look at my extensions now, they're blended as much as they can be, the layers on the top are still very short, because my natural hair is short in some of the spots. It almost just looks if I were to keep it straight, like I had a little bit of a bad haircut, so today I invited my hairstylist over and she is going to walk us through how she gives my extensions, a custom haircut every time I do this Now to every single set of extensions that I wear, because lately I've been preferring more of a shorter look. I mean still very long, but I like to take off quite a few inches off the bottom. And then I like to run a lot of face framing layers and layers through the back, so that the layers blend together and the hair looks so much more natural now. This might not be necessary for you if your hair is already long and you find that your extensions blend perfectly well. This is definitely not something you need to do when you buy extensions, but if you have really short hair, you know the difficulties in wearing really long hair extensions, and this is a really great trick to make everything look so beautiful and very natural. So if you think a custom cut might be for you and you want to see more, keep on watching all right. We are just going to get started by getting some of this length off of the extensions today. Megan'S natural hair is pretty short, as you can see right here by this little guy that I'm holding up so to make things blend a little bit easier and make the extensions a little bit more manageable. For Megan we're going to take about three and a half inches off of these so start by clipping some of this out of the way, because it's a lot of ironing, so I'm just kind of combing through to make sure everything is combed out and nice. When I cut extensions, I always like to go in at an angle and instead of doing a blunt crop cut straight across, I like to go in and do like kind of a point cut into the hair, so that it looks a little bit more natural and Not so like a 12 year old bob, alright, so I drop down another section of hair. Hold me close till I get up, thumb is belly outside. I don't want always with love stores which is leading us. Love is all we ever trust. Ya know. I don't always with blue there, so everything is even a nice, and now we are going to throw some layers in there before the layering. What we're trying to do is give it a little bit more of that really blended layered. Look that Megan likes to go for a little bit more bohemian, so what I typically do with Megan and she's really good about placement of the extensions. So she knows where they go. So I'm able to do a little bit more aggressive, layering and taking sections of the hair and then doing a slide cutting motion to give it a lot of that layering, making sure that I don't actually cut her real hair. So I like to use my wide tooth comb and bring it out and then find out where, like financial hair ends and start from there and just do a slight cutting motion that way, she gets that really feathered. Look that she likes to create a song. I don't miss Abby, we'll go through the wastelands through the highways through my shadow through sunrays and and now I am going to be using my blending shears. I don't ever go in and just do straight chop chop I like to go in and do a little bit of scooping motion, while always kind of moving the blades open and closed. That way. You don't get any harsh lines, but you're able to take weight out and blend at the same time, alright guys. So this is the final look. Either did an awesome job. My hair looks so good. This looks so much more natural than it did before and when you have really short hair, this is going to make it a lot easier for you to clip in your extensions and have them look really nice and natural, especially if you plan on wearing them straight. I hope you guys found this useful and enjoy your new extensions.
