Hi guys to see how I cut color and style, my extensions keep watching. So if you guys have been watching my videos, you will know that. Two months ago I got a chemical haircut. I literally bleached half of my hair off, and I will show you right here what my hair looked like before I burned half my hair off. It was super thick super long and very healthy. However, most of my hair is naturally gray and I just got so tired of coloring, my hair. It was getting to the point where every week I could start to see the white hair coming through. So I decided to bleach my hair and tone it silver and the first time that I had it done. My hairdresser only put highlights in my hair. I wanted to be a little more conservative with the bleaching and I thought that it would tone to the gray that I wanted, but, as you can see in this picture here, it was kind of like a muddy, looking color and it just wouldn't get to that. Nice gray, silver color that I have now then, a month later, I talked my hairdresser into bleaching, my hair again. She warned me that there could be some breakage, but I honestly had no idea that it could ever turn out the way it did. My hair had literally just had enough and, as you can see here, it got burned bad, it was nobody's fault. I do not blame my hairdresser. She is an amazing licensed hairdresser. I talked her into it. I took the risk. I did not think this was going to happen and from the very beginning, I've stayed very positive. I was actually filming when this happened and you could look on my channel if you want to see my gray hair transition videos. I'Ve also been doing a lot of treatments on my hair. I'Ve also got videos for those i'm using natural oils, the a faux g protein treatment and i just started using ola flex number 3. I purchased it directly from their website and i use that once a week. So, even though my hair is growing super fast, as you can see on my roots, that is only eight weeks of growth. I know that it's going to be a couple of years before it gets this long again, and these human hair extensions were the perfect thing. There was no way that I could get anything that already matched my hair, so I did the coloring myself. These are the hair extensions that I got and I bought two packages. These are a hundred percent remy human hair fourteen inches in the color six thirteen and I did a test strip first and I literally got it exactly the same color as my hair. This is what it looked like before, and this is after first I'm going to wash all of the extensions with shampoo and conditioner and just use whatever shampoo and conditioner. You normally use in your own hair. Now I'm adding conditioner, then I just put all the hair on a towel and just press on it to get the water out. Then I'm going to use my roof fanciful silver lining. This is a temporary color rinse, and this is what I use to tone. My natural hair and you have to wear gloves because it will stain your hands now on the towel dried hair. I just squirt this on and run it through I'm kind of just using the counter. Now, once this dries, I need to do it one more time. Just because it's the first time that I'm doing this to the hair, then I'm clipping them on this hanger that I got so they can dry. Now I've got all the hair drying on these racks. They are so perfect. I just used two of them and clip the hair on these little rubber clips and now, as soon as these dry, I will put one more coat on and let it dry again so doing this in the shower is the perfect place, because it is completely dripping Everywhere and it's nice and easy to clean it right up, this is the difference in one application and two applications. I'M using a seam ripper to take the clips off of some of the wefts. Then I am going to sew two wets together, so the ones that I purchased are already double left, so I am going to make them four strips of hair in one left, so it's nice and thick now, it's all attached in there. It'S not the most graceful sewing job, but it will hold fine, and you can't see anything from the outside. The hair is all dry. It looks so perfect. You guys look at that. It is literally the same color as my hair. These racks are so perfect. I just clip the extensions actually in the order that I'm going to put them in and the same order that I take them out, because I get a little dyslexic when I'm looking at the pieces, I forget where they go. This is also great because there's a hook on it, you can hook it on your shower, like I showed you to dry these, you can hang them while you blow-dry them. I just let them air dry and you can also hang it if you want to straighten or curl your extensions while they're, not in your hair. So the first thing I need to do is to section off my hair, just above my ears, because my hair is so short at the bottom. This all needs to be tucked in so that it's not going to stick out underneath the extensions. Now I'm going to take the first piece and comb it out and I'm going to open up the clips and center it just where I pin the hair up click. The clips and the first piece is in and I'm going to let my hair down and section off a part just above where I clip that one and I'm going to do the same thing Center. The first clip pull over to the side. This one, as you can see, is angled because my hair is layered. I made this side a lot shorter and angled it down, and I actually cut these when they were in my hair and I'll show you how I did that once I get them in. I just let down the rest of my hair and now I'm going to use my Vidal Sassoon Pro Series repair. This is a heat protector and shine spray and I'm going to spray that, through my hair and I'm using my Conair infinity Pro curling iron. This is one and a half inch and I will put the link to this below with everything else, so I am leaving this on the lowest heat. This is 310 degrees, since I'm trying to use as little heat as possible on my natural hair, as it's healing from my bleach burn. Now I'm just going to curl my hair as if it were my own natural hair and just taking my natural hair and the extensions and blending them together now for trimming. What I did is I felt where my extensions were and grabbed pieces that need to be shorter, so this needs to be shorter to blend this hair in so I'm just going to comb that hair up and I'm going to cut off and then start point cutting. Now that blends in the shorter pieces of my hair on tops so much better, I am totally addicted to these hair extensions. I am joining at the hair extension Club. I never thought I would say that now that they're all colored and styled I can just pop them in whenever I want super quick. I'M sure you guys know this already, but don't ever ever ever wear your hair extensions to bed. It will rip your hair out and I definitely would not wear these every single day because the metal is pulling on your hair. So for me this is just a once in a while thing so that I can let my hair heal. I will link everything down below in the description box for you and if you haven't already please like and subscribe, thank you so much for watching you guys bye,

Ranalynn’s Lifestyle in Hawaii: Good evening Lisa. Whenever I watch your videos I’m so tempted to go grey. My sister loves her extensions. This was very helpful and extremely helpful. I enjoy how detailed you are in your videos. Sewing two together was a good idea . I love how you store them on a hanger. Stay fabulous and enjoy your weekend. Hugs and Aloha ...Ranalynn

Kimber Lee: Your hair is looking great without the extensions! Bombshell with them! You make it all look so easy, I can’t even braid my own hair

sandra s: A short, short trim which I did not request led me to get extensions about 10 yrs. back. At the local mall the price was 1,400.00 Yes you read right. It looked horrible and they were sewn in. After 2 weeks of scratching and hair falling out everywhere I pulled them out. It was an expensive experience. Never again!!

Anne P Conley: Great video! I'm transitioning to grey hair, and I was wondering how I would find grey extensions. This is so helpful. Thanks.

Mammers: Love your videos Lisa! You are truly a beautiful soul and I'm enjoying getting to know you and learning new things from you. I've been using Castor oil on my eyelashes and eyebrows for the last couple weeks and have seen an increase in the hair growth especially on my eyebrows. I thought this would be a good idea for you to try for growing your hair. They say it increases your hair growth 3 to 5 times the normal rate. Anyways, thanks for sharing your journey and being so positive. You are an inspiration!

Carla McKinnon: I’m a newbie to your channel....you are a very lovely classy lady! Watching your videos I can see the love you have for your family and friends. So sorry you had your heart broken but glad to see you’re mending...because that’s what us classy women do!

Judy Gonzalez: Wow beautiful results!! ‍♀️

* Erica *: Ooooh girl this has happened to me too! But i looooove this silver color!

Elizabeth B. In Texas: Amazingly beautiful & your hair, too!

Whispering Eagle Landers: This is a gorgeous color!!

Tenille Tollison: Will you please ask your stylist the level your hair was lifted, before using the ION colors, in your other video.... which of course, I know that it will be best to only lift once, rather than double lift (bleach) and if it requires a second lift, it will definitely have to be done slowly, but the fanci full may be a good alternative in between the lightening process, so that the time it’s resting, it can be toned without having to use more chemicals... Although, permanent hair color is not near as harsh as lightener/bleach, it still is a chemical, and if a chemical can be avoided, especially while going thru this process/journey, then that’s a great thing!!!!! I know it may be a pain having to apply the toner after every shampoo, since it’s a rinse, and will come out, and if you are like me, your hair needs to be shampooed more often than others, but can be done easily while in the shower, to put thru your hair... Anyway, I’ve had a lot of clients want this look/color.... and it is definitely a process.... that takes TIME, which is hard to get people to understand, which I know how I am as well, I want it done right then, lol and don’t won’t to be patient, but for your hairs sake, u have to in order to avoid losing some or all of it!!! Buttttt although I’ve been doing hair and color for a long time, you can NEVER know too much, there’s something new you can learn ALL the time, just have to be willing to be humble, and not like ALOT of stylists I know, that are stuck in their ways, and refuse to listen to ANYONE else, even when they could learn something from them, SO with that being said, I am glad/happy that (not happy about what happened to your hair) just saying I am happy that you brought us along this journey with you, because it has taught me some more things... and some I already knew, but this taught me some things to do, in order to help someone achieve this look, without burning off their hair..... as long as they are willing to be patient thru the process ( and “raise their right hand to solemnly swear, to be patient and not do anything else to their hair during the process LOL and trust me as their stylist/colorist, etc...). Anyway, I’m just curious what level of lightness needs to be achieved, (according to your extensions, I think you said they were a “6” something, which would mean, I’d assume a level six, which honestly isn’t really that light compared to a 8, 9, 10 But is a good thing, bc that means it can be done, just might take some time depending on what color the hair already is, before hand, and chemicals that are already on the hair, prior, etc.... but the toner over those extensions looked great, so that would be a great alternative while in the transition phase, if trying to preserve the hairs health, while doing so.... (but of course hair will have to be light enough for the toner/rinse to turn out that color, but if the natural hair is light enough and pretty even thru out to take the toner/rinse evenly.) THEN once the next lightening (bleach) process happens, then depending on the shape the hair is in, (if good, still pretty strong, not saying perfect, bc it will obviously have some damage, all chemicals cause some damage, but the less damage, obviously the better :) and then I’d feel comfortable doing the permanent toner!!!!! Anyway I think you are gorgeous, regardless!!!!! You could be bald and STILL be gorgeous!!!! Inside and out!!!

Daisy Medina: Wow you always do an amazing job ❤

Donna Smith: You are amazing, it looks great!!

Cathy L: You look absolutely Beautiful! I love this color on you.

liselle sloan: So how do you sew the wefts together exactly? All through the clips? I wish you could zoom in on this. How about doing a "Halo" extension also? I like the clip-ins, but I find having that many clip-ins hurt my scalp after a while. Maybe you could order a pre-made Halo piece and dye it and style it, and show us.

Wynter North: Seriously, you did a great job! I am trying to transition to grey and want extensions for my natural grey hair BUT I don't know how to make it match. What will you do to custom color extensions to match your natural color? I love how you cut the hair to blend in too--wow your good!

LauraLynne: Lisa, would you consider doing a recent favorites video on makeup, skincare, hair etc... I always love your recommendations!

Rockysmom: You have so much patience but it pays off. Nice work! I'd love to see how you've been cutting your hair as it gets shorter. I'm always chopping my own hair and messing it up! :D

Kara Hamburg: wow ur hair looks so good :)

Rawnda Flowers: so beautiful!!!!

Bev Trader: Great video and I 'm going grey too ..made up my mind.

dolly dimples: You are a magician with your hair it looks great&natural well done.uk england.:-)

Lucas Official: You’re absolutely stunning! & wow your hair grows SO fast! I wish mine did. Is that though all the treatments or does It naturally grow fast? Love your videos.

juliane1mota: It got amazing!!!!!

Sunshine: Looks lovely

Janna Lynn: Very interesting and informative!!!! Keep looking UP!!!

Simstress06: Gorgeous!

Kristin Gorden: Congrats on the new grand baby! Cool idea on the hair extensions.

Joanna Ledbetter: Dear Lisa, You are so brave. I would have cried and cried until I had no more tears. LOL ... Great instruction video, you are so positive and uplifting. I am glad you have your long hair back even if it is only for special occasions. You look lovely. ~ Joanna ♡

Marlene Marken: Are you a licensed cosmetologist or are you just really good with hair etc. You hair is beautiful. And the extensions. blend so well with your natural hair.!!! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge

Kristin Gorden: Hi Lisa. How do you pronounce the name of the hair extensions? Is it "snow-lite"?

cheryl Davidson: Hi Lisa love your video, you’re very talented! Also I love your shirt, where did you get it?

Litafaerie: Wow I saw your bleaching video on @bradmondo channel. Your hair looks great with extensions!

cheryl Davidson: Awesome, can’t wait!!!

sandra s: I love the short Bob too. Makes you look like a young girl! Nice

Buford C.: gorgeous!

Cheryl Ardis: Can you PLEASE share how to maintain your color. FYI you look younger with the gray!!

Beth Lovett: You are so sweet and forgiving of your stylist.i like the other smoky color you had too.they both look nice on you

Magnolia Magnolia: Hi Lisa . You are beautiful . What face creams do you use to keep yourself looking young. You look amazing! I am 41 and have issues with my cheeks sagging right above my lips.

Valeria Stokes: Lovely!

ClovisSassyGirl88101: You remind me of holly madison, just found you from a "how to style over the knee boots" on a different channel. Glad I clicked on you!

Julie Barnes: They look great!!!!!

Person Incognito: Let the natural grey come out. It will be stunning. Nothing like a beautiful woman with long natural hair.

Margaret Leal: I love the gray you have sporting...cant wait to go back to gray...

Katie G: You look like a combo of Carrie Underwood and JLo! So gorg!!

Tenille Tollison: Hope rain doesn’t affect that liquid toner, because when it gets wet, that stuff runs... I am a licensed cosmetologist and u have to be careful with that stuff... Anyway it looks great!!! Have one other question tho, I have people coming in asking for this color and some are in their 20’s.... just curious since the hair extensions did so well with that fancy full toner, when you lift yours, do u use this to tone it permanent color? Just curious but this would keep from damaging it more, although just be carful when they get wet

Sandra Wagner: On my goodness its beautiful. But guess what your beautiful with short hair long hair or no hair. Love your videos.

Ms Excalibar: Nice Job Chick!

macarthur field: Just to let you know I'm thinking of you, and that you have fantastic things ahead of you. So, do NOT be too much of a worrier too much, if you can help it !!!

Vito S: Omg! you are impressive, stunning, clever as no one and living life hack hahaha; I love my mother but I would not despriciate a mother like you! Kisses from Italy! :*

Olive Flores: You are so beautiful I’m so glad I found your channel

Michelle M: They look amazing, fantastic job! Do they feel heavy on your head? Are they expensive? Does it feel weird wearing someone else's hair and where does it come from? Haha so many questions! Can you tell I have never seen hair extensions done before!

aries: I feel you Focus a lot in your hair!!! Love to see something different ¡,,,

clipinqueen: Well done! You are fearless.

Lori Kay Bruski: Hi Lisa.. Just wanted to say hey and tell you I really like this look. However I think you look beautiful with long or short hair.. I was wondering if you missed your long hair.. I have been letting my hair grow out and it is pretty long right now. It's funny but I find I always miss the opposite of what I have at the time. Right now I am missing my short haircuts but if I cut my hair I will miss long hair.. You are a great teacher by the way!! Have a great weekend, Xoxo, Lori K.

Michelle M: Oh my goodness! I just noticed you now have two grandbabies! Congratulations.

Nancy's Love For Make-Up: Even after your accidential haircut, you still have such thick and full hair, I can't even wear a single set of extentions without the clips being so visible !!!! My hair just doesn't have enough fullness to cover the clips. I do have a one piece extention with an elastic band going around my head and part my hair over the elastic but that's all I can use, you know I always wear wigs, but my hair is growing at high speed now, so it will be better soon, I am not styling it in any way now and just let it do it's thing around the house just like it is and if I film or go out, I wear a beanie or a wig. You are with this just as amazing as with all you do, your skincare, makeup, clotingstyle, you're my icone but you know that ey Love, big hugs and kisses, xxxxxxxxxxxxx

kittyjessica: Girl ur hair looks healthy every time you post I wish my hair would get healthy I'm been putting coconut oil that I got at the store and some argan oil too but it seems not to work I wanna dye it blue soon but I'm scared it will fall off

Sassybanjo: How will you maintain the color on the extensions?

Kristin Gorden: Hi Lisa it's Kristin again. How much did you pay for the hair extensions? And is Remy human hair more expensive than just extensions that are wig type? I have hair that looks better very short. I just got it cut on Monday. And literally, 2/3rds of my hair is gray. I usually color my hair right after I get it cut. And that is black. Or soft black. After watching your videos of just letting go and letting your hair go gray....I am on the fence. Any suggestions?

Jennifer Mello: Very nice

Suzanne Campbell: I so wish I could wear my hair Silver. Yet trust me I look horrible. It makes me laugh because the ones with a lot of grey. Try to keep it up. To those who do not have grey yet would love to Rock it like a Rock Star. As you got this. Yet do not. The ones who have curly hair wants it straight. Ones with no curl. Want Curl. So yes life is funny sometimes... It’s honestly hard to get the exact color match with extensions for blonde. I’m so glad they have multi-color strands yet it is usually only in the synthetic extensions. . You amaze me with all, your different talents. My Daddy used to say he was Jack of all trades yet Master of none. I would have been ever thought to use those hangers to clip mine on. I have so many different hair extensions and hair wraps. Braids. OMG I could start a Store. Yet at different times blonde hair turns out with more Golden or Champagne colors. So be prepared. Also for all the Girls and Ladies who want blonde hair. Never buy any hair color by what the color looks like on the box. Very important. Look on the back or side of the box. The best I’ve found in Stores. If you are Dark Brown to Dark blondes. L’Oréal and Garnier. Nurtures color also, has some really Beautiful shades. You also can use the same hair color and yet get a different color. Yet they have recently came out with a New Hair color re over. Which removes hair color. It want bring back your Natural, color. Yet it will remove the applied color and make it refreshed so,you can recollect and have better results. Look for the Bleach free one. They carry it at Walmart,Walgreens and CVS,Target stores. As a women I know I am very sensitive about. My hair looking nice. A bad hair day can ruin my day. Sad yet I’m being real. Oh Lisa there is a temporary color. That Roux had that is so awesome. I do not know if they still carry it. Because it’s just been recently that there has been a surge of Women who want to stop coloring there hair and let it grow into their. Natural grey color. Yet I think you would love it. It’s called Moon Shadow. By Roux. Even the. Name sounds great. Have a Great day. Xoxoxo.

Alashea: Welcome to the club. You are beautiful Lisa.

Lynn Rice: That hairdresser should not have burnt your hair knowing there was a risk eventhough you wanted to go for it. She should have known she needed to refuse to touch your hair since she is the professional with experience even though you had a different notion. I have never colored my hair due to chemicals, etc. The smell grosses me out and there's a cancer risk. There are enough chemicals in everyday life we have to contend with as it is.

Karina: GREAT!!! you seem like such a nice person!

Jessie Salazar: Beautiful❤ you look like Celine Dion

Geminis L: You look so beutiful and young to be 49.. I’m your fan

Dawn Huff: I used fanciful years ago to tone yellow out of my blonde. Does it still have that old lady smell to it. The smell was really bad.

Kathy Munn: You are one smart woman!

Mia: Does the color rinse wash off after a couple of washes

DeMi DeMa: What color is in your real hair?

Erica Garza:

Stern Fan: :25 is how you looked on your wedding day. Skip to :35 (just two years later)...I wonder if it has anything to do with your husband wanting a divorce. I would hope he isn't superficial to let a thing like grey hair end his marriage, but I do wonder. I have a few grey hairs myself and am absolutely dreading the inevitable. I will probably cut my hair shorter just to lessen the maintenance of color upkeep (by having less hair to deal with), but I would keep coloring. All that grey on such a youthful and beautiful face looks odd (just keeping it real). I do feel bad about your divorce and wish you all the best. You are a beautiful woman who looks FANTASTIC for the age you claim to be (if it weren't for the grey, you'd have to pull out your license to prove you are the age you say you are). You seem to have a beautiful spirit as well. Trust that time will dull this heart-wrenching pain of going through a divorce. Trust.

mika lo: You're so pretty!

Moon Child: You really do look like Salma Hayek! Lovely!

Sandra B: The color isi beautiful! Yous should use professional cutting scissors, it will be easier to cut your hair than with the crafting scissors.

Elena: you're so beautiful omg

misshcp805: Omg you looked like Jennifer Lopez !

Person: Why'd you choose these over something like tape-ins
