Look at the hair is growing baby. We are seven months post chemotherapy and i'm so happy that my hair is growing back. I wanted to share this journey with y'all encourage the pink sisters. If you're going through this, your hair will grow back hey. My name is brittany. Welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, please consider subscribing and join the family. My last chemotherapy was october 21st of 2021 and my hair did not start going back to like december. I was kind of worried like is it coming back like? Why is it taking so long? This is weird y'all. Losing my hair from chemo was mentally draining, i mean stressful. Obviously i went to google. I was like how long is it gon na take my hair to grow back, because i was really concerned about it. I'Ll insert a picture where the peach fuzz started to come in and i'll put the date on the screen. Yo. Let me tell you, i was so happy when it started to grow back, but first thing i noticed was that my eyebrows were back in before the hair. On my head, like for chemo, i lost all my hair on my head, my eyebrows, my eyelashes, all the body hair everything. So when i noticed the eyebrows coming in, i was like why isn't the hair of my head coming? I documented my entire breast cancer journey from me finding out that i had breast cancer all the way to me ringing that bell and if you would like to see those videos i'll include a playlist here also it'll be in the description box check out those videos. Y'All, because i pour my heart and soul into those videos and for all my pink sisters, who have been rocking with me through this whole journey. How are y'all doing? I asked you all if y'all wanted to see the hair growth journey and y'all say yes, even though i saw this a long time ago. The video is here it's. Finally, here i took pictures of my hair every week and then after about a month, i started taking them monthly. Oh girl, i was so hurt after the last chemo my hair started to come in. I saw some peach fuzz and, like three weeks later girl it fell out. I was trying to do whatever i could to stimulate the hair growth, so i would put castor oil on my scalp. Also i was taking biotin supplements. I did ask the doctor if i could take the biotin. He said yes, so i took it but hey if you want to take it. Ask your doctor. Every week i was looking in the mirror like girl. Is it growing? Why isn't it growing like? Can i see any different, it was so hard to see the difference. So i'm so glad that i took pictures comment down below. Let me know how long it took for your hair to start growing in just so other pink sisters or anybody who's watching this video. They can also get you know a gauge from more people of how long it took if you're interested in seeing a video on how i style my hair. This, like short little situation right here. Let me know down in the comments, and i will be happy to film that video for y'all, if, i'm being honest, i'm still getting used to my hair being this short granted. I did go through this back in 2018, but this time i feel like it's even more of a struggle, because now i'm on camera, a lot more, i'm a full-time content, creator and consultant. So i'm on camera a lot. So i'm looking at myself a lot getting the hair to grow back was so important. I was like ready for this girl back like girl. Why does it take us alone? This is crazy. I really hope this video helps somebody easily ease in somebody's mind when they're going through this process. You know wondering if your hair is going to grow back, it's going to grow back and it's going to be beautiful. Rebecca H.: Thank you for sharing! You're hair looks lovely. I finished my last chemo June 1st 2022. My hair started growing back during treatment actually...I would say end of March. But it is a slow process. It's still Peach fuzz I'm patiently waiting.

Tina Seymour: I remember when mines came out in the shower I knew then I had breast cancer August of 21 bald but it grew it was so beautiful mind you I had a good grade of hair anyway ,it came back in its natural state baby hair for sure I wasn't use to it being short .I use tgin shampoo it was made by a black lady that has cancer it is the best shampoo ever!thank god for all my pink sister's

It's been almost five years since I underwent six rounds of chemo and 25 rounds of radiation (22 external and 3 internal). I lost all my hair and eyebrows. My hair started coming back after about 3 or 4 weeks after treatments ended. My eyebrows didn't come back completely. Washed my hair with baby shampoo. I have salt and pepper hair and most of the gray came back in a semi-circle around the back of my head. I always wore my hair in a short, permed cut. Now I'm wearing a short taper cut natural...still trying to get used to the look. I'm afraid to use any chemicals in my hair. I must say you still look beautiful no matter what style you rock. Continued prayers for you and your family.
