As you all know, i recently cut my hair and i figured i would show you how i've been styling it and some products i've been using welcome back to my channel. This is what my hair looks like, probably like a week and a half after i've done. This routine - and i was definitely in need for just kind of like a revamp. You know, got ta refresh my hair, so i actually recently texturized my hair like two weeks ago and i was on the fence about it. For obvious reasons, i've been natural for like 12 years, so i figured that since my lifestyle is so active and i really enjoy wearing my pixie cut straight, i just figured. I would try it out and if i didn't like it, it doesn't really matter because i can just grow my hair out and then no longer have the texturizer. Since i do put a decent amount of heat on my hair. I really love to do these protein treatments, they're, honestly, so easy and super cheap. As you can see, i just put two eggs and some conditioner in a bowl and mixed it up. I'M gon na have all the products in the description box in the order that i use them, but, as you can see, this is what my hair looks like. I feel like the texturizer took pretty well to my hair. I feel like my hair, which you'll see later on, it's still pretty curly, but it's a lot softer and i personally feel like it's more manageable in this short style. Now, eventually, when i grow my hair out, because i definitely probably will i don't know when, though my intention is to not have any texturizer in my hair at that point, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. I just love giving myself a scalp massage one, because it feels good and just to stimulate growth and yeah. So this is what my hair looks like right after i get out of the shower, there's absolutely no product in my hair i shampooed and conditioned, and all of that stuff which i'll show you the products that i use. But yes, i have on a towel. I am not naked, but this is what my hair looks like. As you can see, the curls are a little bit looser, but they're really soft, which i wish you all could feel it. These are the products that i've been loving by mazani. I just tried them on a whim honestly they're kind of expensive, which i'll have it all in the description box. So i don't try to use too much at one time, but there's a specific ratio that you have to use these products in. So i go ahead and do that what i've been loving about having shorter hair is that i don't have to use as much product as i was using before. So i'm definitely saving money in that regard, but i do have to kind of find new products that work with my hair in this stage. So if you have any recommendations, drop them in the comments, i honestly have been having so much fun with my new haircut. It has felt a little bit more like more work, ultimately, which i was expecting. That'S what everybody says short hair is more work, but in a way i kind of just i kind of like it, because it's allowing me to experiment with new ways to do my hair new products and just find new strategies that make my hair look. The way that i want it to look, go ahead and pick that out, which i got that from the beauty supply store and i'm going to let that air dry. For about an hour when i came back from running errands, i'm gon na go ahead and just pick out my hair. Now i have tried the molding method, where you use, like those strips of paper, wrap it around your hair and sit under a hooded dryer. For me personally, my hair is still really curly, and so when i tried that it was really frustrating because my hair wasn't laying down flat enough this process, i feel like it just works better for me, although i do use more heat after i blow dry, my Hair, basically, i use my flat iron and i go all around my hair and straighten my hair like this in the front, then i let my hair cool for about an hour as well, and then i'm going to go ahead and bump my hair at the end Or all the way through as you'll see, i've done the rest of my hair, so i figured, i would just show you how to do that in the front. It'S super easy and i find that when i bump my hair, it allows me to have more volume like a week later, or you know my style lasts longer. Ultimately and then i don't have to put as much heat on my hair throughout the week and the days to come, because i'm really not trying to use that much heat on my hair. But i also like for my hair to look a certain way and i'll show you some products like a pomade and a slick. Stick that i feel like has been able to help me not put that much heat on my hair, because it can just took your girl up okay. So this is the final look. Your girl was ready. Okay, she has some places to be people to see. I go ahead and use this comb just to kind of comb out the curls and make them look how i want them to look no more heat from this point on. Of course, i am going to go ahead and lay my edges just a little bit. You all know i like to keep it pretty natural for edges. I don't like to do the most, so i use got to be, but i use a very, very small amount and just kind of put it all the way on my hairline using too much of this product will make your edges like turn white and kind of Get really tacky, so you don't want to do that then, after that, i'm pretty much good to go. I'M just going to go ahead and continue styling it. How i would prefer this is the pomade i was talking to you all about. This is the truth. Like honestly, i can just put that on my hand and finger it through my hair to shape my hair in the direction that i want it to go. So love love, love that and then this lipstick is bomb. This is the final reveal. Let me know in the comments what you all think or if you have any questions about my texturizer or any of these products, i'm planning to do maybe a pixie hair q a so.
