Two Toned Frontal Pixie Wig Install | Papayahair

Welcome or welcome back to my channel, my name is ashram. If it's your first time here and for today's video we're gon na be doing this beautiful short pixie wig, so we're gon na be working with papaya. Here today they sent me, as you guys saw this um pixie wig, and this is what their packaging looks like. I absolutely love their packaging because i think it's very very cute, and i also think it's very very adorable. Now, in the package there is a fifteen percent discount so in case you're going to purchase next 15 that she does get you 15 off now the package does come with a wig cap, some bobby pins. It also came with this box of goodies um, basically hair clips, which i really really love, because my daughter is just gon na love these in her hair um. These ones i'm gon na, keep for myself, because i really really love them as well, and it also came with some lashes now for the wig. The weight comes secure in a ziploc bag and it also comes with a net over it. So i'm gon na go ahead and take that off now, as you guys can see, the side of the hair is curled and it has some plastic attachments just to keep the curls. You know during shipping now i'm gon na say that um. I love the hair. Quality felt really really good out the bag. So just some details on this wig - this is a transparent lace. 180 density does come with adjustable bands unprocessed virgin hair and it comes with around three clips now. The only thing that i didn't realize is that this is a side part, so it's a tea party wig. So you can't really change the part, but i didn't actually realize that it's a side part. I was trying to figure out why only one part of the week was curled. I did try to bleach the knots and that didn't turn out good and i just ended up ruining the curls. So at this point i was just trying to add some finger waves to the wig and i was just using um, conditioner and water. This is what the wig looked like after i dried it down with my you know: homemade finger curls, i mean finger waves, so i'm gon na be installing the wig and i'm actually gon na be using pump it up spritz instead of glue today, just because we're Going for a softer hold so um, i'm gon na go ahead and start applying it onto the lace. Now one thing about this lace: it didn't match her complexion. We had to change that, but in regards to the way that it melted, it definitely melted easily. I didn't have to go over it like a bunch of times for it to stick down, and i really love that so i'm just using some low or medium heat on the lace and just pinning the pre-done baby hairs out of the way i'm going to go Ahead and repeat the same steps on the other side just start spraying down my pumped up spritz blow dry on low or medium heat, making sure that i paint all the hair out off the way. Okay, you guys so this was my first time actually working with a pixie wig, so i was kind of you know scared of how it would turn out so right now. I am just tying down the lace just so we can get that extra melt which really didn't need, because it was already nice and snug. I'M gon na go over that with the dryer. I can just because i want everything to be nice and smooth for when we, you know, try to do any edges or anything like that. Okay, so now that we have gotten, you know the melt, basically out of the way i'm gon na start working on the lace and on the edges. I'M gon na take a razor comb, just cut the pre-made um edges out of the way. Now, if the knots you know were bleaching readily, this would have looked so much better, but i was still you know happy with how it came out. I'M gon na go ahead and start cutting off the excess lace because, as you guys can see, this unit comes with a lot of excess lace that we definitely need. So i'm going in with a scissors and also a eraser blade. Just so, we can go ahead and cut off everything that, as i said, it's just not necessary so back to working on the edges, i'm just going in with the razor comb, cutting it as short as i want it, and then i'm gon na go in with Some wax and try to lay the edges or the baby hairs as flat as possible. Try to you know jazz them up a little bit because the thing with pixie wigs for me, especially in this cut, i just feel like they look too wicky. So i was trying to avoid that look, try to give it um something of a more modern feel and more modern vibe. So that's what i'm trying to do with the baby hairs. They were a bit stubborn, i'm not sure if it's because i you know tied them back for so long, but they were definitely a bit stubborn and they weren't, leaning as easily as i wanted them to, but eventually they did kind of you know lay the way That i wanted them to. I did three edges on the other side, so i'm just repeating the same steps here, um parting out a small amount of hair as thin as i could get it with it still looking. You know like it's there and you guys see how easily it flicks back. That'S what i was talking about when i was saying the hair is a little bit stubborn, but you know i had some good wax and that's all you need when you're trying to leave some stubborn baby hairs, i'm just sweeping them normal, and this is what it Was looking like once i was finished doing that one thing i love you guys can see is how easily the hair combed through. I didn't have a lot of shading just like a really really minimal um. I was starting to regret the fact that um i got the hair wet because the curls would have looked so beautiful here, but i honestly, i thought it was a center part. I didn't realize it was a side part until we actually put the wig on, but this is the finished look. This is how it turned out. Um. I'M actually really shocked that it came out this beautiful. I love how it turned out. It was definitely giving growing vibes, it was definitely giving mature. You know business women, classy kind of kind of vibe and the finger waves that i did. They were kind of still there in the back. So i love that as well. All the information about this unit will be in the description box.
