Sqhairbands! Unwrapping The New Summer Designs! | The New Taz Sqhairband! | Styling Tips!

Hey everybody welcome back to tassa's wig closet at wig studio, one i am excited for today, because i get to have some fun with my very favorite wig accessory. I featured these in just nearly every single video review that i do in the styling segment. These are an absolute mess for everywhere. These are square bands. I have several new designs here. I'M going to show you today and we're going to do a giveaway of let's see. I have four of these to give away today, so stay tuned for all of the fun coming up. She created this product. This is a hinged hair band, so the square bands have hinges like sunglasses. They can hold the hair back, just like sunglasses um. What they have are these wonderful rubber teeth on the underside of the band which keeps it in place and the hinges give a custom like fit and feel so. It'S super comfortable to wear. So, what's not to love about this, it's portable, it's beautiful with all of the fashionable designs. I always like to call it fashion meets function, because these are so practical and i don't think when she created this product. She knew just how essential it was going to be for us wig wearers. I was introduced to this product years ago, um, because i was looking for an accessory that would stay in my wig and be secure. Um hold it into place without moving around because we already have something on our head, and i didn't want my headband to be too tight or to be uncomfortable, because then i would be uncomfortable. So when i found these i was just over the moon. So these rubberized teeth are very gentle on wigs, yet they hold the hair into place exactly um. I always tease that, and i'm going to do this one day keep saying i am. I am going to apply this in my wig and then go do cartwheels out in the front yard. I love these for the form and the function, and i have to have one in just every color. I'M a true collector of my square bands, because i wear them constantly and you'll see these featured a lot in my styling segments because it keeps the hair out of the eyes, but it's so doggone cute when you style with them. So this is one of the new designs that just came out. It'S a beautiful giraffe print. Isn'T that lovely? I love it. Um julie reached out to me several weeks ago and, and she says taz i made this band and i thought of you for a couple of reasons. She said this band is so classy and yet fun um, which reminded me of you. Thank you, julie, um, and then she said that the giraffe hails from tanzania africa um, and that was just a fun little play on words that tanzania tazz, you know, has all the letters in there. She says it's a no-brainer. Can i name this band the taz band and i said absolutely so. This is the giraffe print named taz and you can find it in the square band's website under animal prints. I'M just thrilled about this. Look at that. It'S kind of a translucent look, not too heavy of a pattern and it has the beautiful giraffe spots all over it. So as soon as i got this band from her, i was so excited, so i immediately i immediately wore it everywhere. Let'S try it on. So what i'm wearing here this this wig is called bonbon by belletress and it's um, it's a short little beach wave shattered beach, wave bob just perfect for summer, and especially in the summer, i never want to be without a square band. I'Ve got these kind of, like my cheater glasses, so i can read. I have these stashed everywhere, so i have the a lot of them right here, so i can use for styling um. I have some put in my purse. I have a couple in my car. You name it. I'Ve got these things around because when i need it, i need it, but when i intentionally want to style with it, i get it just right before i leave the house, so this is just one way. I wear it so easy. So what i do is just put the arms see these little arms. They have these rubberized arms on there. That will help keep it in place as well, so just put it above the ear place it behind the ear and then gradually move it up to the desired level. Okay and then, when i get it exactly where i want it, i just give it a little bit of a press, that'll kind of set the teeth down into the hair, and it's not going anywhere. I can't tell it's on, but it's not going anywhere. How unique is that to be so secure uh, yet you can't feel it right, so this is just a great way to wear it in the summertime because it keeps the hair out of the eyes. If you have some task work that you're doing some gardening um. It'S hot out, you can just bring the hair right off of the face, so it's super functional and i always love to pull out just a couple little pieces here and there especially love to show off my lace front wigs and then i i just fluff up The hair a little bit behind the band and that just sort of sets the look effortless easy, quick, perfect. I love it and i love this band julie. Thank you. So much pull out a couple, little more pieces here, just absolutely adorable! Isn'T it and the thing about animal prints too, is that you can mix and match those with any if they just absolutely go with anything they're pretty neutral. This is miranda. Light typically has a little bit of a lesser density than the regular uh miranda, but you know what it's still a long style, so you may want to put it up and do some summer styling if you plan to be out in the heat. So, let's try with square bands so, like i said we're going to come in from the front position, the arm behind the ear and then gently move up pressing it down pulling up some hair around it and then pulling out gently just a couple of pieces. This is this is so gentle on wigs when you go to remove the square bands, there's none of the pulling and ripping that can cause damage to your wig. So it's just gorgeous all the way around, isn't it. So this is a cute way to wear it. It keeps the hair out of the eyes and it shows off this ear to ear lace front on this beautiful style, but maybe this just isn't enough getting it off the face is going to keep you cooler for sure, but maybe you need to do a little More so how about just do a ponytail anytime? You can get the hair off of the neck. It'S ultimately going to be um a better experience, and we can always pair this with a hat. That'S the thing about square bands they're! Never in the way! So you can always use additional accessories with the square bands. So if you wanted to do a hat here, i just have a standard like baseball cap. It easily goes right over those square bands and if you wanted to do just a sun hat, if you're just going to be out and needs a break from the sun, again very easy to pair with any kind of any kind of hat or accessory. And what i love about it too again. This goes to the function of it. So if i wanted to double up on these square bands, i could easily do that. That'S a fashion statement in itself. You'Ve got the double bands there. Both are secure both offer a little bit of a different pop of color right. How fun you can still wear your sunglasses yay. So there's your sunglasses and if you want, you can still just pop those right up there. On top of your head, the square bands are out of the way. What is not to love about these now. You know why i've collected them in every color. So speaking of colors, let's move on to show you the brand new colors that just came out this summer by square bands, and these are the ones that we'll be giving away. So i'm going to go ahead and show you all the new designs, uh that just came out this spring by square bands. The first one is a lime green, like a solid lime, green band. Doesn'T that just look juicy and delicious kind of has a citrusy appeal to it now this one has five rows of crystals, so you have a little bit of glam a little bit of bling there to spice it up. It would go with any color hair and just give you a little pop of color, i like to match my square bands, sometimes with the colors in my top to coordinate it that way very, very cute. The next one is a periwinkle band design. Solid periwinkle periwinkle is like a light. Blue purple, like a dusty light, bluish purple, this one also features five rows of glamorous crystals, each of them packaged each one of them will be delivered along with their your own personal travel bag. A mesh travel bag that'll keep them from getting scratched and you can just take them with you wherever you want to the beach just put them down in your purse right in this mesh travel bag. The next design is a coral, a solid coral which is a light pink orange color, and this one is just a solid band with no crystals, but look at that. I love this color. I mean i think i have some coral in my top. I might that would look really cute with this hair color and this top choice. Wouldn'T it love that so that's the coral one and then the last one that i'll be giving away today. Is this beautiful, pink band? Now, if you look closely, you will see the signature, ribbons, red ribbons pink ribbons, and this is symbolic and represents breast cancer awareness. I think breast cancer awareness is this month, but i'm probably not going to get this posted until july. But again this is going to be one of the giveaway pieces and even if the breast cancer awareness is not um is not something that you actively support or have a history with it's just a beautiful band. All these colors, so you've got the fuchsias and you have a really light pink. Then you have a bubblegum pink. It just looks like a cute little band with ribbons, but julie does support the breast cancer awareness. I think we all do especially us here in the hair loss community, because so many women in this community have had an experience with cancer breast cancer and have had their chemotherapy treatments have brought them to wigs. So this is wonderful, and this is the fourth band for the giveaway. Now this band is not for the giveaway. This is going to be my personal band. I love it, so it just looks like a rock star. Doesn'T it i mean, look at those crystals all the way along the spine of this band, as well as on the arm. This one was fashioned and named after rockstar patty uh patti has a youtube channel, she's, just a fantastic lady um. She wears wigs. Sometimes she also has beautiful natural hair, it's more of a lifestyle and beauty channel she's, just an amazing person, and she this she inspired the design of this rock star black band. Let me put it on. I don't have one like this yet so i'm really happy to have this, but yeah. Can you imagine how cute is that if you just want to kick it up a notch, this is the ultimate, the ultimate glam you can see wearing this at holiday parties as well. You just get that real sparkle going there. So, thank you patty for inspiring this beautiful band. So the last thing i want to cover in this video is the sizing of the square bands. So technically the square bands come in three sizes size, one two and three now size. One is going to fit up to 95 percent of us out here. It'S made for an average density. Here, it's adjustable. You know with these with these arms they kind of adjust in and out a little bit. So there's a little bit of give there it's very comfortable for a wide variety of range of thickness of hair and heads shapes and sizes. Now the size 2 would be appropriate if you have the super thick hair or a larger circumference that might be more appropriate for you now a size three. You can't really order off of the site for a size. Three, a size three are: is they're really reserved for those with a large large circumference, a sort of a larger head overall, and if you know this about yourself, i would urge you to contact squarebands.com and discuss size three with them, but, like i say, i've always Ordered a size one and even in the thickest wigs i get wonderful support.
