Hey everybody welcome back to tessa's white closet at wig studio one today i am going to select and present two cute little summer styles that i've never reviewed before from my audience back here. We'Re going to talk about both of them in this double header review. Coming up, these featured wig styles were purchased with my own funds from wig studio one. I will attach all of the links to the products below this video. You all have been asking me about these two styles for a really long time, as you see them sitting back here in my audience, and i just kept shuffling them back in the lineup just because some newer styles have taken priority recently, but they're super cute summer. Looking styles, that i want to make sure that i get out to you. I have not reviewed these before the first one is a cute little textured asymmetrical, pixie cut by raquel welch, any guesses. If you are raquel welch pixie fan uh, you may know the answer right away. This one is a legacy style by raquel welch called cinch. It'S in the color vanilla, which is ss23. This style has been out quite some time. I'Ve always been meaning to take a look at it. I think it's really interesting and cute. It'S just an open cap style by raquel welch. So that does keep the price point down. I think it was a round if i'm not mistaken, around 149 and when you catch it on sale, it can be much less than that. Let'S take a look at this color real quick. Have you all seen the vanilla by raquel welch? This is only available on their fiberlite fiber wigs and it's just a very cool platinum rooted, platinum blonde. So what i'm seeing is some medium ash blonde. I am seeing some cool platinum and all of that on a brown root. What makes this style so striking and likable, i think, lies in the dimensions, the sculpting of this style. So it's a nice asymmetrical pixie, but it's got a lot of texture and layering. So looking at the front, then, on the left hand, side you're going to see about a three inch piece off of the front, but on the right hand, side it's five inches. So that's going to stretch just above my jaw line there. My face is fairly short right around six and a half inches from hairline to chin. So if you know your own dimensions there, you can kind of know where that's going to hit you around the face and then in the back right around a four inch crown. I love a four inch crown. I think that's really a desirable length to get a nice silhouette back there, so you've got a nice, rounded silhouette and then that tapers down into a two inch nape. So this is a completely open cap. It'S very very lightweight easy to wear just a shake and go everyday kind of style. It has just a moderate amount of permatease you'll find most of the permatease on the top and at the crown just to help it hold its shape. Cover up the wefting. Give you the ability to style it a little bit now, if you're, not a fan of that asymmetrical piece or if you don't want the asymmetry every single time. You can just hide it away behind the ear and there you've got a standard pixie. You could actually cut or trim it as well. Okay, so i have another one to show you and that one is drum roll, please down here on uh the letter p. Let'S take a look now. This is the gabor's perfection in the color uh soft shades. Sun kissed beige, so this color is just a combination of some beiges and some icy platinum and all of that on a very light subtle root. So here's perfection by gabor. I think it has a of something sophisticated about it. Yet it's kind of fun and flirty too, i think that's because of the wavy fringe, so you've got some waves that are sprinkled around the face. Super cute that front piece is around six and a half inches so outstretched. Actually it's probably a little. I can always use my face as a guide - it's probably a little shorter than that, but you have something to work with and frame the face and i always think that's so flattering plus. Then you add in some of this waviness for some cute flirty looks there's about six inches off of the crown too. So that's going to give you a little bit of a wedge back and that tapers down to a 1.75, and i think it really does a nice service to this style by adding in a lace front and a mono part it's on the left. So, let's take a look: gabor makes a beautiful lace front, it's been a while, since i've seen a gabor lace front, you can see that the knots are fairly fine. It does extend back all of the seams are obscured. It'S a soft look from the hairline. It blends into my skin tone and then you've got the monofilament there for a little added touch of realism, and you just see how baby fine each fiber is, and you know it has some movement, even though it's really fine like this now, based on the crown, How it meets the nape and how it plays into the sides you're going to get that angular. Look when in reality it's just the longer fringe, there's some permatease all around that crown top. So you could definitely definitely get some volume there, but it's not so much permatease that if you wanted to wear a little smoother, if you want to just use the heat from your hands to kind of tamp that volume on the sides, you absolutely could me i, Like lots of volume, i think it's really cute. So if you like that volume, just take your fingers and just sort of pick and fluff your way to some flirty layering and some height, i need all the height. I can get next up some side by side. Comparisons again, not because these are similar styles, just so that you can get a look at them from all angles. I have my bob and my lob and my beach wave but have struggled finding a shorter summer length for my rounder face and features. I need some length and some volume to balance out the full face but not another bob. Going to take a look at Cinch. Face shape and size are hard to factor in for shorter hair.
Jan Tremblay: I love Cinch! I don’t care for a full wig, so the nape is removed and the wig is then a full coverage topper with my hair blended in the bottom. I also have the long side trimmed to match the other.
Lynn Russell: As a person just beginning to wear a wig, which (average size head) short wigs would you suggest that have less hair/volume and perma-tease that may feel more normal? I am used to having minimal hair and when putting on my Raquel Sparkle, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of hair. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
