**WATCH IN HD!!**

Hey babes!

I loved sharing some information about my new extensions. I answered some questions I received on my Instagram recently about them!

They were done at Hair Fusion Bar in Chicago, IL. Other locations include Mokena, IL and also in New Jersey.

Some info I forgot to include: *Each bundle of hair includes 25 individual extensions!*

*You are not able to put your hair in a high ponytail, only low or medium!*

STILL HAVE A QUESTION? LEAVE ME A COMMENT!**

Hey, what's up you guys, it has been a hot minute since I've been here on my channel. If you are new, welcome if you're not welcome back so I wanted to get back in my youtube and I thought the perfect way to do that was to talk about my new head of hair that I got recently. So, as you know, I had a pixie cut and I've had that for about two and a half years. It was always planting blonde. It was great, I loved it. It was totally me super edgy, but thought it was time for a change. I was craving being able to like just do different things with my hair. I was really craving some color in my hair as well, so I thought the perfect way to do it. I loved shoulder length hair. I obviously just love short hair. I think it fits my face very well long. Hair will get there eventually, maybe yeah. Today. I just wanted to talk about my experience with my carrots and extensions. I just want to talk about pricing and just my experience with them. I have very fine hair, so I thought maybe someone out there who's exploring options. What kind of extensions they want to get? This would be a good video just to learn about them and my experience with them so yeah, let's get into it. Okay, so much I'm an absolute best not to blab on and on all in terms of this short and sweet. So, first, what are they? The tech people name is the great links. Thermal Fusion care, technibond extensions. Great links is just the brand. It is grow. Human hair, great links - I'm not sure you like this the best, but it is like top of line yeah. I went to hair beauty bar and that's in Chicago threaten hard Chicago River North. So this is just the hair that they have to use um, which I'm not man, that's the best, okay. So actually, let's back up a little bit, I asked on my Instagram last night. I asked just some of my friends. Send me questions like send me. You know anyone just if you're curious, and so I got asked just and better like how they work, how they're applied doesn't hurt it stuff like that, so they're applied for. Basically, it's like a keratin tip and keratin is like a natural. I think it's like a protein in your hair. She just kind of puts it underneath, like she section off my hair, she puts my hair on top and then kind of like wraps it around and heats the keratin box of, but this heating tool and um. She just puts heat on it and then the other side heat on it and the hair is then attached to your real hair. So really simple: there are different sizes, the small ones are gon na, be just around the crown your head and then there's like medium sized keratin tips and then there's like the larger ones that go like underneath and really just because you're gon na have a density. Finish you can't really see in the smaller ones you want to keep on top, so they're not visible. So when I speak, did it hurt? No, it did not hurt at all like and the thing is people hear heat and they kind of freak out. Let go up in the air, no, no Catherine, the one who did my hair at Hershey bar. She assured me no there's no damage heat, it only going. It'S only applying to the keratin tips, so yeah it took me. I was in the salon that day for six hours, but two hours of it what they were color matching my hair to make sure the extensions matched exactly so it actually only took four hours to do the actual, applying of them and cutting. So it's not too bad, so I have four bundles in my hair. We were going to do five, but we decided to just go look for because when I was growing up my pixie, the natural things I had was in the back, so where we really wanted to focus, it was just the top. We wanted to give some volume and obviously bit from where my pieces were shorter, so that it all over singling I got asked how long to be last here to bar extensions last three or five months really just depends on your hair growth and how well you Take care of them my hair kind of goes fast, so hopefully they last me a long time, but I think I'll be sick of the blue. Everything wants so so just how to care for them in general, on the bonds, you can't put direct heat. So if you want to straighten, if you want to curl your hair, if you want to blow dry, just really try to blow dry with medium heat towards the root of your hair and then obviously you can't like clamp the bond in a straightener. You can't like curl it all the way up to roots. You just really need to keep at least like an inch or two away from your group. This would be safe. Another big rule is, you know, serums, oils or creams like on the actual bond. It will just start to break down the bond faster than you want. Obviously, so every part that had basically, I kind of had to swap it out for products that were safe, which they do sell like frizz products and like styling products there. So that's good and if you do want to use like a cream base serum, like you know anything that you do have you just you can use it at the root. Obviously I don't have much length. So it's harder for me to use my old products, because I'm really only working with like here and you just have to really be careful not to get it on the bond, and with that you can't condition the group of your hair. It is something to get used to for me. I was kind of like oh, I can't condition, but really when you condition your hair, it's it's really geared towards the ends of your hair anyway, to smooth them out and whatever. So it's not only that big of a deal, but that is a big no-no. Oh and another thing you can't use normal brushes, so you have to get like a boar bristle brush. They. I bought this at the salon. It'S the Great Lengths brush. So it's safe to completely comb her hair um. You need to come here at least three times a day which not a problem, because I have straight hair like I like to straighten it so really too much for me there. So a big question I got was um: do they damage your hair? I mentioned earlier that the heat applying them actually does not do any damage, but a big thing is taking them out. People are questioning all wool, because there's a lot of damage cause your hair to fall out, but that's actually not true at all. I mean, at least for the salon that I went to. This was a big thing for me, because I already have very fine hair. Very thin hair, so I didn't want to get these extensions. You know to make up for my grown out pixie and then, when I get them out my hair, it's just this uneven and pieces fell out. So I hear a future bar the way they remove. Keratin extensions is with alcohol, so they just sit there with their hands and alcohol and literally just sit there and rub it and rub it and make sure that it comes down, but really doesn't take that long. I asked myself she said it takes about an hour to get a full head of extensions out like without using really harsh tools. So I don't know my other songs. Don'T do this. She said that they were one of the only ones in Chicago that don't use tools to get extensions out, so I absolutely trust her. I think that my hair is gon na, be fine when they come out of this. So okay. So now I'm pricing, a lot of people were curious, how much it cost so much this cost. That is probably one of the only cons I mean it is on the price you decide, obviously you're getting real hair. It looks like it's growing out of my head. Like you literally cannot see the bond, so I knew I had this expense coming up for quite a while, because I figured on my pixie since probably like the winter. So I could save my money for this, but is I just know so in my head? I have four bundles like I said it was $ 360, a bundle if you go longer, obviously you've got the shortest one. But if you're going like long like to your waist or you know they come in like 12, 14, 16 and 18 inch, I believe you maybe even longer so I see I got the 12 inch. They were 360 a bundle and then it's like you know the application they had to color my hair. So altogether the price was $ 2,300 and I know that's like oh ye, but this was something that I mean if I never had cut my hair, I believe maybe would never got extensions. Maybe I would have I don't know but yeah. This is something that I thought was necessary and I mean I just wanted to have nice hair. You know, I know, that's not everyone's means to do it, but like at that salon they offer other things like, you know, put the tape ins and they offer just like. I don't even know crazy stuff that I never even heard of, but, like I was saying, I totally trust her like. I trust that they're gon na take care of my hair, so I don't think that the tape is would do any damage to be there. Those are just a little bit more upkeep. Actually, you have to go, get them free tape like every four to six weeks. I believe so um these. Don'T you need to touch them further. If I want so yeah, that's a good thing, I'm just so impressed and cons to wrap this video up real, quick, so cons. You can't really switch your parts, so she asked me like weird: it usually part I like spur on the side, I'm not really a middle part girl, not a big deal, it's not for like what I'm getting like for this beautiful hair. I have now that I didn't have before, like I don't mind like, I was I'll, keep the part okay, but you can you're able to. She starts to finger widths away from your part. So if you want a middle part, you can start the extensions you know here. I wanted to start up as high as possible because I have very thin hair. Like I said I want it to be full on the top. Another comment is just the maintenance. Like I said it takes a lot of getting used to. I ended up going in there today just to buy their products because it was like it's it's hard. It really is, but I think it's worth it. I mean it's a sacrifice, but CROs I mean the obvious to get your hair. However, you want, if you have the means to do this, you can change your look. However, you want to look like in 3 months. I can have hair done to my waist completely different colors, I mean and have it look like a Parata, my head and another big Pro is the no damage I mean. I can't speak for other salons, I'm very confident that my hair will be healthy at the end of this, so I just had a really good experience there, because I felt like they really really cared about. My vision, like I came into this picture with this blue. Shoulder cut really sexy haircut and they were able to make it happen for me, and even we had a lot of trouble with the colouring like my platinum blonde would not be the colour of the extensions, but they sat there with me and they made it worse. Yeah I had a really really great just overall experience. I can go in there anytime with any questions. Any problems I have I could just I could just stop in there and it will help me out so so yeah. I guess this wraps up my first video back in about a year, sorry about that yeah. If I miss anything, you guys are wondering about. Please just leave it in the comment box. I will be active as much as I possibly can on YouTube from now on. I plan on being very, very consistent. So obviously, if you are in the Chicago area - and you are in the market to get some extensions, give Katherine a call here, future bar okay have one in Mokena Illinois as well. So if you're a little farther, you can check them out yeah. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you guys soon. Bye guys. Oh we're back. The tapings are a cheaper option and Oreo. So just some pros and cons for you are you good.

Yulissa Cardenas: Great info! Been looking into extensions !

Tiffany Kullgren: Hi, thank you for the video, your hair looks awesome! I also have very fine thin hair. What length did you buy? I have my apponitment next week and I ordered 12 inch, but I think I should have ordered 12 inch?
