This haircut is perfect for anyone who is wanting to look younger. For the bangs, you will cut down and slowly go to each side. This will make it piecey. After you blow dry the hair until 80%, you will want to use a medium round brush to start to give it volume. This way it also gives it some poof oval look. This gives the pixie a softer look to it. After it is fully dry, you put the hair dryer on low to soften and make the hair more fluffy. Then with a comb, you will double check to see if you need to add more texture. Then with a wala brush, you will brush the hair to back comb the hair. That way it gives the hair cut the fullness. You will want to make sure that you blend the sides to the top part and use that as a guide point for you and the rest of the haircut. In this video, you will see RaDona do one of her over 60 hairstyles. This is a short pixie hairstyles for older women. The key to this haircut is a lot of texture! Make sure at first you cut it so that you have a little length to play with so don’t cut it too short and use the point cut technique to make sure that it has a variety lengths. For styling products, RaDona uses her “magic products” Monat. The products she uses are unique to your type of hair and haircut. For the products that RaDona will use for this haircut, will make sure that the thin, fine hair looks thick and full. The first product RaDona uses is the Monat’s Root Lifter. You will especially put it in the top and back so that it will give volume and help the hair in the back stand up. Then RaDona uses Monat’s Moose. ( make sure you only use one pump. This moose is all natural and super concentrated. If you put in more than one pump, your hair will feel super heavy and have too much product in it.- one squirt is all you need). RaDona then uses Monat’s Thickening Spray. This spray will help make the hair look and feel thicker than it actually is. After adding these, you will start to blow dry her hair. After drying her hair, RaDona uses 2 drops of Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil. You will put it all over her hair to shine and condition her hair. Then RaDona uses Monat’s clay ( this is the perfect substitute for Distortion). This gives it more of a spike look and makes it thicker. This way you can manipulate the hair to how you want it.

Okay, guys, so this is Beverly she is. She tell me on YouTube and I am so excited she come down here. Um. She is in Salt Lake, your where is it called tinertia tailors belt. That'S right, um anyway. I so glad that she announced it. We just colored it um blonde. She likes blonds president loves blonde. She loves messy spiky fun. She'S super friendly, like she's, had tons of different cups colors all about good stuff, so we're gon na make her right is 20. Yes, Celica. Her great is awesome. So I'm glad she came so I'm gon na show you her head. Okay, she wants this just kind of when we dry it we're just gon na kind of dry it up and around and messy so um. I am going to take a little bit off of this length. I'M just gon na point cut into it. Okay and it's fun. She has some like waves. I guess you could say it's not real curl right. You know. My hair is just straight straight right, cuz! It'S like, we should have a little bit of curl right. It just looks like it has some bend a little bit back through here and but yeah then won't texture, the heck out of it. I got ta love that battle that will get us messy in yeah. Super fun to that a great source. Okay, so Beverly, your seamstress and you've got an Etsy yeah I sell on Etsy. What do you guys are one thing anything that we will include Beverly a lot of people yeah out of stage, so yep makes some little things for my granddaughter, a little dresses all the time. I bet they love that yeah she likes frilly. So I'm constantly making something: that's really poofy. She likes oh yeah, the three-year-olds love that okay, so you guys can see I'm not going right up to her scalp because she wants movement back here. So you can see that we're leaving this a little bit longer. But I'm point cutting into that and then of course, will you know, go back through and really texture this haircut, because that's that's! What we want is all that movement in there and just going on a little trip to Vegas. So we've got to get it all done up, go soak in some rays, I'm tired of the cold weather right. I know it is I'm ready for some yesterday it was nice, it's nice this week and then we're close to get storms again. I don't like summit ermand yeah, so hopefully so you can see I'm just kind of pulling this up to see where we're at here. Oh there's, some over from that side, that's not quite as short, so we'll go get that in a minute. Okay, oh man. That'S gon na be nice to have off yeah. We will so I'm coming on this side. I just I guess they just hold this out from the head and you'll just want to keep it out for his mom. You know what I mean like I said she wants em outta here, so make sure it's long enough that we can like hold it out and just put some fun product in it, make it stick up: yeah, okay, so I'm gon na hold this out and that Length I'm just going to cut into just a little bit. It'S like. I say we want a little length to play around with back here to move around okay, you guys can see artists and just cutting into it. Like you know, make those different links. I mean you, obviously don't want it like a super long piece, but really, if you just cut into this piece it out best for messy messy fun, hair yeah, easy, that's the word I like right, but then this skis done all day. They have to like you're ready fingers through it. No, that is like with my product, you'll notice like tomorrow. When you wake up, it really is easy to just pull it out and go so cuz. It'S not sticky. You know it's not a sticky products. Okay, so of course you're gon na you know hold your fingers out here. Kind of check lanes make sure seems like it's a little long here, so I'm just gon na come in and take oh, you can see see. I cut right here see that little corner right there. I just missed that. So when I said it's a little long, there's a little corner there, it's funny when you, when you start cutting you'll, be able to see you know you hold out those those links. You'Ll be like oh yep, there's a there's a little section: okay, so she's happy longer, you know kind of off to the side, but we're gon na take it short and fun, and so it's really easy for her and then that way I mean, if you want To go longer in between a haircut, you know so any dryness that you is feeling yeah. It was really yeah we're getting just a little dry. It'S just crazy how the weather drives it out is so crazy. Okay, now we're leaving this over the ear, a tiny bit right. We talked about that or doing a cut. I remember you saying over-the-air: do you mean the hair over the air or cut over the ear a little bit because of the glasses yeah, because she hasn't glasses and some of you guys out there, girls obviously like so so, do you want to cut? Did you mean over the ears yeah not having narrow variety or there? Sorry? No, you are good. You are just fine. I just I like to clarify whether it takes me a few times or not. You know what I mean just so we're on the same same wavelength here: okay, so holding this! Oh. Can I take that off because we're taking that length so we can just have it kind of wispy around her face. Nefi, okay! So come up this way, so she doesn't have the glasses bump. That really does I'm glad you actually brought that up, because so many ladies will ask me about that: yeah they will they'll be like. Oh, this is my glasses. It drives me none you know. So I just hold her ear down with my cone. Okay gon na come in this way. Oh gosh, sorry and it didn't poke. You right, I know come on. Okay, I didn't feel like it did. I should I make it sure so, coming this way and taking a little length off of that area, since it was longer she's gon na take a little bit of that off. It'S probably my kids doing them fun over there. Okay, I'm gon na come up through this area because that scene that corner just gon na kind of chop into that. Okay, see that see how they're short long short long. You want to do that. Anybody that wants like a messy fun fun, look. We'Ve short among shortly long, like I say, not long enough to make it like, obviously too too much. You know what I need, but definitely you mix that up. Okay, she wants to drive it this way. Of course we hold down that ear, so we can cut around. Then you want to make sure back here connects with that. Also. She don't want that long back here and then short just just make sure that connects. Oh and, of course, that I always say I can't wait foot before and after I kept telling her why she was processing my eyes. Okay, you know you can kind of see how that's a little bulky just gon na bring my shears in here. Take the hairs out okay, now what I'm gon na do is just come through here check all this front, so I'm just gon na pull in the top up, see you guys there needs to be anymore little chunks taken out the words I use chunk, chunking it Out, that's my words yeah that cowlick back here is gon na be nice. You know lift that baby up in the problem. We all have at least one. I think yes, I agree absolutely. Okay, now the begging area, you can just breathe my shears. In fact, I mean come on the side enjoy. Sorry, yes, II may not happen to deal with that site. It'Ll be easy, it was mess it up and push it forward. Hey Tex, crazy, dude. Yes, this is the best part. I think we have short hair or whatever you want volume. You know what this is like the best, so you come in about a half inch up quarter of an inch up and then what I like to do is I like to open and shut. Sometimes you can come in and just do one, but with this messy haircut I like to go one two, three one, two three just because it gives it if you can see that gives it texture all the way out. That makes sense. So it's not just in one spot the texture, so I just open and shut my shears as I bring them out on the hair. So I just move my shears and obviously back here too, because she wants this to stand up and just be messy, as it can seem on the side. Okay, then I'm gon na do this. I always like to lift up. Of course, this is falling forward, but I like to lift up to see if there's enough texture check the sides okay, so I'm going to chunk a little bit out with this razor. If, if you got a new razor, don't push her like a big old chunk. So just you know so just give it a little bit more chunky pieces through here. I don't know, and that's too much more with their bangs, I'm gon na dry up first and then, if we feel like we need to to add some more than we shirt a little bit. So this is what's fun with the razor to him really curly hair. I wouldn't raise her, but with her with hers, real you know more straight, it will give little tiny short pieces through here without cutting the length. You know what I mean so when you're walking a lot or a movement, that's it's good to use all right. All right now root lifter. Obviously, if we want it to stand up, we definitely want some route with it and then, when we're done Beverly, if you feel like you need to go shorter, we can go short. Okay, then one sort of the Moxie nine to five moves. Rub it in your hands real well before you good good. Before you apply it and, like I said before, totally use one squirt of that stuff. You don't need more okay and then some thickening spray, the thickening spray, is amazing. Do not use a lot just I'm serious just spring that I just kind of push this down with slow. That'S it! That'S all you want, but it really makes a huge difference now. What I'm going to just turn on my flower? I want you guys to see like before it is the epic brush to like how much that root. Lifter helps that texture all so. The combination is awesome. It'S just it's standing up so so about 80 percent dry and then you're going to go back and forth with the epic brush. Now, of course, the oil couple drops of oil and now, for this see how it kind of it's standing up the ends are bent. You can see that so what I do is I just come through here and I just hit the fire and grab it the hair and just pull straight out. So wherever the hair is, I just go straight out from the head, so the Flatiron that I'm using is a GHD Platinum, my absolute favorite. They are more money, but I'm telling you what it well if it heats in less than my like, he was like ten seconds. It beats that yet it actually will turn off if it's been on too long. So you don't leave it on your counter and have an issue. The other thing is, it actually can feel the porosity of your hair. So it's not gon na even burn your hair. You know so I love it and, and it actually will do what its gon na do, and I feel like so much that it plays such a huge part in the way your hair stays for the day too. Sometimes I'd have flat irons that I will use, and then, by that day you know, but it this just holds it's just such a great flat iron there's actually links below. If you guys want to look into those there's one a little cheaper. So there's a couple links there, but even like, if you have, you know, unmanageable hair, but it's hard to flat iron or won't stay flat ironed or you have a lot of frizz. This will be your best friend. It will be worth every penny, so I just wanted to let you guys know that, although my blow-dryer, you know the the babble is pro, is amazing: there's a weak devil too. If anybody needs a good blow dryer, so you can check that out. It'S a nice time right, a Google. You know like that when you can destroy even not right, okay, so just one little scoop of the clay and rub it in. Oh sorry, you're just attacking like so much I'm gon na turn. Your house again see she just wants this PC. So we'll just add the clay back here you grab a tiny bit once the clay, the first time a little bit a piece that goes friend. I that's what's fun about these. Haircuts too, is the piece enos of it you know, and the messy and where she loves just messy good, and when I turn you around you're, more than welcome to mess it up more if it's to like set. You know what I mean: it's it's PC, but if it's to set you can play with it, like you know, put it where you want it: okay, okay, we are going to hand you your glasses and then so I can and that way you can see too. If we need to go shorter, locators with the glasses and then I'll spray you as soon as we're done, if I can knowing like it okay, you know then oh, can we see yeah? So if it's to set you just play with it, move it where you want, does that feel better that feel good yeah, it's great! Okay, perfect there anything! You can see that you would want. Thank you so much for dragging down here seriously so fun to get to know you so anyway, yes, darling. Yes, you guys thinks again. I love these guys support me and just like that, really like reaching out to me and like wanting to know more and then come down, it's just so fun. Melba Mauldin: RaDonna, I love watching you. I obtained my cosmetology license in 1973. I absolutely loved "cutting" hair. I did not mind perms, but color was not my thing! I find it so relaxing watching you cut hair! I Love your personality and how you relate to your patrons! You are so kind, loving, and fun! I found your page a couple months prior to Covid in early 2020. We moved from Colorado to Florida. My hair is fine and thin. I have it long so it can be put up and not affected by the humidity. Would love to go short. However, I am fearful humidity will make my hair flat. Jokingly, I tell everyone my hair is like "frog furr". Never had success with short fine hair in humidity. Thank You for all you put in to your videos! I would love to see some mid-length shag cuts for 2022! Last, where did you attend Cosmetology school, and do you instruct at a cosmetology school? Thank You RaDonna, for your relaxing videos!

Peggy Dicillo: RoDona, I want a hairstyle like yours but my hairstylist doesn’t seem to understand what I’m looking for. The longer front and left side is especially what I am looking for. Is there a particular cut that I should suggest she use ? I don’t like to wear bangs but use that area and side as one longer area combing the Hair completely to the front and down. I part my hair on the left and go over the right. I like the dramatic look of the longer side and I feel it better suits my shape of face. Could you please help with suggestions for me to give to my beautician. I have asked for short layering but she says it shouldn’t be done with my longer front. Is that longer side just an illusion?

Michelle Schmitt: Is the product you refer to as clay called a masque on the product website?
