How I Curl My Pixie Cut

Hey guys today, I made a hair tutorial, showing you how I get this kind of wavy curly hairstyle for my pixie cut. I think this is a really great hairstyle. It'S really easy and it doesn't have to be perfect or anything like that, which i think is great and also. I think this is a great hairstyle for, if you're growing out your pixie cut, because we always get to that awkward point where we don't really know what to do with our hair, and I think this is a great hairstyle to kind of take you all the Way from the point where your hair is long enough to curl it all the way to like bob length and longer so um. Yes, I hope you guys really enjoy and if you want to see how I did it and just keep on watching. So the only thing I've done to my hair is blow-dry it. So I mean you can see this hair over here is looking kind of crazy and I did leave my hair over my ears because that's how I want it when I curl it so now, I'm just going to spray this, not your mother's beat the heat um Spray just for a little bit of heat production. Alright. Now I just want to start sectioning off my hair, so I can curl it and I always start over here - and I just do small sections and work my way up. Okay, so what I use to curl! My hair is my straightener. I have this nano titanium babble, Asst straightener and I really love it. I'Ve had it for a few years and its really good. This does have a heat like knob or whatever. It goes all the way up to 50. I have it set on 25 right now and honestly, I usually use it on a lower setting than that. I just don't see any need to turn it up really high and fry your hair off so anyway. Okay, so I'm just going to start right here and take this section and I like to curl the hair in the opposite direction each time. So what I do is I just take it. I curl it right at the base and then I just start pulling down. So that I get more of a wave and not a super tight curl, because if you do really tight curls on hair, this short you're just gon na just gon na look too curly and it's not going to look cute. So we're just going to keep doing the same thing and the piece is right by my face, I always like to try to curl those away from my face. I just think it looks more flattering. If you do get a curl, that's a little too curled. You can always just pull on it right after you release the curl to kind of pull some of the curl out, while it's still hot and it won't cool, so curly coz. Once your curl cools, it's pretty much stuck that way until it relaxes, and sometimes it doesn't relax enough. So that's just a little tip for you. Okay, I want to do one more layer on this side and then I'm going to move to this side. I like to do the top section kind of by itself at the end: okay, now it's time to do the top section, so I'm just going to let down this hair and you can do whatever you like with your bangs. I think, depending on how long they are, if you want to lightly curl them or whatever you want to do with them, it's always awkward to me doing my bangs with this hairstyle. So what I like to do is just leave my bangs out of it for a little bit and then at the end I will come back and do something with them. But for now I'm going to section off a little piece here behind my bangs and just work from there. Okay, so my camera died. So all I did was finish the back of my hair. I did it the exactly same. I did it exactly the same way as I did the front and the rest of my hair, except the shorter pieces in the back. I just kind of curl them under and every which way just so they look a little wavy to match the rest of my hair. So now all I want to do is just take my fingers through all the curls just to break them up, so that it's just more kind of wavy. Okay, now I'm going to take some of my Bed Head manipulator and I'm just going to use that for my bangs to kind of hold them in place. So at this point you can add a headband or any kind of embellishments. If you choose to do so, I am just going to kind of twist this side and pin it down now, I'm just going to finish off with a little bit of hair spray. The hairspray I've been really liking. Lately. I've had a very short pixie that I'm trying to grow out some, but it just starts to look like a big brown mushroom. I will be curling my hair now as it grows out.
