What'S up you guys, so today i'm going to be doing a haircutting video um. Since people keep asking for my haircut, i don't have anything like specific that i do to it, but i'll just show you guys it is wash day. So i'm going to go ahead and wash my hair. If you guys want to see my wash day routine, you can find it on my channel. I'M going to go, get my hair wet, because that's how i like to cut my hair and i'll be back. I'M going to just brush through it, i'm going to part it all the way down the middle from the front to the very bottom. I might actually do it this way, because i have a mirror for me just checking to make sure i got all the way down the middle, and i did looks pretty good to me. I'Ve been doing this on my hair for years, and i've never had a problem and i've made sure to teach myself and not cut too much before cutting, which is key and if it doesn't work for you, then don't do it. It'S as simple, as that. So yeah so some good ways to know if your hair needs a trim is if or at least how. I notice, when my ends dry, faster when they tangle faster. And if you see a lot of openings in your hair at the ends or it starts to get a little thinner, then you probably need a trim. These are some facts that i have heard and seen from stylists and that i have researched myself and i do find them to be pretty true and pretty accurate. So that is some of the ways that i follow to make sure that i'm cutting my hair um. I i don't know if i would say i cut my hair regularly. I would say, like i go, a good like maybe like four to six months between each cut um. Whenever i go back to look at the last time, i cut it's been about that time period and that just like works for my hair because i feel like it doesn't need it. So often both sides brush i'm going to start with one side and make sure it's not behind my ear, because that's going to kind of throw off the hair, cutting completely straight going all the way down - and here i just take my two fingers to hold and Secure where i want to cut then taking my brand new cutting scissors they're so nice, oh my gosh, and just starting the trimming process. Any parts that are sticking out are that are uneven from the rest of my hair and also just because, like i said, my hair dries faster when the ends are dead. I'M able to tell um which parts need more attention and see here is the thinning part that i was talking about. You'Re going to be able to see this and feel this in your hair. I typically feel it more when my hair is wet, then, obviously, when it's dry and curly, because it's harder to tell also when you're cutting your hair always make sure that your head is straight. The only thing that i was doing was looking down and that's why? I had my hair pulled up. This just makes sure that everything is even here, i'm getting ready to cut the other side and you can kind of see where it lets off and the length difference of the two sides, and i already cut the other side. And so now, i'm going in to make sure that both sides are even and perfect anything that is wrong and when i did the other side, i just did little by little same thing that i did for the side that i showed you guys and, like i Said i'm just going in and making sure that both of these sides are, even because all i do is cut my hair straight across and i just cut off, like maybe an inch or two. I feel like people always ask me what my haircut is just because my hair goes at different lengths when it's curly, obviously, but i literally have the same haircut my entire life. I'Ve never liked layers or anything, and here is what the back looks like. I'M back and my hair is dry, i feel so like refreshed. I don't know after i have a haircut like it's just like it feels refreshing it feels like after that shower. I feel like after a shower refreshing for me. Personally, i don't know, but now my ends are nice and healthy. What it looks like from the front. Thank you so much for watching

whyareyouhere: My hair used to be super long before i got the big chop, and it wasn’t too damaged so I was still able to do curly hair style, you were my inspiration though, love ya

STYX Fan: DIY home haircuts save a lot of money, plus you don’t have to worry about salon disasters. My experience with long hair is to cut it dry, that way I can see the condition of splits/damage, address the damage, plus I had my wife, her mother on a schedule of the last Saturday of the month, on even months to trim their hair. Minimal trim before it got too damaged, means they were happy knowing not much needed to come off, no one ever noticed they had a trim plus it was free.

Karcy Kinnamon: Oh cool! I have really long hair but it’s straight so I’m not sure how this would work on my hair but I’m kind of curious so I may try it hahah. You’re hair is so gorgeous!
