In today's presentation, i want to show you my latest purchase, which was the ellen villas anda, and i had this in mind for the upcoming summer. I think it's no secret that i do adore this style, and this is the third color that i have purchased in this style. We'Re going to take a look at some of the variances and we're going to compare this color to some of the other popular similar colors on the market. If you have any questions about this style or any other, please contact support wigstudio1.com. So let's talk about my latest purchase, which is the ellen villas, honda and platinum blonde shaded. This is the lightest, brightest and coolest blonde available on this style. Currently now i know a lot of you and even i feel like this is a lot like the girl mono by ellen villa, but as a blonde lover that girl, mono, color palette, is just so limited. I think there's only one real true, lighter blonde and that's the champagne rooted that champagne rooted was kind of dark and kind of a dirty blonde color. It wasn't really bright. So i was really disappointed because i love love, love the style so when they came out with anda and all of these new blonde shades, i was over. The moon couldn't wait to collect them. The bahama beige shaded, which is a new color for ellen villa a beautiful but darker blonde, and then i had the cream shade cream blonde shaded, which was a light blonde, but it has a lot of warm tones to it. So i was eager to get a hold of this platinum blonde shaded. Let'S talk about this color real, quick and i'm going to show you how it's actually applied to the style, so the platinum blonde shaded is sort of an icy platinum mix on a medium brown root. Now the color code on this, i believe, is a 60 a 24 and a 101. They didn't identify the root number, but we're probably assuming it's around an 8.. So the 60 is a white um and then the 24 is a pale gold blonde and then the the 101 is an icy platinum. So really, what hits your eye first on this color? Is that icy, platinum - and i see platinum to me - is a little bit different than white in terms of an icy platinum, just having a little more glisten and dimension to it than a than a flat white is so that's why they call it icy, because it Kind of has that watery icy appearance to it, and then i just don't really see any particular white color here um, but i do see an icy platinum mixed with a very pale gold blonde. Now that gold blonde is there's just flecks and fine highlights throughout the style of that color, and it really isn't enough at all to warm this up. This is a true, very cool light platinum. I think the the pale gold blonde in this just gives it a little bit of dimension and it just keeps it from looking gray in my opinion and then all of that on a medium brown root. So i'm going to step up to the camera closer here. So i can give you a shot of this lace front now. As you know, anda has a lace front and a left monofilament side, part um. Typically on the other two, at least on the other two hondas, the lace fronts were done very well. I'M just was a little puzzled by this one i'll show you why nothing to do with the material, because the material on the lace front is done very well again running temple to temple and you're, probably going to discover here pretty quickly. There'S this very thin white line all across that lace front now, that's where they're bringing up that that icy platinum right to the lace front, but what they forgot to do was sort of intersperse that at the very front with the other colors, including the root on This style, so you get demarcation line there of that platinum, which i'm definitely not a fan of, because anytime, you have a demarcation of platinum. Against that lace front, it's going to make that lace, front, really visible, and then the left part here you can definitely see through to the illusion of scalp here. So when i took this out of the box - and it just was, it was all over the place. Um you know, onda is just one of those styles where you can see a ton of variants from piece to piece, and when i received my second honda, i knew right away that that's probably what we were in for and for some reason those curly styles tend To have a lot more variance than other styles, i want to say because curl is variable, and so you just have to know how to work with it and make it yours um. So the the bangs wanted to flop in the face and stuff. So i used my normal maneuvers here. It was very, very easy to train into a little bit of lift and contour now that lift and contour is kind of right dead center. Although i didn't change the part, it's still parted a little left of center and then what i did was to sort of um bring these curls under control. I moistened them with some sprays of water and i left it upside down to dry, and then i shook it out obviously really well woke up the fiber. Now this under tends to have a little more permatease in it than the other two hondas that i have experienced. Although the curl pattern, to my delight, is a little more choppy and separated than this, the first one that or no the second one that i had, which was the bahama beige, it had these wide softer curls to it wasn't as choppy. But this one actually reminds me of the first one that i received or the second one. It doesn't matter what order right. I have all three but we're going to take a look at the cream blonde shaded we're going to compare the colors and talk about the style. So this is the cream blonde shaded. So you can easily see where this one is definitely more: yellow, more gold. Okay, the root color, i'm looking at about the same, it's really hard for me to see into the camera today um we have zero natural light outside so um, i'm kind of working with just my studio lights. Sometimes it's hard to dial those in just right, given any particular lighting situation. So definitely you can see that now. You'Ll also see that this curl pattern is the same. Pretty much the same on each one of these on honda styles, choppy separated it can be enhanced with a like a sea salt spray or something it's just the perfect type of summer curl. In my opinion, now the front pieces here um at around six and a half inches - i mean i i thought i discovered they just they don't go to six and a half um, that's more like five inches, because i am six and a half from hairline to Chin and they kind of want to just feather back into the style um, so i think they blend well with the sides and everything they're, just not quite as long as the the specs may suggest, which is actually a good thing now. You can always come through and trim these two lengths as well. This is one style that i you know if you want to take it to a qualified stylist, to have a full straight across bang that may make it even more wearable for you, but i was able to manage the front and the bangs very, very well. Okay, so you're, looking at this color and right away, if you are a lover of blonde shades you're automatically, comparing this in your mind to all of the other popular blondes on the market. So the first thing i want to do is make sure you understand that this is nothing like shaded biscuit down to the details. Okay, i mean it's a light cool blonde. Yes, but i mean shaded biscuit is much creamier, there's more warmer and neutral tones in it. In fact, i have shaded biscuit here on the simmer elite that i just got done reviewing, so it's not up yet it will be shortly all right, so there you can see these sandy and honey tones along with some of this platinum. This is still my reigning. Favorite blonde um in raquel, welch and possibly all time that may change given the day, but i will always love my shaded biscuit. I like this creamier blend, it's a little softer, there's a lot more dimension. It has some some neutrals in it um the sand kind of warms it up, but there's no real uh presence of brassiness or anything. It'S not icy. It'S my point this this seems to be a little more creamy and soft than the harsher iciness of the platinum. In the platinum blonde shaded by ellen villa so i have some blondes sitting behind me here. I'M sure you all look back there and try to guess what i'm looking at right, um now, the first one that i want to show you on this one is the 10613 by henry margu. It'S on the style, jewels um. Now this is sort of an ash on ash display and there's really no no warmth in this one at all um. So you are seeing some of this ash blonde with platinum highlight now. The platinum highlight isn't profuse enough to make it as bright as this platinum blonde shaded i mean they could be used as sister colors for sure now. This is not the rooted 10-6-13. This is just the regular, but the colors should be the same. So this platen blonde shade is icier cooler and brighter compared to the 10 613. So if you're fan of the 10 613, that's how this color will stack up against it. Okay, so one of our favorite blondes that we love to compare is the palm springs blonde by jon renau. I have it here on julianne palm springs blonde, so it's an ash blonde blend and it has some like toned white in there as well, and then that on a what they consider, a light brown root, um again, there's more depth and dimension in the palm springs Blonde compared to the platinum and the platinum is going to be again cooler and icier, okay and it's not as toned. So these white pieces or platinum in this uh palm springs. Blonde has appeared to have a bit of a tone down effect, whereas it's just it's flying. This platinum is flying its flag here on the platinum blonde shaded and then the root is a big difference. So your light brown root on the palm springs versus the medium brown of the platinum and i think a medium brown root always looks so stark and dark next to a an icy platinum like this okay. So let's take a look at this one. I haven't seen this one in a while, but this is the silver sun rt8 by estetica on their style called winter now winter or the silver sun. Rt8 is uh, definitely one that is going to be very, very cool, like the coolest. You can possibly get without being completely white or gray um, so this silver sun is a tone like a toned down white um, giving it more of a silver cast. Okay, so there's no gray in this, but this toned white or this toned platinum gives a bluish effect to it, which makes it look a little bit silver but in reality it's a platinum and then you'll see some kind of watery beigey pale sandy. So let's try that again, so a pale watery beige highlight throughout this it gives a little bit of a sandy highlight to it. It does make it a little more dimensional than just a flat platinum and then the root on this one is a medium brown root. Now this one, this root is rather brassy, where i'm not seeing a lot of brassiness on the plat platen okay. So if you like this color silver, sun rt8, i know ellen villa has what they call a silver blonde rooted, which is a doppelganger for the silver sun rt8. It'S just going to be a little more toned and even more cool than this platinum blonde shaded. So, looking around here now, the only other one that i see we can look at is the uh cream soda blonde by by belletress uh here on kellyante hand tied i've seen a lot of variation of this color, but it it is like a dark sandy blonde Base with a lot of plaid platinum highlights. Okay, i have seen variations of this color that the whole thing looks white, it's kind of absent of that sandy uh blonde, and then i have seen others where the sandy blonde looks downright gold. So you know you can get a variation here, but again this one is just a platinum. What i would consider like a platinum mix with some sandy blonde, so you can definitely see some of that here. So next to this one - and i have not seen these and is this - camera - is just not a good mirror for me to guess, but you can see the difference i just looking here. It looks like the platinum blonde. Shaded is going to be icier, definitely icier than this one, some of the same tones here, both very very cool blondes. So i guess i do have one additional blonde here that i didn't realize was sitting out. This is the champagne, with apple pie, on dal gon na hand tied by beltress champagne with apple pie. I have seen variation in this color as well. This particular one is sort of a soft creamy blonde blend, but there's a lot more warmth than this one. Compared to some others, so definitely going to see more warmth in this compared to the icy coolness of the platinum blonde shaded, and then here is the root. Beer float blonde on delgona hand tie root. Beer float blonde is very cool, a combination of some ashy and sand tones along with a lot of platinum and then more of a medium to light brown root. So again, not as light and bright as the platinum blonde shaded by ellen villa so just from memory. Then, if we're comparing this to another color, i think that the sunlit blonde by estetica kind of has the same effect, but maybe just a tad warmer, but just as bright. In my opinion, another color that you might find similar would also be the gabor's sunkist beige. Gl23101, it's very icy and cool like this.
