Making A Drawstring Ponytail With Clip Attachment..Tutorail

My client had this hair which is her hair color but she didn't want to do the regular sew in weave because of the heat...so I decided to make a ponytail

Hi guys so I'm making a ponytail and um. You know those drawstring ponytail, I'm making a ponytail, but I'm going to put this clip in it. So I'm using this mesh. It'S it's a regular arm stuck in kept like this one, but I've cut. I'Ve cut the elastic off so and then I double the mesh and I just stitched around the edges and the hair they here um. I stitch. I doubled the tuck of clearing, for I put it in four and I just stitched the edges together and I stitch it to look like you know if it's not on stacked on top of each other, it's kind of layered. So what I'm going to do? I'M going to put I'm going to put the mesh on top of the mannequins head and I'm going to stitch the hair across across, like that, I'm going to stitch one there stitch one there stitch one! There stitch one day stitch it right across until it's full and then I'm going to run the elastic band through it and then but I'll when I'm am putting it on the mannequin I'll, come back and show you how I do okay, guys so I've stitched. So far of stitch, a couple of rolls on - and this is how it looks so far - I'm stitching from end to end and I'm leaving the perimeter out because that's where my elastic band is going to go and that's how it looks so far. Mmm, nice - and this is for a blonde here person she has her her hair color is the same color as this. So you know it will match perfectly okay guys, so I've finished sewing the ponytail on so the net, and this is what it looks like. So when you put it on, it will be this way, so this is the inside part of it. I'M looking for a large fin to show you how I run the elastic to it, but I can't find one so I'm going to use em a maybe a hairpin or something to try and get the elastic bands rule here. So I'll show you how that turn? Okay guys, so I don't know if you can see, but actually I'm this is the elastic band that I'm running through and I'm I put it onto a a hairpin and I just bend the hairpin so because I couldn't find a latch pin. So basically, I'm just running the elastic band through the edges like saw and you see, the elastic band is going through alright guys. So this is the ponytail. This is where I put the string in the drawstring, so I just you know you put it on and you pull up this string like that and your ponytail would be like that see that, but I'm not using the drawstring, I'm going to put the clip in This clip I'm going to put the clip on the inside, so you can just and the clip is on the inside. You can just open and put on put on your ponytail like that, so I'm going to put the clip in now I'm going to attach the clip open. It put one side in then push it under and push the other side through the teeth of the clip. So I'll come back and demonstrate how you put this ponytail on okay, so I'm not touching the clip and I'm just putting the teeth of the clip into the ponytail and I'm just using the teeth to make all like that. Push it through. You just have to work it through it's. You know because the the mesh is so small and the teeth of the clip is kind of bigger. So you just have to work it through until okay. So that's one side of the clip in and then I'm going to put the other side in. So I push the clip into the quantity like that and then I'm going to open it open the drawers and push this side over so okay. So I catch my hair in a ponytail just to show you what it will look like when I attach the ponytail. As I said, this is not my shape, but the person who I made it for this is their shape. So I catch my hair in one and I'm attaching my ponytail and I just open the clip and attach my quality right. There see say this was my color hair. That'S how my ponytail would have looked, also bright, awesome, pretty cool and that's how you made that's. How you make a ponytail yeah? This is another one. This one is already done and and and everything this one is wrong and if you can see the clip right there, so if I attach this one as well, you fix it. That is all that. One would look so hope you enjoyed this video guys. Thank you guys for watching and I'll see you next time.

My fake pony had no clip but it has a drawstring and mesh , but it never occurred to me that I could just put a clip on it... Thanks so much.
