Testing Alter Ponytail Extensions & U Clip | Alter Hair Review... Is It A Scam?

Is it cute? I really wish everyone was just packing in driving past my room right now, because it's all i can hear. I keep trying to start this video and it's just not happening, but hello, everybody welcome back to my channel. I hope everyone's doing well. If you're new here hi hello, welcome, so i have quite a different video for me. Hair videos aren't something i usually do. I'Ve done one i think like this before, just because i actually know absolutely nothing about hair. It is someone i've been trying to get more into because i feel like when i have my hair done and it looks nice. I feel nice as opposed to like makeup, but for me that's just how it is. I'Ve been wanting to wear my hair up more recently as well have loads of ponytail extensions and things from ulta hair kind of a little review on today, because i keep seeing people promoting different hair extensions and stuff, and some of them are ridiculously expensive. I could not like put myself through paying that much for something that i don't even know. It'S gon na work so yeah these have kindly been gifted to me. I'M just going to show you a few of the accessories. I got first, the first ones i've got are some yellow clips, there's two of them. They'Re called the you and me were perfect clips, so i alter her. How adorable is this color? It'S probably gon na stand out really well with how dark my hair is too. The next ones i've got are called a little cute, never hurt anyone. How cute is that definitely what they say they are they're very cute. Given me, i'm going for a picnic. The last thing i've got. Are these scrunchies definitely going to be something? I wear a lot of the actual ponytail like clipping extensions and stuff, which i personally think is the very fun part. I just want to show you the packaging, real, quick, it's a step in a great direction in the back as well take care of your hair, but also be fair to the environment. We share wow rhymes, there's the craft paper packaging, it's 100 recycling. I just got really excited because i realized how well i have matched my hair and there was like pictures to choose from of the colors. That process was slightly stressful because i thought it's gon na look terrible. If i picked the wrong color, i tried my best. I think i picked the dark brown one and i will say i have done a pretty darn good job, because i personally cannot see the difference. I'M going to show you my hair before and then you can kind of be after much better. If i do a little comparison before this is the length of my hair, currently i don't have the longest hair. I quite like my hair at this length, maybe a little bit thicker than average. Oh, i feel like my hair is styled the same way as this. Actually, that makes my life a little bit easier as well. Okay, clipped it in. Let me take down the bun and kind of see how that looks. I feel like i should have took a bit more hair on the top of my head to kind of cover. It just because, oh wow, let me fix this and i'll, come back to you all, because i feel like it's a bit of a mess at the moment. I'M not gon na lie to you all as much as the color match is perfect. They don't blend in with my hair. One of them is ponytail number one in dark brown and then the other one is ponytail number three in dark brown. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to put my hair up for these ones? Give them really sleek ponytails and that's what i'm going to do about 50 000 attempts later my hair is finally up one day. I want my hair to go right quickly. Just gave me the complete opposite with that, and it's not perfect. I don't know it, but it'll have to do so comes a little instruction. I always get so confused because the hair comes in like this little kind of protective netting, to keep it all together as well, and so i'm always like. Oh it feels gross. But then i realized it's just this net taken off. Do you see this is very long? You do the same thing and brush it out, like i did with the other ones, because no one wants a tiny ponytail. What you do is you. It comes with two bobby pins as well, so you take off the bobby pins. You undo the like a velcro-y section um and it's like a small little clip like this dc. You close that over the top of your ponytail, and then you wrap this part around to kind of cover up the velcro, so it looks more natural. Do you get the vibe before with my hair? Yes, i'm gon na try my hardest to not get velcro onto me. Then, once it's up like this, you just take the two bobby pins that they provided and just secure the wrap around section all right, gon na give them a quick brush through. I feel like this is the closest i'll ever be to being anything like ariana grande. Oh, my goodness, my hair is so long. Okay, these definitely hide your natural hair and like blend together so much better than the other clip that i just tried this one from the back. It'S really pretty, but i will say it is very heavy on my head like when i move like this. I can feel the whole thing swinging, so i feel like because i'm very prone to headaches. I might give myself a headache, but i mean it does look very pretty okay. Now i'm going to take these out and the next clip, which is actually the final one. Sadly, um i actually prefer the ponytail extensions to the full-on extensions just because one they are easier to put in who i feel like i'd, actually wear these ones as opposed to the full-on extensions just because ow, okay, one downfall. This is the velcro. It keeps getting stuck to my hair that really hurts that one out, but it feels so much thinner. Now this one is the upside down. This one is the dark brown ponytail number three, i will say the color match has been beyond what i expected. I'M actually really surprised, i feel, like my hair is a funny color. It has like tones of red in it. This is what this ponytail looks like to me is, i think it's a lot shorter, which i don't know if it's short or if it's just because of the end, how it's been styled, but i feel like i might like this one. The most i'm gon na take these bobby pins off again, just i'm just gon na do the same process as the last time and yeah. It looks the exact same on the inside, as you can see, so i'm going to put this in okay. There we go. Oh, i like this one, okay, this one's definitely my favorite. I think i like the hairstyle of it. I like how it's not too long. Okay, this one is definitely my favorite, i'm gon na do a little 360, so you can see, looks like from the back. What do we think? Is it cute?
