The Best Way To Make A Drawstring Ponytail From An Old Wig.. Sis! Don'T Throw That Old Wig Out

I look i look like i'm going for a wedding like a nigeria. A proper nigerian wedding's got ta meet the love of my life period. Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. My name is tiffany, and today i'm going to be turning a raggedy ass wig into a cute-ass ponytail. I ordered a wig and i will show you what i got so basically, this is the apology i got guys and um ever since i bought this week. I hated it. I'Ve only won it once since i bought it last year and the did i avoid. I went to work. I was still doing my nyc, then it was ugly and i looked like a mad woman. So since then i've not worn the wig, because i absolutely hated it. So i was like you know what why don't, i turn it into something that i would actually wear, so i decided to turn it into a ponytail wig. So, basically, what i'm going to be needing for the wig is a mannequin head and tripod a ponytail with cap, my scissors, the ponytail comb needle and thread as well as a razor. I got this at just basically any hair store. I got this at 400 and got this at 400 as well. I did not need to buy any other thing other than the ponytail cap and the comb so basically guys. I need you to sit back and watch me make this thing into that. What i'm going to be doing is showing you guys how i'm going to turn this into a ponytail wig, hello, guys voiceover tiffany. Here, i'm sorry, my voice is a little bit raspy, but i'm just waking up. So what i'm doing right here is loosening the wig. This is basically helping me prepare the wefts to be installed on the ponytail clip in um, i'm using my razor blade to unravel the sew in and yeah. That'S, basically what i'm doing at the moment um. So basically, this is the finished. Look i'm done on installing the wefts or the weave from the wig. I wouldn't be needing all those parts, so i'm going to be throwing those away right now. What i'm doing is putting the ponytail cap onto the mannequin head using my t-pins. I had just four to work with and that's the reason why you know i had to use it on four different areas, so i'm pinning that onto the mannequin head so that i can be able to add my wefts. So what i'm doing is sewing using my needle and thread to sew in the wefts onto the ponytail cap, which is pinned on the mannequin head, so um, i'm doubling the wefts so that it's going to be two because i see that the ponytail cap is quite Small and i need to work with as much hair as i can so that's the reason why i doubled the weft. I'M sewing it to ensure that the stitches are secure so that the ponytail does not unravel when i'm wearing it. I'M doing that. I'M also using the fold over method. This means that instead of cutting the weft, when i'm done sewing at the end of a particular line, i would fold it over so that it will start from another line, like so hey guys so uh, i'm back. I'Ve done my hair. I'Ve done my makeup. This is my natural hair. I told you guys earlier that i relaxed my natural hair. The hair is not yet up to two years. It'S the growth is decent. It'S not up to two years. It'S going to be two years in november um because i was bald like skin, bald uh, then so yeah hair is growing decently yeah, and so i'm back, and this is how the ponytail is looking like. It'S looking super full too much. Basically, if you ask me so what i'm going to do now is um wet the hair and after wetting the hair i will put in this leave-in conditioner leave-in strengthener from mega growth. I don't know if you can see it with this. My multi-purpose spray bottle. I know it's looking too much. That'S the reason why i want to tame the curls, so i guess yeah. So i want to tame them a little. So i'm going to be using my living strengthener, it works wonders i'm not going to lie. It actually works wonders. So i'll use it to comb through the hair and this hair sheds a lot. Well, that's fine, okay, guys! So this is how it's looking like it's not as busy anymore. The curls are still kind of moist from the leave-in strengthener, which worked wonders by the way. It'S time for me to install this bead okay, so i've got two cones here that i put in. I know that you can see it. So what i'm gon na do is put this to the back of my head of course, and then put the first comb in you use the first comb in under i put the first comb under, and then i put the second comb on top. This is very, very, like not painful. I was expecting this thing to be painful in the first place, but yeah it's pretty cool. So this is my drawstring i'm going to tighten it around the bun, make sure that it's nice and tight and firm and then use that fastener to fasten the drawstring, so the excess rope will be tied around basically um yeah and um voila. Okay. First of all, let's take a moment to appreciate my beauty period, see my sleep but number one look at the edges guys. My edges have not lived since 2017 period because i like, when i had natural hair, no shade. I missed my fro, but it was very very like it wasn't the softest and i did not see any product that could tame that thing down but see my edges guys. It is laid and slayed okay and then, let's take a moment, to appreciate this bun, because it's giving get the way sister is slaying. The beans, okay, okay, okay, this is how it's looking like. I don't know if you can see. Okay, if i'm going to wear this out, i'm going to make sure that the leave-in strengthener that i put is dry and all of that because i don't want product on my body. However, this is looking good bro see i don't i've never done ponytail before and look at how slate i'm looking guys. This is about to be a signature period. Okay, this is about to be a signature. Okay, okay, see, i cannot get over how good i'm looking and um yeah so yeah. This is how it's looking like. I don't know this is it's good, it's looking good, and maybe i can't even do it into a little bun. Look at now. Bro, like do it in a little bun, use a bobby pin to just hold it at the back. Like you understand, i look. I look like i'm going for a wedding like a niger.
