Hi, like hey like have y'all missed me, have y'all miss me, because i have truly truly truly missed y'all. So much i am glad to be back filming again. Yes, i'm in a whole new space whole new mental space, physical space. All of the above. We do not have to get into those details, but i just want to let y'all know recording this video was not easy. I got like this fake nose ring thing going on y'all. I was trying to test it out to see. If, like am i a nose, ring kind of girl, i'm kind of a punk - and i don't want to like - really get my nose pierced because i watched my cousin get her nose first and it really looked like it hurt and i'm not about that life. So you didn't come here to talk about nose rings. You came here to talk about this wig and we're going to do that. So, as always, i'ma jump straight into this video you're going to watch me. Do the unboxing, the customization the whole tutorial and then i'm going to come back with my pros and cons and tell you if you really should spend your coins on this wig? Now i spent my coins on this wig because i really wanted to try out this look y'all. Okay, because you will not be disappointed and show me some love, okay, all right, let's get started. I just want to pause this part of the video, because this is my first time recording a wig tutorial, install in my new apartment and i'm having to do it in the kitchen. Slash dining room, slash living room because there's no space in my bedroom, so my whole kitchen island. It'S a mess, and i'm doing this with my small mirror right new camera, but my small mirror instead of my wide vanity, so bear with me as i try to secure this look with this little mirror, i'm working with just just keep watching. First of all, we fancy in 2022 because your girl got an actual camera for christmas. So guess what i get to use my phone just for pictures or whatever, or to read off my little pros and cons list, because we elevate them in 2020, too. Okay, that was extra, but you know you already know i am so. Let'S get started with these pros and cons, because this video does not have to be long at all and i'ma jump straight into it. My first pro is. First of all, this is like a super. Come on now, like a super cute style like it was super easy. I literally took it out the pack and i was like well, i literally guess i can cut the lace off and just kind of put this thing on, which is what i did so. Basically, i didn't need to like mess around with it now in the stock card. It does show you that you can wear this unit out like i can take out the little knot and just wear it down. I did not test that out, because this is the look i was going for, but that could also be another pro that you can wear this unit in two different styles. Now this unit is really long. I don't think i was expecting it to be this long, but it's fine because usually when people get like these sleek ponytails or like these dramatic, like puffy ponytails but sleek, look in the front, it's usually like super long has a lot of volume to it. Do you like that this is a 13 by 4 inch lace? However, i do feel like maybe i just got a big head or whatever, but i do feel like i had to slick down just a smidget of my baby hairs on the side. They'Re not even baby hairs. I just had to sweep this little part right here, just to kind of blend into the wig, but honestly, that's what made it look more natural. Like that's my other pro. It'S like this wig looks very like natural, like i just love. How sleek it looks like i really just slick my hair back into a ponytail. That is just it's just doing what it needs to do now. One thing i also love is that, of course, like it's pre-plugged and it already kind of comes with the baby hairs. So i decided this time that i wasn't going to like cut the baby hair. Super short, like i'm always doing. I really sat here y'all in my island really trying to perfect these baby hairs, because i was like i wanted to look how people really be swooping. These long baby hairs and they really be making it work versus me when i be cutting them like real short and thinning them out and i'd be like you know, i kind of struggle with those, so i went for like the long baby hairs look. I did take my time with it on like on and off camera. So if anything took a long time, it was me just really trying to perfect the baby hairs, but once i got it i mean you tell me like once once i took my time, i mean that's. The only thing you're really going to do is do the baby hairs and put the powder on the wig and pretty much go. I did put like a little bit of like uh. This lace glue it that's like very simple. I literally can rub alcohol on it and it'll come straight off. I just wanted something to hold down like a little bit on this part of the flap a little bit of that part and just to kind of secure it right there. You can also probably wear a wig grip and get a bag with just kind of like gelling down the baby hairs enough and tying the scarf down with, like some got to be glued gel or like spray and go on about your day. But i just chose to use that because that's what i had on hand there's a lot of pros, but as always a wig is never perfect, so we must get into the cons. My very first con is gon na be the lace is too light. I don't know how many times i had to go in with like the powder now i know some people use kind of like the tent spray and i did have that, but i didn't feel like wiping off this excess spray that gets onto like the hair and All that extra stuff, so i just went with the powder, but i found that i really had to like one dab it with like kind of like a big makeup brush and then go in with, like a smaller one, to really kind of go along. The hairline and when i did the part i had to go over that multiple times as well with my powder, so the lace is super light. Please go heavy on the powder in the tent spray if you want it to blend perfectly to like your skin tone and look as natural as possible. My second con is, i hate to say it because y'all know y'all know. I love this on a wig, but i hate to say it. The ponytail has too much volume, never thought i'd, say those words too much volume seriously like. Why is this ponytail so thick, i literally pulled out uh. I forgot. Is this one like a razor comb - and i definitely plan i'm not doing this right now for this video, because my battery's about to die on this camera. But i definitely plan to go in and like shed some of the volume on this, because i swore like i watched someone else's tutorial on this and the volume did not look that big, like i showed y'all what it looked like from the back. It legit looks like that in person. I am not feeling how big the volume is. So if you have one of these, if you don't grab one and or if the volume is cool with you, that's cool too, but if you're like not feeling the volume just take this and take some just shed some of that hair off and thin it out To like your liking, the other part about that is, i'm not feeling the texture of the ponytail. Now this is so smooth, so sleek. I promise you. It feels like i flat ironed my hair and just slicked it back, but the texture of this, like y'all watch me, put some mousse and stuff on it. The texture of this is not giving it's getting nappy, it's giving synthetic it's giving. I don't know you you, you lay on this a little bit. You know i'm saying you might get some knots like you know you might be out in public and you can't like really comb out this unit, because it's not that type of unit that you really bout to like rake a comb through. So maybe if i thin this out some and then add some more like mousse and water, maybe it'll be exactly how i want it to be, but i'm not feeling the texture of this ponytail. So i don't know what y'all did up here that y'all couldn't do back here like i know it's supposed to be fluffy, but the texture is is getting dry. It'S giving it's lacking, luster! It'S giving nappy! Okay, nappy yeah! I think those are like my only cons. Um i love i forgot to say before i really love that it comes with an uh adjustable strap and you can just kind of like take that in some, as you saw me do when i first put it on. I was like oh dang, this james loose and i did think i was going to need a wig grip, but once i like, tighten it in and brought it in a little bit more, it's pretty secure. So all you need is a stocking cap and if you want to like put a little bit of glue here or whatever adhesive a little bit of spray on on the sides here gel and go, i am in love with this. Look. I don't know who i feel like i am like. I said each wig, each hairstyle that i try. I feel like. Oh i'm a different person like i have never looked like this a day in my life and for my girls, my girls, who don't have who have the edges? Look just like me. You know what i'm saying this is like a dream. Come true, look, look. The baby hairs are giving the edges that i wish. I had it's giving the baby hairs that i wish i had so if i had to rate this wig on a scale from one to ten, ten being it is absolutely flawless and one being this is straight trash, don't waste your money, throw it in the garbage. I'M gon na give this unit. Excuse me, i'm gon na give it a 8 and a half. Now, if i shed some hair off of this unit, it just might be a 10. now the price is is affordable, as always, you can also try it in different colors, but please, let me know your thoughts.
