Sleek Butterfly Braid Ponytail With Weave

And today i'm going to be showing y'all how i did this ponytail. It came out so cute. I love it. It'S a butterfly braid, but i used weave instead of braiding hair, and i did you know the little two part with the slick on the side. Going straight back, you know little fluffy, baby hair. It came out so cute. I love it and let's get right into the video okay y'all. So we're going to start out with me, giving myself basically two side parts trying to keep them as even as possible. It took me a long time to do this, so i did edit it and make sure that i didn't keep all that footage because child it took me a long time to get those parts even so yeah, i'm just partnering two parts on the side and then Making a full square with the back and then sectioning that off and putting the rest of my hair in a ponytail, and then i started with the slicking process. So i put all of my rest of my hair in a ponytail. It just makes it easier to slick it down and make it you know sleek or whatever mold it. So i am going to be using the fantasia spritz and the olive oil spritz. I know my bottle's a little messed up, but yeah. These are the sensational natural bundles. You can use any synthetic long bundles. Those was ten dollars, it's another brand. That'S that i'd be seeing, but my beauty supply store, didn't have it. So those are the ones that i got, but it's a lot of different kind. You don't have to get that specific kind, just any type of cheap synthetic bundles that come in really really long lengths. That was a 30 inch by the way. So i'm just going in sections all the way around my head to mold my hair down, i'm using the green spritz first and then the brown spritz and then i'm blow drying it until it's completely dry and once i get the ponytail molded, then i'm going to Mow down the front part, so i did the front part in two separate sections. I molded the back, half back, put it in a ponytail using a rubber band, and then i molded the front half back and did the exact same thing. It'S not my fault. You'Ve been lying saying that i took away your peace drowning by yourself. Now you wan na blame me, like you, have no options. I take your options now, i'm not the problem, man, that's what you've been terrorizing me yeah, i'm always wrong. I knew you lost your mind when you dropped that bomb girl. Are you crazy yeah? You must be crazy. I'Ve been thinking lately, it's for you. You stole your piece. Okay, so now that i'm done molding the ponytail i'm going to be using some spritz to spray on my loose hair and go ahead and braid it um. Since my hair is so thick and long, it did make my braid a little bit bulky so um. I did, and it was too long - okay, y'all gon na see, but i'm gon na braid it down and then i'm going to use the wrap strips to wrap. But then i'm going to fold my hair back up to kind of try to make it a little bit shorter because it was just so much hair like it was a hassle, i'm not going live. Your hair is thinner than mine or shorter it'll, be way easier for you to do this part, because i kind of struggled i'm not gon na lie and i ended up having to use the full two bundles and an extra little track of hair that i had Laying around just because i had so much hair that i needed to wrap up it would be a lot easier, would have been a lot easier if i didn't have as much hair that i needed like as much space to wrap. I hope that makes sense, but anyways i'm going to use the black wrap strips to cover and protect my hair. This keeps the glue from getting on your natural hair, i'm going to use some rubber bands to hold it in place. This is my track. I did keep them doubled. I put the glue on the track first at the bottom, and then i put the glue on to the wrap strips just so it'll be easier to wrap instead of having to put the glue on the track the entire time. So i ended up realizing that i was kind of rapping a little bit too close, but by time i realized it was too late, so i definitely ended up using a lot of weave. Luckily, this hair isn't heavy or anything but yeah. Just keep that in mind. You don't have to double it. I just thought it was going to go quicker if i doubled it, but child it really didn't go no quickly. It didn't take a long time either it just wasn't any quicker than it would have been had. I just you know, did it single but yeah. This is the second bundle. Now and now i realize, like oh shoot, i need to wrap, you know bigger spaces, so you can see that i started like wrapping it up and putting space in between, but i didn't realize that until i got to this point and yeah, so i went ahead And cut the track um and i glued one little piece down because i wanted to. I wanted to make sure that it was flat. So i glued one half down and then i put glue on the end of the other half and glued that around too. And then i had some little loose tracks that i had laying around the house and i used those to finish the ponytail off and then, unfortunately, i forgot that my camera was in time lapse after this. So i ended up wrapping finish: wrapping the hair around and then using a piece of hair from the back to wrap around to cover up the rest of the wrap strip and my track. But then i slowed it down a little bit because i end up realizing that i was not recording how i was supposed to be and i had needed another piece of hair anyways but y'all, i'm not gon na lie on this part. I could not really see the back of my head, so um bear with me. I did the best i could on this part. Usually it's more. I definitely have it a little more sleek than this, but yeah i'm just wrapping a loose piece of hair around to get it to cover up the track or whatever, and then i'm using some spritz to smooth it in and mold it down. And once i'm done doing that, i'm going to begin braiding, the ponytail. So basically, since it was wrapped around you can't braid it like a loose ponytail like like loose pieces of hair. You have to braid it like um, like a french braid and then once you get past the hair that was wrapped around you braided regular, like uh, you know like a plait like a, i think it's got a plait yeah. So first, it's like a french braid. So you just braid in it, then you grab it from each side and then once you get halfway down the hair. Well, for me, it was halfway down the hair. Once i got past, where i wrapped the tracks around, that's when i braided it like it was a loose braid baby and i would never you've been flexing everywhere. Girl, look in the mirror, man you're, so dirty yeah. You look so dirty. You were never worthy okay. So now that i've finished braiding it and tied off the ends with a rubber band, i'm just gon na go through the braid and pull it out, and this is just fluffing it to give it that butterfly. Look so basically, i'm just going to keep playing with it fluffing it out. Until i get the look that i desire and once i'm done with that, i'm going to go ahead and do my baby hair. I am using that green spritz and spraying it on my edge brush to do the baby. Hair you'll see that soon and then that'll pretty much be the end of the video but baby. It'S you lying like all right, but take your stuff back baby. It'S you! Baby, then every day would rain on your parade shine. You can't share it yeah. If i was for the time, then i would change the day. So i never saw your place to please you baby. Okay, i'm officially done with my hair. This is how it came out. It'S so fire like that's so fire.
