Snatched & Highly Favored "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."Proverbs 31:25

Hey everybody is Sharma, welcome back to my channel today, I'm here with another ponytail look. So let's get started so starting off. This is my natural hair and you guys know. I love me a good ponytail. Normally, when I do my ponytails, I kind of just work with my natural texture, but today I want a more sleek ponytail, so I am going to be straightening my hair first, the straightener that I'm going to use it is a Remington flat iron. I believe it's about a inch and a half, so I'm starting by sectioning my hair off into four pieces and then I'm going to use a rat tail comb and attempt to do the chase Moffit. And I'm just going to start in the back of my head and start flat-ironing. So let me just say my hair has been prepped before adding the flat irons or before flat ironing. So what I mean that I my hair, especially cleanest, wash it's deep conditioned. It'S moisturized and I have heat protectant in it, so I just say that cuz, I know a lot of naturals they're hesitant about adding heat. This is the first time. No, it's not. I lied is the second time I really. I have really added heat to my natural hair, so I don't do this often and if you're not a fan of heat, then I do have other ponytail looks where I don't use heat but, as I mentioned before, I wanted this to be a very sleek ponytail And when I add gel and everything my hair, usually curls up and waves up even more - and I straightened it so I wouldn't have to add a lot of product to it and attempt to have the sleekest ponytail as possible. So this is my hair after one after that, one section has been straightened and, as you can see, it goes up into that ponytail very easily. So - and I didn't do a very hard press because I did not want to damage my hair, but I did want to kind of smooth out my natural texture as much as possible so for products I'm using the Murrays, beeswax, this kiss edge, fixer and some pump. It up, I tried to choose products that weren't really gel like and that wouldn't make my hair revert as much as possible. So I'm starting with the beeswax and I'm just rubbing that in my hand - and I'm just going to start smoothing that over my head and I'm not gon na lie these products were kind of a fail because, as you guys can see, my roots are definitely reverting. They definitely revert it for sure, with the Murrays, beeswax but the kiss product, it did kind of smooth it out a bit, and then I kind of just use the puppet up spray as just kind of like a holder just to hold everything in place. After I kind of smoothed it up yeah, I wasn't completely satisfied with these products, so I'm still on the search for the perfect products that kind of smooth my hair out without making it revert. If you have any recommendations, please leave them down below. I would love to try them out, but for now this is what I had to do, and the hair that I'm using is still gon na be curly anyways, but I still wanted my hair to be as sleek as possible. So now I'm just rotating between a hard bristle brush and a comb just to kind of smooth, my hair into a ponytail trying to prevent any lumps. And then I want to take a rubber band and just secure the ponytail. Then I went in with just a curling wand just to kind of smooth over the last bit of everything, just to make sure everything is kind of in place. And now I'm just gon na twist my hair and put it into a small little bun onto my edges, I'm kind of just using the left over product. That'S already in my hair and I'm just kind of putting them into the form that I want. And then I'm going to go in and fill them with the black guts to detail and then to set my edges. I'M just gon na take some wrapping paper and tie that down now on to the ponytail. The hair that I'm going to be using is from Wiggins hair. It'S the curly hair that I use for my half-up half-down. So when, and I always break the end of my bundles - just to kind of keep it together and in place and then I'm just going to wrap that in around my bun and then just begin to wrap my ponytail like I do. The any other points all over - and this is how it looks with one bundle, but I wanted to go a little bigger, so I'm adding a little more hair just to make my ponytail a little full and then to hide the web. I'M gon na pull some hair from the back of my ponytail and I'm just gon na go in with the comb and just kind of comb and smooth that piece of hair out. Then I'm going to start wrapping it around the base using some pump it up. Just to kind of seal it and hold it in place, I wrapped it around maybe two times and then I had a little piece of hair left that I just kind of bobby pinned in the back. I don't really worry about smoothing it around all the way and then super securing it, because I don't sleep in my ponytails. I do usually take these off at night, so I don't like to add a bunch of bobby pins and stuff and make it harder for me to take it off at the end of the day. So after I do that, my hair, if you can tell it still, looks more coarse than this curly hair, so I'm just taking a wide toothed comb and I'm just gon na go in and comb out this curly hair tease it fluff it up and just add Texture to it, just so that it is similar, we'll ask them allure as possible to my natural texture, so yeah and after I do that guys. That was it. So this isn't very different from some of my other ponytail looks. The only thing is that I Flatiron my hair first and it's a little more sleek and kind of pull back off of my face, but I love the way that it came out is super sleek, super sexy and yeah.
