High Ponytail With Weave (Detroit Style)

Hi everybody welcome to my channel. This is the look that we're gon na be doing today, and this is a high ponytail and I stay in Detroit style because I have not seen anybody on your super size. My other girl do this style. This way most outs. I see our wet styles and by wet styles on me with gel or conditioner, or something like this. This is gon na, be a complete dry style, so we need to make sure we hard press the hair. So this is what I'm prepping for right. Now. First thing I want to do is flutter in my hair section, so even if you do press it, you still gon na flood iron. It because you want to make sure those ends of your hair are straight if they are not. When you go to lay them down with the wax it will crinkle up, so you have to make sure your hair is super super straight. So this is what I'm doing now you right here is the product that I choose to use is Murray superior edge wex. It actually comes in two forms: it comes in extra hole and soft hole. This is the extra hole, so I'm just separating my hair just to get the ponytail and some older with the look that we're doing which one the focus on is having everything smooth. So, instead of trying to take piece by piece, I'm you want to definitely do sections, and this is just the beeswax. The thing I want to say about the beeswax is, do not be afraid to apply a lot. It will make your super sticky, but the more the product, the better whole know right here, I'm just separating this, so we can make sure we get it throughout the hair, let it just make it lay flatter and being that it's going so high up. You definitely want to make sure you got a smooth base, so it is the idea, put it on the back of my hand, the reason why I put it on the back of my hand is so I can kind of warm up with my body heat. So that's why you see that so another thing I just wanted to say is that you won't really see me doing this style with a brush just because a cone gets everything and smoother you, okay. So after you finish the front, you want to make sure you do two coats of spritz of your choice. Now this one that I'm using right here is called silk. I missed the local product is actually produced here in Detroit, a lot of our local stylish use. It I use it, I love it, so I'm going to use one called a silk and then one color pump it up and major thing that you want to do is definitely blow-dry it and cool. So cool was, is gon na set that, like almost instantly opposed to blow drying it on a hot setting. So this is what you'll see just me going back and forth, making sure these swoops are stiff, okay, okay, so most people can braid in this situation. I cannot so I made a mistake by cutting that see how I cut that in half. What I should idea is just took the little rubber band off and took me a small section of the hair off, so I wouldn't had to stretch it and all that kind of stuff. All I would have to do is braid it in my hair. So y'all, don't kind of see me struggling here. Okay, so right here, I'm just kind of trying to show you all the reason that I'm braiding my hair is because my hair is kind of thin is going out for my cut. That idea - and I just want some height and thickness to the ponytail you this one was sent back here so the key part cities ponytail - is that you want to start at the top of the base. I see so many people start at the bottom, but when you start at the top, i'ma gives you I feel like an invisible look, so you won't have to worry about it and it's really not necessary, because the way to here falls after you do it. This way it kind of covers the lash track. So you will see how that looks when we get to that portion of the video side note, this hair was really freakin nappy. I would never get it again. You know you're not supposed to spend that much money up on you till here, but look it was so hard for me to you know, keep it tangled and wrap it around. So this is the finished.
