Long Weave Ponytail | Protective Style | Silk Press

Hey it's naturally TC coming at you with this weave ponytail video. Now my client is fully natural. What we did was we went through. We shampooed conditioned and blow-dried her hair. We also gave her a silk press now when I do a silk press for this process. I don't like truly like straight and straight into hair, like as if I wanted her to leave the salon with just a really. You know nice press, but I press it out enough that I can put it in a ponytail. Now her hair is thick like thick thick white thick thick thick, like she doesn't get her hair press. She really doesn't even wear her hair most of the time. This client is with a weave or some kind of wig or something, but she doesn't typically wear her hair so that even makes it a bigger job as far as getting her hair to be straight. So what I did is my assistant or the salon assistant she's. So nice Teairra was able to help me and blow dry and flat ironed his clients hair before she got in my chair, which saves me a lot of time and what I did was take some braids hair. As you see, I'm wrapping the weave around the braid hair. That is not her hair that I am wrapping the weave around. I took some braid hair, which just it can be anything Kanaka, lon synthetic whatever and you're just going to braid that attach that to her pony dip, ponytail excuse me and braid it down and then you're gon na wrap the weave around the outside of that braid. Now, well, you see, I put the white papers on there. That'S her hair, so not only is her hair thick, her hair is long. So what I did was went ahead and protected her hair so that the glue is not actually touching her hair, but it's protected by the white strips. So, as you see, I am going in and I'll put the glue on the track and then I'll wrap the glue or the track around the braid yeah and she bought some. She actually bought. What I don't know if this is deep wave, some kind of wavy bundle hair. You know you can get it at the store. You don't have to like order it, because this is just for a ponytail. I didn't ask her how much she paid for it or anything like that. But you know you don't have to like spend a ton of money for hair, but this is just like some regular bundle, wavy hair that we're using - and I believe it was like a 16 and a 14. I put the 16. I think I put the 16 on the bottom, but I really probably I mean it was fine. I didn't I I couldn't figure out if I should put the 16 on the bottom - a 14 on the bottom, because it was just a ponytail, so it all probably should have been the same and then you're gon na shape it up anyway. So it really didn't matter, but I wasn't sure, but I think I've got the 16 on the bottom and a 14 on the top, but it came out really pretty. I think that's about it. As far as my instructions, I did use one try to think new expressions. I used the spritz and shine as far as the spritz that I used on her hair or the hairspray that I use on her hair to harden the hair as far as pulling it back and then just using the blow-dryer to really get it straight and flat. That'S what really matters most like the hair has to be straight and flat because you don't want it looking bulky and then the ponytail all big and stuff that don't look right. So you really have to take your time. The foundation is like the biggest part of getting this hairstyle to look really cute is you're gon na have to spend your time flat iron in the hair and then even blow-drying it the blow-dry before the Flatiron, and it's even important so just take your time doing That make sure the hair is nice and flat and you'll be able to get exactly what you need out of this I also use. I think I use a little beeswax on the front like for her edges instead of using - and you know I don't know gel or anything like that, because the gel lifts up after a while, especially if you're a client like really wraps their hair at night or Ties down their hair, sometimes, if you put like certain products, they'll always combine with a person's hair, texture well or the chemistry of their hair. Well and they'll find that if they're tied their hair down at night they wake up in the morning they got this white stuff all around their edges. So we don't want that. So what I did was just use a little beeswax. You know it's kind of like more like a Vaseline Petain but pétain, I'm not gon na. Do it, I'm not gon na murder that word but yeah the jelly-like consistency. And then you know you don't have a problem with that, because it usually composed combines with all ethnic hair like pretty well it you like really never have a problem so yeah so go ahead and check out the rest of this video. Follow me on Instagram. Follow me on Facebook, because that's where I be at it's a grand more than Facebook, but I'm trying to like work on a little Facebook situation. Oh you see how I'm putting up like glue on the paper, because I don't want what you don't want. Is this ponytail to slip out while she's doing something, because you didn't apply enough adhesive to the ponytail, so yeah I'll put a little bit more on the paper and then I'm still putting it on the track? And please don't be in my comments. Like that's a whole bunch of glue whatever whatever, because if you take it out properly using the glue remover and also the glue residue sham who you do not have any build-up, you do not have the glue pulling out the clients hair. The problem with people in glue or any adhesive, even if it's the lace, front, glue, it's not being removed properly. So that's why you're experiencing hair loss and alopecia and all those things it's because you're just ripping it out your hair and then you rip it out. The hair follicle and now you got no edges but ya, don't happen at main life studio, I'm like really sassy today, right, alright, so I'm really gon na. Let you finish this video. Let me know in the comments if there's anything like in particular, you guys want to see I'm trying to like upload like things that I don't usually post so hit me up in the comments. I love you all. Naturally, TC
