Hey y'all welcome back to my channel if you loved this ponytail, keep watching this video to see how I got it so, hey you guys and welcome back to my channel. I am super excited to show you guys this style today go ahead and subscribe. If you haven't done so already to my channel, join the family and turn on your post notifications, so that you can know every time I drop a precious video and also at the end of this video, if you like the style, go ahead and comment in, like The video and also follow me on Instagram shameless plug at Rachel Ray underscore, so let's just hop straight into the video. So, as you can see, I'm starting on freshly washed hair, I believe I have parted it off and sectioned it off. As you can see, I had to close the door. Don'T really know why I closed the door, but okay, and so I'm just gon na put that hair away to the side so that it makes it easier to twist now the thing that I did not do in the video - and I am so sorry was show You guys the products I am using so I'll put them in the description box below, however I'll be using the Murrays edge, wax extreme hold because y'all know, sis y'all know I be needing the extreme hold so um so I'll, be using that and then to twist. My hair, I'm actually using the double buttercream by as I am because y'all know, I love as I am PLAYR products and then I'll also be using Dax hair grease lanolin and it that's just what gives us its shine and it makes my hair look even curlier. So yeah, that's all I'll, be using and so always always detangle. Your sections. First probably shouldn't be using a rat tail. Comb big no-no definitely use a wide tooth comb to detangle, because rat tail combs, you know, tend to not treat our curls nicely. So I'm going ahead and pin it away the side so that I can work with this one side. The struggle be real y'all with short hair, trying to clip your hair away. So you don't grab it while you're twisting. I don't know why, and maybe it's just me, but I always have a little bit of trouble with that. So I am like I said, just pinning the hair away and we shall begin twisting now. What I did do and you'll see so I'll, take a little bit of the Murrays xtreme hold, and that is what actually will go on to my edges and also in between the parts a little bit just so in between the parts can lay down as well. So that's what you see that I'm doing right here, so I take a little bit and I'm putting it in the part and I'm also putting it on the edge as well. This is super vital super key. Just so you know your hair will stay down in the parts section. For some reason, when I do twist my natural hair, like swells a little bit the twist, I guess swells, and so I want to make sure and between my part is flat. And so that's what helps me insure that and, as you can see here - and I don't go all the way down with it, because the back of your head, no one - can really see that so yeah. So then I go in with my brush just making sure everything is nice and smooth and ready to be twisted. I believe I just put some of my Doc's hair grease on and also some of the double butter cream. Do y'all see that swoop y'all that Murray's edge wax be blessing, my soul and then, as you see, I just grab the double butter cream. You can see the creamy consistency of it now I will say the trick to doing any hair any slicked back hair style. I believe as a natural, it has to be, at least for me. My hair has to be like soaking away, and I had to be able to tie it down for the night. So, as you see here, I am just flat twisting and two strand flat twisting and also y'all. If my parting gets a little janky, please don't hold it against me. I can't see the back of my head, but at the end of the day, you'll see by the end, when I add the ponytail and all of that, how that really doesn't make a difference or play a factor. So, as you can see here, I'm just to twit to strand flat twisting to the back of my head and yeah, so I'm gon na stop talking now, because at this point you guys know what I'm doing. This is also gon na be a very redundant process until I have all the cornrows in my head and then I will come back and talk to you guys once it's come time once it's time to put the ponytail on, I got some twisted you, okay, I Am back and I have obviously, as you can see, finished, twisting my hair up, I'm just trying to make sure I get the little flyaways so we'll kitchen in the back, make sure that's gon na be slick down as well before I put this ponytail on. So I have my ponytail. This is the same ponytail from the first ponytail video, so that lets you know that this hair, I guess, lasts a pretty good little time machine. But not you know overdoing it, but I just attached my hair, I mean I just attach the hair, of course, to my hair like so and yeah, like from the previous video, so same way, I had my little bun bun in the back. I flip the ponytail over it once I put the scrunchie on and now I kind of fluff it to make it look like mine a little bit and that's pretty much what I'm doing right here, as you can see now, I did have to put a lot Of bobby pins in this because, as you can see how little that little bun bun was it's almost difficult to make sure the ponytail is gon na be in place. So that being said, if you put it on going out like this, make sure you secure it says bobby pins are the way to go, because you don't want to be embarrassed wherever you're going and you look up and your ponytail is on the floor and you're. Looking crazy, okay, okay! So that's all pretty much all I'm doing here, I'm just going in adding bobby pins yeah. That looks so pretty I'm looking at this, and it's making me want to do this style again. I have to do it again. It is so pretty by the way. This is my first time trying this and it came out really great, but I was just filming and I was like. Oh, let me see what this is gon na look like, so this is actually my first time doing this style. You know I'm so happy. We got to partake in this. I don't know endeavor together, so pretty much as you can see here. All I'm doing is adding in bobby pins, checking to make sure it's secure and it is going to be intact to my head and yes, so, as you can see right here, the only thing I'm doing is we going over my edges with the Murrays edge wax And making sure that it is going to be nice and slick for the next day, and so that's what I'm doing I'm doing this on every single twist in between the parts in the front and yeah. Well, now that we have finished our twist, we are going to go ahead and tie our hair up with our do-rag. Ladies because we know we want these edges to be slick, and we did not pack down all of this edge wax for no reason. So that's basically what I'm doing here, as you can see, I'm just putting my doo rag on making sure it's gon na be snatched and laid for tomorrow, and that is the end of this video. So go ahead and like comment and subscribe, you all saw how it turned out from the video from the beginning of the video or the intro to the beginning of this video, and I can't wait to see you guys in my next video bye.
