How To: Cheap & Affordable $20 Curly High Sleek Ponytail | Quick & Easy Ponytail With Weave

I just want you to hey y'all, it's your girl, just stephanie p, and i am back with a brand new video for you guys. Okay, now listen in today's video. We are doing a high sleek, curly ponytail, with the curly baby hairs, and let me just tell you guys: i really love this look. It'S like super cute, it's super girly and, like so easy to recreate so before we get into the video. First, i know some people were requesting for me to do the nyx brand first, so i am going to do that. So, let's just jump right into the video. Now i'm not really sure why the color or the saturation or whatever it is. You want to call it, i'm not really tech savvy, so i don't know, but i'm not sure why she's showing up looking so orange, so i need to go in and adjust or fix the camera. It'S like. I don't know what i was playing around with the settings or whatever, basically just still trying to learn the cameras like i'll be messing stuff up, so i probably should have left the damn thing along, but whatever we're just gon na move forward, um, you guys just See me now uh, taking out the portions of her hair, where we're going to do the curly baby hair and i did straighten most of her hair off of camera. I just went ahead and did a pass through her hair and yeah. That'S what we did so far now i am sectioning off her hair from ear to ear and i'm going to put the top section or the front section, i'm going to put that off or tie that off so that it's out of our way and then i'm Just going to go ahead and i am going to start the molding process for the high curly ponytail now right, where you see the line, is that or whatever oh yeah? I did forget to tell you guys she did she initially. This is my sister, that's who she is. She initially showed me a megan, the stallion ponytail, video or whatever, and she had a cute curly ponytail and it was like cut in half i'll insert the video if i still have it, but that's the look that we were going for. That'S why i pulled out the baby hair at the back now she had ended up changing her mind and i know she was going to change her mind. I wouldn't have pulled out the hair in the back. The ponytail was originally supposed to be cut so that it had like a blunt cut to it. But again she changed her mind. What she's saying you know um. I guess she just changed her mind um, but anyway, i'm just taking some beeswax and i am just applying that sporadically throughout the hair, i'm not applying too too much, because i don't want the hair to be so hard and you know unmovable, but i am applying A good amount of product, and then i'm just going to comb that through the hair with my uh, what is called this called my rat tail and once i have that smooth thoroughly throughout the hair, i'm going to like set it in place with the got to Be freeze spray now see i try doing ponytails with both the freeze spray, um well with the freeze spray by itself and also with just beeswax, and i find that i don't necessarily like the ponytail with just the freeze spray. I don't like the hardness that it gives like i just i don't like it, so i prefer to use a little beeswax and a little bit of the got2b spray um. But that's what you'll see me doing here. That'S really all what ponytails are about, especially if you want a sleek ponytail, it's about sectioning off the hair. So that's what you'll see me doing and just um completing those sections and rubber banding it off and moving to the next section. I think i did maybe about yeah. I did one section for the back and then for the front, where i really wanted it to be the most sleek. I think i did either two sections or three i'm not really sure, but you guys will see in the video um so yeah, that's pretty much what i have done so far like i said this ponytail video was supposed to be inspired by megan the stallion, but She changed her mind. I will insert the video or whatever, if i can find it so that you guys can see why i left the pony. I mean, while i left the hair out in the back, so don't come for me. You guys, please don't comfort me. She changed her mind at the last minute, otherwise i wouldn't have kept the hair out because there really was no point in keeping the hair out cause. You couldn't see it because the ponytail was so long, but yeah we're just rolling with it um. So i'm just brushing her hair in place, making sure everything is smooth and once everything is smooth to my liking. I am then going in with cool air with my blow dryer and just setting everything into place and then i'm going to rubber band it now. Let me tell you me: i don't make the ponytail extremely extremely extremely tight. I go in um with two rubber bands and i get it not tight because again i don't want stress or tension on the hair because i don't want for it to. You know like break you know or for her to experience breakage, so i just go in and i get the rubber band um semi-tight and then i just go in with another set of rubber bands and just tie it or minor. So that'll give it that tight appearance when it's really not tight at all. I don't know if that makes sense, but hopefully you guys get what i'm saying it's okay! So now that we have the rubber bands and i'm going to go in with the freeze spray to lock everything in place, i'm going to comb it through and then i'm going to set it with my blow dryer on cool air, then i'm just gon na go Ahead - and i am going to put this back section of hair into a french braid and i'm gon na move on to the top section of the hair and basically repeat the same thing that i did for the back. Except this time i'm going to use - or i'm going to do a few more sections in just the one section that i did in the back. But everything is pretty much the same. I just section off the hair beads wax it comb it into place rubber band. It and freeze spray it. So that's pretty much what i do so i'll be back when it's time for us to install the ponytail um. I just want you is um, okay, we are me myself. Maybe you don't even take trouble. Okay, so now with installing the ponytail um, as you guys can see already, i did put some strips around the perimeter of her hair just to help mold and keep everything in place and i'm also putting the strips around the base of her ponytail because we're going To install this ponytail using glue - and i don't want any of it - to get on her hair, so this is the water curl hair it's in 30 inches. I don't remember the brand name, but i will do my very very best to link it below in the description box, but we're just going to start with placing some glue on the strips of that um on the strips and we're just going to wrap that ponytail Up, so that's pretty much all i do with the extended ponytail i just place glue on the strips and just wrap the hair moving upwards. Now i did want to mention that this hair in particular um. I think it was either 10 or 11 dollars a pack. So, no more than 25 for both bundles of hair, and let me tell you guys, i actually really really really love this hair. Okay and i'm actually gon na go get something for myself, because when i tell you this hair was like extremely soft. I mean like extremely soft, and i was like pleasantly surprised. You know, since it's like hair, that's on the cheaper side. You know, and it was very easy to work with and um. I showed a small clip, but this hair also can take heat um, because the the band that you see me wrapping around, like that's the actual hair from the ponytail, is not braiding hair or anything like that. So i was actually surprised that the hair could take heat as well. So i'm just wrapping this uh section of the hair, i'm wrapping that around the base of the ponytail and then we are just going to brush everything out. Um we're not going to fully brush it out. You know we're just going to create that. Like tease look if that makes sense, you know, but i don't want to brush it out too much, because i still want the curl pattern to show. But let me tell you: this hair was like so easy and so many manageable to work with so now we're just going in and we're curling the hair at the ends we're just putting some basic flat iron curls in there um again. This part of the hair was supposed to be left out initially um, but again, like i said she ended up, not cutting the ponytail but um. That'S all i'm doing to also create the baby hairs at the front. The curly baby hairs at the front we're just going to put some regular flat iron curls in it. Now that is pretty much it. I told you guys it's very easy to recreate this ponytail, it's like so cute and it's like very girly, and it's like.
