Oh my gosh Focus. If you beside me, I become unraveled okay, hi guys so today, I'm gon na be installing a ponytail and showing you guys how I do my hair when it comes to a ponytail. I just washed my hair, I didn't even put anything - and I just washed my hair with shampoo and that's basically it it's been drying a bit, so I'm gon na have to wet it again to get the full effect. Okay, Okay cool, so I got this hair from the store and, to be honest, I have never put it on my head, this exact ponytail, so it's gon na be a surprise for both of us. Hopefully, it's gon na look good. I know it's gon na. Can I'm not saying no, I think it's gon na look good, okay, um, but since I washed my hair, there's no gel, no, nothing! I'M about to wet it again and then slick it back. So what we're gon na be looking at is a high ponytail, because I, like my ponytails High most times, let me give you guys a better angle kind of a bit further, so I'm going to be doing my hair over here, okay, okay, this works. This works. Let me first show you guys what hair I'm gon na be using. So this is the hair that I'm using it's from Tessa ponytail and it looks like looks like this pretty short shirt that I wanted to be honest, it's 18 inches and if I don't end up liking it I'm just gon na get this other one I have, But it's kind of cute, but I wanted it to be longer. You know I'm a 22 inch kind of gal when it comes like extensions. I like them very long. I don't want them short because the point of getting short hair, if I can just straighten it type of things. So when I saw this, I was like no way no way. I should have asked for the receipt, but I think I can still return it, but, like the hair feels nice in my hands, the synthetic hair feels nice and smooth and soft um. So we'll see how it goes. I'M pretty sad that it's this short like it's pretty short for me anyway. Okay, let's get started. What is that? Is that conditioner, it's not so all I did, as I said prior was just um washed, my hair in the shower nothing too technical, shea moisture shampoo. Then I comb through my hair, I mean I brushed through my hair with this liquid thing little thing, but before brushing through my hair, I use my what is it called my pick, because I wanted to get it all smoothed out. So first, I use the pick. If you guys don't know what a pink looks like this is what it looks like and then I went over it with my brush. So now, let's add water in our spray bottle and then spray our hair. What is it my hair feels super dry? Oh God so make sure you wet your hair. You will need this little guy like a brush like this. I don't know if you guys can see it a brush like this. This is what you'll need. Oh my God, there's a fingerprint on the lens. No tell you, then I rush it back. Oh he's wrapped right accordingly, please. This is me talking to my hair, my hair acting brand new okay, nice just brush. It back, make sure it's wet. The reason why I wet my hair is so that the jelly isn't too crusty. So that's the main reason why I do that. I just add gel. Just like sir look at this. It'S pretty, I don't know like it's, not soft type of thing. Okay, cool! This is for my birthday dinner that I'm having tomorrow, make sure everything is slick, make sure everything is smooth or best results. I'M gon na add a bit more gel yeah, I think, is nice and smooth. Don'T worry about the back. If it does not look perfect, your ponytail, I'm gon na hide the back. So don't worry about the back, keep on forgetting to look at you guys, and I look at the viewfinder and you won't. Let me tell you this saves me so many times when I'm just not in the mood to do my hair. This is the easiest thing to do, but don't um become dependent on the ponytail. That'S uh a mistake that could happen where you're just like yeah. I don't feel pretty without a ponytail. No, you guys are gorgeous in your natural, your natural hair, so don't become dependent. Your ponytails, because, like we have ourselves forever so might as well start appreciating ourselves now, rather than later. You know and work on our insecurities and all that you guys have a cute little ponytail, just tiny, tiny like this. Okay and it's fine. If it's a bit crooked, No One's Gon na see it. I promise I have such a weird shaped head. Look it's a bit! It'S a bit! Wonky yeah, but let me tell you: no one is gon na better night, like no one, No One's Gon na notice. This is a front to the side. This is the back, so it definitely doesn't look perfect, but I'm telling you once you put on edges and once you put on the ponytail, no one is gon na notice it and the reason why I also like doing it right when my hair is out of The shower it looks the smoothest, so I recommend you to use freshly washed hair rather than like hair. That'S not freshly washed! This brush. Whenever it comes to my edges, I always like the brush. Just I run down to the brush water and then I like, just you, know, just put like a smudge. Well, this is the gel I'm using I'm using extreme gel in case you guys are wondering which show I use. Extreme Gel looks like this. I mean it works for my hair. I like it better than edge control because it has aloe vera and it says real 24 hour. Extreme control like it holds your hair and it's true mostly if it's fresh, but if you've been layering gel on top of gel. It'S not it's not gon na give you the best results because, like you're layering like crusty hair with like more gel, so it's not gon na. Look that good if you've been layering it for days, but for like the first I would say three days: it's got. You yesterday I laid my hair. I have been putting on your laptop of it and it looks so crusty I put on some water in my hair. That'S what I do. That'S the trick to not have crusty hair put on water for me personally works and then put on the gel okay cool. Let'S move on make sure you don't put too too much gel on the brush just because he gives the best results when it's not too much gel, so I'm gon na be looking at the mirror over there. That'S the first! Let me do my whole head, I'm so sorry. I can't I can do it here, but I'll come back when I'm done doing my edges, but that's how I lay my edges. I love wide swoops like wide swoops like this. Well, if you have my hair texture conditional, also works really well um, I would say: conditioner works better than gel. To be honest like it's, it just looks shinier it won't last as long, but it looks good this. What else I like doing is taking back these hairs like it makes such a difference for some reason, like just sneaking back these hairs. The only thing that I don't like about this hair is that it's not jet black. Like my hair, I dyed it a few months ago and two jet black and it's just jet black. Does it match and you can tell it's added on when you come closer, you can see the the lace so we're actually gon na have to get a bigger piece to wrap it around. This is the final look. It'S actually pretty cool! Oh my God! Now my hair's so leaky, but let's make it a bit thicker a bit Fuller just because I don't need to look too faint guys, I'm kind of disappointed, but like this will do this will do um and if you want it to be a bit flatter. Just add a bit of water in your hands a bit of gel it's gon na. If you have any fire weights at the top, it's gon na slip it down slick it down but yeah. So this is my hair sideways Francis. If you, what I don't like about this, is that she can definitely tell it's not my real hair and that's one thing I don't like about this hair um, but just because the color, just the color, doesn't match things like this. Just piss me off so much because I'm not gon na go back because who has that time, I'm actually so mad. Oh, I just like everything perfect, because I have a birthday dinner tomorrow, so I just want everything to look perfect, nothing to look fake. Maybe my lashes but like I don't want anything else to look fake, so I'm very, very disappointed just in the color, but aside from that, it's pretty nice um, just the color just doesn't match my hair. You guys would think it does on camera, but like in real life. It doesn't. It doesn't match my hair, because I'm actually so mad, because my natural hair color is is like a natural brown, but, like my hair is dyed black now. So am I honestly just not wear it because it looks so fake, like it looks so thick when your natural hair is flat, maybe I'm just being extra. It'S not horrible, but I just like everything to be perfect. It'S fine! You guys are getting a bit of drama today, um so yeah, it's pretty cute, I guess final product. I hope this is useful.
