Unice Wrap Around Ponytail | 2 Textures | Perfect Protective Styles To Beat The Heat

Hey guys for all the details on this and this ponytail from united's hair, keep watching hey guys, welcome back if you're new here welcome on my channel, i do so many different things from wig reviews, hair tutorials, clothing, hauls, diys recipes and even an occasional vlog. So in today's video i'm going to be showing you two different ponytails from you, nice hair, one is going to be a body wave and the other is a kinky curly texture. So this is actually the first ponytail. So in this video it's going to be pretty much a complete voice over from start to finish, i'm going to show you my unboxing and my install and during my install of these two different ponytails, i'm going to be providing you with my pros and cons. So without further ado, i'm gon na go ahead and jump to my unboxing and then my two installs. So you know what to do. Keep watching all right. Guys here is the beautiful bag that the pony's tails came in. So let's go ahead and open this up and see what's inside, so of course the ponytails, but look at all of these goodies. So first is this pair of lashes. Also, this black, you, nice elastic band pack of wig caps and also this extra bag. That has some more goodies lashes, a makeup brush that was super soft. Also, this beautiful brown satin bonnet, another elastic band and this beautiful, pink satin rope that says you nice. So now, let's take a look at these ponytails, so the first one is the afro curly ponytail and, as you can see, that beautiful texture, as far as the construction has one comb in the middle, also the velcro piece and the hair to wrap around the base. Both ponytails are 24 inches and then the color natural black. So i'm going to go ahead and open up the body wave ponytail. So i can show you that one next so same construction on this ponytail, the comb in the middle. Also, the velcro piece to wrap around the base and the hair to also wrap around the base of the ponytail. Very pretty texture hair is super soft, but i did go ahead and dye both of these ponytails jet black to match my own hair color. So before anything, i had to throw on this pink satin robe that says you nice, absolutely gorgeous. First ponytail, i'm going to install is going to be the body wave. So first step is to section off the bang. So i just made a u-shaped part and i'm going to clip that away with one of my clips for the rest of my hair. I am going to brush that up into a high ponytail and then secure it with an elastic band. My hair is freshly relaxed and straightened so to mold. This ponytail is going to be a breeze. However, if you are natural, you do have the option of a wet mold or if you have a silk press, then you can just use the same method that i am using now. So, as you see, i just grabbed an elastic band to secure this ponytail and with the ends of the ponytail, i'm just wrapping it around as a bun and securing with a rubber band and now, with some style factor edge, booster, my go to edge control, i'm Putting that around my edges and using my edge brush to brush my edges up - and i know you saw that i had quite a few flyaways that did not reach my ponytail. So i'm going to use my regular brush to brush the back of my hair and now with my sebastian hairspray just spraying all around my ponytail. I want my ponytail to be as sleek as possible. So now i'm just using a satin scarf to tie around my hair for about 10 minutes. So now it's time to install this ponytail. So i showed you before that the construction has a comb right there in the middle. So i'm just inserting that comb in the base of my ponytail and just wrapping that kind of lace, that's attached to the ponytail around my little bun there and securing it with the velcro. Now i'm taking the hairs that are designated for the base of the ponytail and wrapping the hair right around the base of the ponytail, and then i will secure with a bobby pin also to make the hairs around the base super sleek, i'm using that same sebastian. Hairspray spraying it on and combing it through before, wrapping around and now just securing it with the bobby pins. The ponytail in itself only takes about a minute to install, so i would call that super quick and super easy and definitely beginner friendly. Now i'm going to throw some quick curls into this ponytail. So again, this is a body wave texture, you're more than welcome to leave the curl pattern, as is, i did dye and co-wash this ponytail before installing. So that's why the texture looks a little different than it was straight out of the box. It does still have a slight wave to it, but i'm gon na add some cute spiral curls to it. So all i'm doing is just taking my con air curling iron and curling towards the back, i'm curling all of the hair in the same direction, because i want it to be like a spiral curl. Let'S talk about the density of this ponytail for just a moment. So as soon as i got the ponytail out of the box, i was a little afraid that the hair was not enough. However, i do think it is enough hair on this ponytail for a full look, so only about five curls, and that was all that i needed now that my curls are done. I'M going to give it a quick finger comb just to combine all of those curls into one spiral. I did end up separating the curls so instead of that one spiral, i had lots of curls because i wanted a fuller look. So now i'm gon na go ahead and take off my scarf. So i can finish this style now, it's time to work on this bang, so i'm just splitting it into two combing through a little bit now taking my flat iron and curling towards the back trying to give it that same kind of spiral as the ponytail and A quick comb through with my brush and a little light hold hairspray, and that's it. Let me turn around, so i can show you all angles, and here are a few pictures that i took to showcase the hair. So next up is the afro curly ponytail and, as you can see, i already have my hair parted in the middle, i'm just taking some of my eco styler gel the olive oil one and brushing my hair into a low ponytail again my hair is relaxed. However, i feel like with this texture of a ponytail i feel like natural hair with those beautiful waves would work perfectly with this texture. So all i'm doing is securing the ponytail with an elastic band using some more eco styler gel to just lay down my flyaways and just brushing the hair down. And now i'm putting a little bit of style factor, edge booster edge control around my edges and using my edge brush to brush my edges down with the ends of my ponytail, i'm going to wrap those around into a little bun and again securing it with a Rubber band now that my mold is done it's time to install this ponytail. So look at this beautiful texture after the ponytail has been dyed and co-washed and air dried with a little bit of curling foam. So i'm just taking that middle comb and putting it right in the base of my ponytail, then wrapping the ponytail around and securing it with the velcro. Now i'm taking this piece, that's designated for the base and just wrapping it around the base of the ponytail and securing it with a bobby pin. I appreciate that the hair that's designated for the base of the ponytail is in a straighter texture instead of the curly that way it's easier to wrap around the base, so now just taking some sebastian hairspray and spraying it at the base, and that is it. I absolutely love this curl pattern, so defined absolutely gorgeous lightweight easy to install and these ponytails super affordable as well, and since the ponytails are constructed so well, you can use them over and over and over again, ponytails have been my go-to hairstyle all summer, and these Two will definitely be kept in rotation, so i'm going to turn around, so i can show you the back and that swing action, but that is it for this video again.
