Guys welcome back to my channel or welcome if you are new, my name is julia johnson and i am so excited for today's video. I know i say that all the time, but i am seriously so pumped because we're gon na be trying out two new products that insert name here has sent me. I know you guys are not here to listen to me babble. So, let's just get right into the video as always, first things. First, if you are new to this channel, please hit that subscribe button. First of all, if you have not heard of insert name here, you need to look them up on instagram after this video uh, but they're really seriously. Just like a one-stop shop, hair solution like honestly, they have everything and they are the cutest little store. Oh, my gosh everything they have. I want to try um, but today they have sent me the maya, ruby pony. It is a 24 inch, ponytail um, and so i i cannot wait to try that. But i'm going to show you guys a couple of different ways that you can wear this. Obviously you can do like the slicked back high pony and i'll show you that and show you how to put it in. It is the easiest thing ever like seriously so easy. I have not done um a pony before and it took me like 30 seconds to like get it in the first time it looked fantastic like i just played around with it um i've done like regular extensions. Like i've tried those i've never done a ponytail and it was seriously so extremely easy um, but they also sent me this the insert name here waver and i'm so excited to try this um. I have not tried this at all, so you guys will be seeing this first first impressions and all that, but guys it's pink, it's pink. It'S actually pink. I was so excited about that. I don't know why i didn't know it was gon na be pink. I don't know, but anyway, it's so cute, so i'm excited about that. It even has a pink glove. Like look at this, i never wear the gloves. I'M really bad. I never wear them, but i'm probably gon na wear this, because it's pink um but anyway so we're gon na try the pony first so yeah, but i did want it to. I did want to give you guys a quick little disclaimer on my hair, not the product, my personal hair um. I, if you guys, have been around for any amount of time on this channel. You know that i've had this really bright, ruby red, like cherry red hair and i've done really good at like maintaining it like every week. I feel like i do quite a bit to keep it red because it is a fashion color. It does fade fairly fast. Well, it has been getting so like it does not look, hardly red at all here, at least not like it has been um and i figured out. I have not been able to figure out why i've been doing the same things. We'Ve been dying. At the same time, i've been going this long, the same amount of time. I'Ve been doing the upkeep, so i couldn't figure it out finally realized. I think it's the pool, it's the only thing that has changed the last month or so, and i went and this week for sure i was like okay, that's definitely it because i think i've swam, like maybe four times this week and the salt water. I i like it's gotten the dullest, so i just wanted to say a little bit. The ponytail is probably going to be a little bit off, because when i sent them the picture um i sent them of my bright cherry red hair and it was the most perfect match ever so that is one thing i wanted to say about this company. Is their customer service is fantastic and they color match really really really well. They do have a quiz on um on their site that you can like color match, use their quiz go on instagram and look that up, but you also, if you're, not sure um. Like me, you can just dm them on instagram and they will like send them a picture of your natural hair. I'Ll show you the picture that i sent them and they will color match it, and it was like flawless, and i was a little bit nervous because red hair is really hard to match, especially if you can't see it in person, and i mean when i tell You it was the exact same shade like it literally looked like it was just a chunk of my hair. So anyway, i just wanted to say that so, if you are like me and you're kind of worried about color matching send it to them. But again it's going to be a tiny bit off today, because this is what my hair normally looks like, and this is what my hair looks like from the pool. So just keep that in mind. But look at this look at this hair. Look, how beautiful it is it's so long. It'S so beautiful! Look at this okay! So here is again. This is the maya um. They all have different names, so make sure that you look because they're all a little different, but this is the maya it's 24 inch and this is in the ruby. So this um is what it comes out with, and i love that they even have the bobby pins in here. For you, like, you, have to do nothing, you don't need to provide anything to put this in your hair. They literally put the bobby pins. That is so just wonderful, um anyway. It has this little scrunchie around it that and it had, it came in a net as well. So that's i would keep that personally just to be able to wrap it up in. That makes it really easy to keep it. Nice and um like smooth and everything, but this is like this just feels like my hair. This feels like actually what i wish my hair in my head. What i want my hair to be like, because it's so thick and luxurious um and then but anyway, what makes it a pony it has. This is what it looks like in the back. So it has this little shape right here and this let's see if i can bend it, so you can kind of see here's the little clip. This is what's going to go into the top of your ponytail and then what makes this so cool is that it has this little thing this already wrap, so you don't have to take part of this and wrap it around. You get to keep that full thickness in the ponytail and just wrap this sucker around and then bobby pin it. So i will show you how we do that, but i just wanted to show you the hair first off because guys it's so silky, it's so smooth. There'S no tangles, you know how you get some. Sometimes it's like the cheaper ones and you try to do your hand through them and it's just like everything just starts kind of like tangling up and then you know it's real, cheap hair. This does not do that. This is so beautiful, it's so pretty i've taken it out of the package a couple of times to play around with it. So i could show you guys exactly like you know the best ways to do it and it still just looks beautiful, so we're gon na put this in, but first i'm going to put my hair into the ponytail that i would like to be able to put This in so, let's do that in order to get that ponytail and have like the middle part in there um. I already started pulling this side up, but i'm just going to show you. I normally pull the back part up and then i start doing, leave the front down, and then i start pulling the sides just to kind of be able to play with the part a little bit more and have a little bit more of a part right there. Just a little trick: okay! So then i'm just gon na do this real easy and again, i'm gon na put the pony on there. So there's you want to make sure that it's tight, but you don't have. It doesn't have to look super great right there. Okay, so this is my before nice and short, okay. So now i'm gon na take my maya pony, okay, so you're just going to take this little clip, and that goes right over the top okay and then it goes down just kind of push that around and then i'm going to take. If i took the bobby pins out, i'm actually just gon na do that. Okay, so this guy goes under and then you see there's already the velcro up here, just position that a little bit better and then you just start wrapping it. And then you take the extra hair and wrap it. Keep wrapping okay seriously, look how adorably cute that is and how much hairs this is like hair of my dreams right here like i wish. This just grew out of my head seriously. I mean look at how beautiful this is. Oh, it's gorgeous. Okay, so from here, so here's this is the you know classic pony you do. This looks adorable so cute, or what i wanted to show you guys is that you don't have to just use this as just a ponytail like this literally works for buns. Like literally look how much hair you don't even have to work on it being a messy bun, because it's literally just you have so much that it's going to look like a cute little messy bun, no matter what you do um, but i also wanted to show You guys i'm going to do it down low now and i wanted to show you guys, a braid and like a quick little updo, because this would be really fun for that. So let me take this out really quick and actually i'll just show you guys, because you can see how incredibly fast it would be. So you just find the wrap part and there you go okay. So now i'm going to go ahead and do like a lower pony, like i said, be right back okay, so i decided to do like a side pony we'll see how this works um, but i think that that's gon na be what i'm going for a little Bit more so again, just clip it and wrap it. Oh my gosh seriously that takes like 30 seconds guys. Have you ever known of something so fast to make. You look so fabulous seriously like 30 seconds, and then i have all this luxurious, hair. Okay! So then, i'm going to just do like a little braid and then you can have you know all of this hair and your hair like see. Look, i can pull it out and i'm just going to braid it in and you'll see that it just kind of goes with the rest of it. I mean look at that. I just feel like it's rapunzel hair, you know so so long. Okay, i dropped my bobby pin okay, so you could literally leave it like this, which is super cute as well. Okay, but seriously. This is so cute, like so much hair. Okay, so i'm showing you another third option, which is the updo um, and i put my pony a little bit more, like oh hello, bump um in the middle just so it's got like a lot of grip. You know it's not super low and just hang in there, so i'm gon na put this back on, but i just wanted to show you guys this, because i used to do bridal, hair um for a short amount of time, but i loved it or like formal, Like type hair, because back in the day i did go to hair school um, i didn't do much with it to be honest, but i did do that and i loved it. But anyway, all that to say um i would have brides or people like going to prom or stuff like that and they'd say well. I didn't get extensions because i decided to do an updo and i thought: well, you don't need them for an updo um. I think i'm gon na try to decide what i'm gon na do. I think i'm gon na braid this this side. I split it into two now i'm gon na braid this uh, but they would say you know i don't. I didn't need um extensions for an updo and um, but then they would give me these hairstyles off of pinterest and all of them had extensions, and nobody has that much hair kind of thing right, um, so we'd be doing them. I'D be like you know what you really, if you want it to be this thick like we can, we can fake it a little bit but like not to the extent of this picture type of thing and everybody was always shocked, which it is i mean you Think that it you wouldn't need it um, and then i had so many people say that they didn't want to get extensions. They didn't want it to show they didn't want to mess with it. So this would have been a really really good option like i wish. I had thought about this before, but playing around with it. I'M like this would be a great option for an updo um, just to be able, and i'm just going to start like kind of um. Actually, you know what i'm gon na, pin it i'm gon na. Do this um just to be able to have like a little bit of extra volume, but it just be like down at the bottom and not um. You know the top of your hair and all that too, because i don't know just just a good option so anyway. I just want to show you guys, because i wish i had known about this. When i was doing hair, i would have recommended it now. I'M recommending it now, i think i'm going to leave that for a second. I think i'm actually going to braid this side too, because i like how that's turning out um, just a quick little easy updo, but yeah. So this would be great for brides bridesmaids, whatever going to a formal event like i mean what a quick and easy thing to just have the extension just be on the bottom part. You know such a great idea genius genius of me, i'm just kidding, i'm sure other people do this, but anyway yeah, if you guys have not seen um. Just another thing that you can do with this i'll show you the back and it honestly it feels really really like good, like i just used those pins um that you guys saw, and it feels really secure um, but i have all this hair now. So that's so exciting! I love it, but yes, okay, so we're gon na try the waiver next, but again, this is the maya comes in this cute little package um, but you guys got ta check them out. This is seriously so fun comment down below what your favorite was and what you're gon na try. First, the ponytail, the braid or the updo, and let's try the waiver: okay, here's the next product, i'm so excited about this one, because i had like a really old one of these back in the day. I even tried it not that long ago, because i kept it and it just it doesn't get very hot, so it didn't work really well um. But i love the look of this, so i'm so excited to try this one. This one gets up to 450 degrees. Most people don't need it to be that hot. However, my hair is it's nice and sleek, and straight right now, but it's really coarse and curly naturally, and it can handle a lot of heat. Please don't come at me in the comments. I know it's the best for my hair, but it will stay for like a week. It'S okay, it'll save for like a week. If i do it hot and then i don't touch it with heat, so there you go um anyway. This is the cutest. This is the cutest aesthetic ever it's pink, it's got like the whitish white and like really red light gray, even this little dial is pink. It is so so stinking cute. Oh my gosh, the cord look at this. The zip tie is even pink. I mean i kind of don't even want to cut it because of that so cute seriously, they are very detailed. I feel like they think of literally everything. So, okay, let me plug this in and get it nice and toasty. Okay, so there's off, and then you just turn it on and up it. I'M gon na do 450. Please don't come at me um. It has this little guy. So that's good um yeah! So i'm gon na do this i'm gon na. Let that sit for a second and then i wanted to show you guys, look what else they sent me. I didn't know they were gon na. Send me this and it's so cute. This is their um jelly. I think it's their jelly. I could be wrong. I saw this online. I thought it was so cute. Oh they're, pink, glitter chocolate, so that was so exciting. Thank you guys for sending me this, but look how cute it's sparkly and it's nice and thick it'll just be like a good um good hold. Oh, and it opens easy. You know you get some clips and it's like really hard to put them in your hair. They don't open easy, that's not that's easy, okay and then there's a super cute little glove like i said i don't normally wear these, i'm really bad at wearing them, but i'm wearing it today because it's cute okay. So what i'm gon na do is i'm going to do the bottom. I normally do about three sections for my hair. I'M going to pin this on the top with my cute new, pink clip. Okay, now i'm gon na start okay, so i'm just gon na hold it, and then, if i remember right, the trick last time was to kind of go down and put it onto the last crinkle and kind of like let it go like that. I don't know if i'm doing it long enough, we'll see, i don't think i should have pulled it either. We'Re gon na be doing this. We'Re gon na be learning this together. Okay, no, i pulled it. Okay, i can see a little bit of a crinkle there, but we're going to try this again because i don't think you're supposed to pull it through all right. So let's try this. I think i might have gotten too big of a piece. Okay, try this again don't pull through leave it on. It'S been a very long time since i've used a waiver, i don't remember how to do it. Okay, there we go. Okay, let's see the front piece. You guys can actually see it like it's working, it's working! It'S working, i love doing my hair like this when it gets like humid out because, like i said, my hair is naturally curly, and so, if there's any sort of humidity, it will get kind of like crinkly at the roots and stuff. But if i do this, it kind of like hides it a little bit. You know, plus it's just cute. Oh look at that. There we go. I think that now it's fully heated up. Oh that's! So pretty i love it. Okay, let's do one! Oh my gosh. How cute is that so cute? The answer is so cute. Okay, let's do this that took like zero time at all. Okay again, oh it's twelve or four literally took one minute to do that. Whole part. Oh my gosh. If this takes me less than ten minutes to do my whole head of hair, i'm going to be so excited so excited okay right now, i'm standing in a corner i see from across the moon, it's kind of crowded here, but i know you see me too. Everybody'S singing, oh everybody's singing - i don't know what it is about you. It must be in the way you move just say you want me to we've, got nothing new. Now, i'm moving closer to you and it's getting dark in this room. Tell me what you wan na do, yes, so shiny. I love that so shiny all right. I'M gon na do this too, just because again, it's front piece, so i just usually always go over these pieces a couple times, curls whatever i do. Oh so good! I love the beach waves. I just seriously feel like a mermaid. I love it and i feel like it gives you texture curl, but it's still smooth like. If i were to just let my hair go natural, it gets so frizzy and the next day it doesn't look good this. I can wear it as long as i would if i straightened it or curled it. So i love that, but it has the more you know natural look, even though it takes a while to get the actual look, i'm just putting oil in my hair, like i always do. I always just run it through my ends, anytime. I use heat on my hair and yeah. That is all i'm gon na. Do i don't use hairspray very often. Obviously, if you use hairspray spray, your hair um, the smell messes with my allergies, but since my hair is curly texture normally i don't typically need it for it to last. So that's helpful. My nose can't handle it. So thankfully my hair can anyway. So that is all i'm going to do, but seriously look at how cute this is absolutely love. This 10 out of 10 recommend this so easy seriously. I think that took like 10 what'd, i say 12 13 minutes. Anything less than 15 is like. I can't believe that, ah so cute, okay, guys, that is it. That is all i'm going to show you today.
