My Go-To Hairstyles | Beachy Waves & Perfect Ponytail

Hi guys welcome back to my channel today we are going to be doing a hair tutorial, so I'm gon na show you guys. Three different looks that I do all the time there might go. Two hairstyles you guys have asked how I get mine. I, like wavy curls, that I do all the time I'm gon na show you guys how I do that. I'M gon na show you guys how I do kind of my half-up half-down messy bun situation and then also how I do this specific ponytail that I do all the time. So I have a few tips in the mix of all that stuff. Also, if my hair looks a little bit crazy right now, it's because I put coconut oil in my hair before I went to bed last night, which is actually great but just make sure you don't put too much in and that when you take a shower, you Get it all out, because my hair is a bit oily, and so I used some dry shampoo to kind of just try to help out the situation and putting more in still looking oily. But hopefully we can accomplish this curl. We can't but yeah. So, let's just get into this video okay, so the first thing is that I'm going to do is use this little clip, guide and love. You flippy things and I'm going to separate my hair. I usually do it in three different layers, which is a very bottom. The middle and the very top - and so I'm just going to very awkwardly clip this era, and so I'm just gon na grab this piece and I'm using this curling iron for this, this is Ixtapa is the name of it and it is fantastic. So what I do - and I just grab this piece of - if I go like this - and I just pull my hair down through and just like - it's pretty much all you're doing - is you're putting your hair in the position that you want it to look. That'S pretty much all you're doing so, instead of like curling this way, like most people, do I just hold it down and then wrap my hair around the curling iron. It just makes it so easy and just creates the perfect little wavy curl. I am obsessed with curling irons that have this little swivel. It just makes it so much easier to move your curling iron around. That'S like one thing that I look for when I look at curling iron. Something does it have this swivel cord, so just holding this guy down like this. For me, this takes a bit of time, obviously, because you're curling like each piece of your hair in different layers, but it's so worth it because whenever I do this, it lasts for days and your hair will just stay in these curls so nicely, and it just Looks so beautiful now that I have this bottom section complete I'm going to take this out and do one other layer, so I'm just gon na do the very tip top here. Take that away. I feel like this part of my head is like the most important part when I'm curling it, so I like to do it last and just give it the attention it deserves. I'M going to brush through this second section, really quick, just super lightly. This curling iron is ceramic which is safer for your hair than other curling irons, and it also has specific ions in it that helps lock in the moisture, because when you blow-dry your hair, your hair can tend to get super dry from that experience. So I really like that this curling iron specific eye on subtext scientific, but it really does to help lock in all that moisture. When I'm finished curling the top pieces, I will just go in and very lightly with my brush just kind of go over. My curls kind of just pulls them together and just makes them like kind of connect which ends up looking really nice. So that is the finished look. If you want this crown, and now I'm going to show you guys how I do it, this little little messy bun type situation, all you need for this one is a hair tie and two bobby pins. I only go with two, because that's all you need we like to keep it simple up in here and right now that Paloma and Sun laughing at me. We can do this half-up half-down situation, I'm just going to put this like this okay, okay, so we are going to take this piece of hair. I do a little bit less than B half up half down that you're used to from like grade school. Remember when we were young used to like grab this, all of this would do. I have no cut down this. One is like just the tippy top line of that. I'M gon na turn and you just grab this top piece here and then you just kind of wrap around like so I think, if you're just doing a regular, half-up half-down and then this last one I grab and pull through like this and make a little loop And then pull tight like this, I like it when you can see the bun at the top, as opposed to it just being like down here. Sometimes it's gon na be a little bit lopsided. Mine, usually is, but you know what that's okay, because to me I feel like this hairstyle. You want it to feel like it's a mess which is like kind of random and weird, but you do like you come I'm serious. You wan na, like put like you, want it to look like you, just threw it up in a ponytail or in a messy half-up half-down like that's. Why I feel like this style is so cute, because it's just like that effortless, like I'm just gon na, throw it up, because I want half of my hair up and then I just grab the bobby pin and I place the button kind of where I want It and like give it like a little bit more of a bun shape, and then you got this like cute little messy bun on the top of your head and you're, just like that was effortless and fun. And then you have like this piece. That'S hanging down from the button that like gives you a little bit more volume in the back and that's it, and this is like my favorite thing. I just think it's so cute so yeah, so I just took out the messy half-up half-down and now I'm going to show you guys. This really easy way that I do ponytail is super simple, that it's kind of silly that I'm even showing you. But I get questions about it all the time and this is my go-to ponytail and I have a little tip that I do and I feel like I've talked about it on my channel before, but I've gotten this question still. So I all the questions, everybody one. So that, oh no I'm just kidding but really like it's something that I feel like everyone should know, because it's great so just grab my hair like this, and I put it in the ponytail just like so easy right and I just feel like your hair being Curled like this is so perfect for ponytails cuz. It looks so cute, so I just put it in a normal ponytail right once it's in the ponytail. I grab both sides of the ponytail kind of pull it out and like fix the hair, that's back there, and then I grab these two back pieces and I go like this and what it does is it pulls the ponytail up a little bit kind of gives It like a little bit more perkiness and then I grab the bottom of the ponytail and the top, and I pull them in opposite directions, and what this does is one. It makes your ponytail look longer because it's some of your hair gets like caught up in the band, so it doesn't show the full length of how your long, your ponytail can look. So you pull down on that. It comes down a little bit and then you pull up on here - and this gives you volume on the top of your ponytail. So you've got this like really cute long, perky ponytail. If you do it this way, and then I go over to the front - and I pull here because it loosens it up to make it look like a little bit more like effortless and comfortable and more of like that, like messy, look and then I just grab Whatever pieces I want, I usually grab pieces like right where, like a sideburn, would be actually love sideburns, but I mean you know, that's thing um, so I just grab these little pieces here and then these pieces and then you can go in and grab some bobby Pins and just kind of place where, because when you pull your hair right here, it kind of like might get a little bit crazy. So you really only need like two bobby pins for this part, and you just like do one over there and one over here to just kind of tame those crazy pieces and then just kind of play around with it. Pull it and like put it in the areas that you feel like looks the best and then throughout the day, this will stick really well but like throughout the day, you can kind of just like do this every once in a while, and you just make sure It'S still doing its thing, alright, that is it for this video.
