Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so for the longest time I have wanted to wear a high pony with a ball cap I never could, but up until today I was able to figure out a way to do it and I'm so happy because now I Can actually sport the hairstyle that I like with the accessory that I like as well and its really cute? I showed you how to style your hair well in this ball cap and you can leave it straight. You can leave it curly, whatever you want. This is just a girly, sporty way to wear ball caps that I came up with and I'm so happy about. So I wanted to share it with you guys as well. So if you guys like wearing ball caps - and you want to wear them in a cuter girlier way, then just keep on watching alright. So to start I would grab a hat that maybe isn't your favorite to start with, because you want to practice first and get it down before you just start with your favorite hat and maybe mess up is easy. Once you get the hang of it, I'm gon na start out with this really cute adidas hat and basically what you want to do is take a tape measure flatten your hat out like this. So it's nice and smooth you're gon na take your tape, measure and measure about one inch from this little button. Once you have measured out one inch from this button, you're gon na cut a tiny, tiny slit into the seam right here, just really tiny, but make sure it's pretty defined right here. So you might not be able to see it, but it is tiny and you just want to start it right there, because that's where we're gon na make the actual hole for our ponytail. So just so, you can see where I put that slit it's about right here on the hat. So if I'm looking at the Hat, here's the button and right here is the tiny slit that we've made. This part is gon na depend on your hair type. All you're gon na do is grab some fabric scissors. These are such a must-have for this and where that slit is you're gon na make a 1-inch opening for your ponytail again. If you have thicker hair, you might need to make this a little bigger, but I'm gon na do mine as one inch. So then, I'm just gon na go right into the sea cut down to about one inch. So, as you can see, there's the hole at the top and it's actually really not noticeable when the hat is closed, which is nice. So this is like the perfect tack for wearing your ponytail with this, but there it is, and now we're able to fit our ponytail in here. Just gon na do another hat here, so you can see another example and also on another color and I'm gon na flatten it down again. This is so simple and easy. I promise once you get the hang of it. You'Ll be like doing this. All to your hats, so then I'm gon na take my tape measure measure about one inch from that button. I'M gon na be like great there. I'M gon na make that tiny little slip there you go. You can see the little tiny opening right there right there at the top. I'M gon na take these fabric scissors and cut in the seam, where we made that first opening and go about an inch down and there's the opening and yeah it's perfect. So I'm gon na try this out with my ponytail right now and you can like switch up your ponytail hairstyles. Now that you can actually wear hats with this and it's honestly such a lifesaver. I just put my hair in a high ponytail. I do this first before putting in my curls, because I figure, if I curl my whole head, it's just gon na be really big and I'm not gon na be able to fit it through. The openings so first make a really good pony, and then I'm gon na take my hat and go like this. So you're, just gon na want to feel for where your ponytail is and just pull a little hair through. You don't have to get like all your ponytail through and I'll eventually I'll come through the opening. So all you're gon na do is that here it is, and then I pulled down just like that. Good flatten it out a bit and I tighten the ponytail and that's what it looks like. So you want to leave your hair straight and just keep it like this. You can totally do that, but it works out really well for me because I like to watch a lot of different sports games and I love wearing ball caps like this, but I wear my hair up a lot, so I've never been able to achieve like this Kind of look so, finally, there's a good way to do it, so that's that I think, looks really cute, really sleek, really nice, and now I can wear my hair up with wearing one of these, which is like the best part of it all. I just switched hats, and this is what it looks like with the pink one super cute, but this time I want to change up the hairstyle, so I'm gon na take some heat protectant on the ponytail. Again I curl my hair once it's in the ball cap. Just because it's easier and if I was to curl my hair before this, my curls would get ruined as I was putting it through the opening. So I want to do the curls now so just sprayed up my hair with heat protectant brush it out a little bit and then I'm gon na take a Remington curling wand, this one this one I just turned on so I'll. Take a medium-sized section like this, and what I'll do is just wrap away from my face. Sometimes I'll leave the ends out and count for about ten seconds. As this curl is curling, then what I'll do is just let it drop into my hand like that. If I can, if I can get it and then I'll let it drop like that, it's nothing too crazy. It'S just like a little bit of a wave, but I think it looks a lot cuter. Let'S do that again, it cool a little bit and there you go so I'm gon na do that to the rest of my ponytail wrap it away from my face, always leave the ends out and I'm just gon na count cute. So there look at my hair. Half curled half knot, I usually don't do the sections too too big just because then they'll never hold a curl, but at the same time you want them big enough. So they're like loose and natural-looking, or at least that's how I like them, sometimes I'll wiggle the wand a little bit just like this. Let it drop this one, this curling irons really annoying, though sometimes it goes, it doesn't. Let me hole it doesn't. Let me catch my curl as good as some my other ones cuz. It gets caught on the end here. So, if I'm not catching them, that's why? Let me know what your favorite sports team is and if you're gon na do this DIY, because a it's really easy and simple and B, I just think it looks a lot cuter. If you are a sports fan, or even if you're, not it's just a different way to wear hat, because us girls, I'm telling you for the longest time. I couldn't do this just because it wasn't possible because they put the opening on a hat so low that it was always just for like a low ponytail and I'd always get so annoyed that I wouldn't be able to put a high pony in. Because I wear a high pony all the time. Alright, I'm just gon na finish up this side. I only have a few pieces left and then I'll be back. Basically that is it. I think this DIY is just a lifesaver if you like to wear ball caps and, like I said it's just like a sporty look that I really like to wear, but you can do your hair once it's already up and yeah. Let me know if you guys do this DIY. Let me know your favorite sports team, all that good stuff, because now us girls can rock our high ponies while wearing a ballcap, which is amazing. This needs to be shared with every one of your friends because it saved me, so I hope you liked this, and I will see you in my next video bye.
