Hi everyone. Thank you so much for joining me today. Today I'll be reviewing Rachel light by John Renault in the color 10 rh16. I purchased my Rachel light by Jon renau, both in the in Midnight Coco, as well as in 10 rh16 at wig studio one. I will leave the link for you listed Down Below in the description box. I just received it yesterday and all I did was take it out of the box because it's going to start raining, I'm not sure when this video is going to go up, but I wanted to I wanted to record this before we were hit by Hurricane Ian. It'S supposed to come in through the west, but I'm and I'm on the East Coast, but nevertheless you never know with those hurricanes. I do have a review on Rachel in Midnight Coco, which I will also leave link down for you in the description box, but I wanted to show you the cap. First, both Rachel and Rachel light both have a hand-tied cap. They both have a full monofilament top. The difference is going to be in your density. We have a higher density on the regular Rachel. It weighs 4.5 ounces, while the light weighs 4.2 ounces. The other measurements are really very similar. They'Re, very, very close. The biggest difference is on the sides on the regular Rachel this one that I'm wearing the sides are 10 inches and on the Rachel light the sides are 14 inches. The on the nape there's also a difference with the regular Rachel. The nape is 15 inches and the nape on the new light is 10 inches. The crown on both is the same. It'S 15 inches and the bang is the same on both seven inches. So there is a little bit of a variance with the with the measurements. Not by much, it's mostly has to do with the Cap Construction, which I'm going to show you in just a moment and um and with the density on the new Rachel light. We have an ear to ear lace front. We also have a full monofilament top. We have polyurethane on the ear tabs silicone at the nape and, as you can see, I really have to cinch it in to accommodate my 21 and a half inch circumference this one I had to almost crisscross it and I'll probably have to do the same. For this one all the lights fit me quite large. I have a 21 and a half inch circumference, my front to back my hairline to nape is 12 and a half and my ear to ear is 11 and a half. So if you have measurements similar to mine, you're going to have to cinch it in, if you have a larger circumference, 22, 22 and a half even up to a 23 inch, they will fit you because these, I feel that John Renault hand-tied caps run very large. The ones in the light collection that fit me the best are those that are petite on the ear tabs on the polyurethane there it there are stays, but if you want to add some adhesive, you can certainly do so if you have oily skin it genre no Suggests using the red tape because it provides a higher it has a better hold to it, whereas the white one is a very gentle adhesive on the nape, where we have silicone John Renault suggests not to add any adhesive to the nape. That silicone is there to provide some extra security. If you wanted to add some adhesive to the to the lace front, the ones that are suggested are either the white or the blue. Actually, the blue is the better option for the lace front and it's to be placed right on the sides here always to remove, if you add adhesive, make sure to always add some of the let go from John Renault in order to avoid or avoid any risk Of damaging the lace or your skin by yanking it up, you don't want to do that. The color 10 rh16 is one of my favorite colors, while midnight cocoa is a warm color, because it's a it's a dark base of four and then we have the red Brown and - and we have very bold highlights here in red. This is a warm color while 10 rh16 is a cool color. We have a medium brown and we have 33 percent neutral blonde highlight all right, I'm going to slip on Rachel light and we'll see how it looks. I think they did an incredible job with Rachel light. I love Rachel she's, definitely large on me for sure. I'M gon na have to cinch it in a little bit more or and wear a wig grip. Obviously let me show you the lace front. It is a little bit thick or it is a little bit wide on Rachel light. However, it's not as wide as they used to make them. I think they did a really really nice job with these great coverage on the sides. The density you could tell as soon as I put it on that the density is so much lighter on Rachel light than it is on the regular Rachel. I can't wear off my nape because I have a very low hairline, but the way these lights are designed is, if you want to wear it in a ponytail. You can certainly do that because it's so low density and that um that silicone at the nape, just it just holds the wig right very securely. I can't because my hairline is very low, but if you don't have a low hairline very easily, you can put your um style up in a high ponytail and it's it's going to look very natural. Like again, I can't do it because my hairline is so low. I have seen some members in the group take their like their Miranda light and wear it in a ponytail and show the back, and you can't tell that it's It's A Wig. You just can't, because it's so well done on these lights, to wear it back up and a half up, half down that looks really pretty. You could wear it with a headband that matches. You could also wear it with a clip, but I have to caution you that if you're going to use a clip like one of these claw Clips, be very careful, the hand-tied cap isn't puncture because it will be ruined. So if you want to use a claw clip like the ones, I use make sure that you're only going around the hair, whereas in a wefted cap we could anchor it in the wefts. If you decide to cut the lace on any of your uh lights, any of the genre no lights, please be careful not to cut into where the fibers are, because it can change the circumference or it could change the fit. So something to keep in mind just be very careful if you opt to cut it, it's best um to go very, very slowly and just a little bit at a time if you are trying to decide which one to choose, since they both have hand tied caps, They both have full monofilament top. I think the deciding point would be do you? Do you really need to have that lighter density? If you do then, yes, then Rachel light would be the one for you, but if you prefer a little bit more volume a little bit higher density than the regular Rachel will work perfectly for you. I forgot to mention that if you wanted to tuck it, you can tuck it as well. Thank you foreign. I appreciate you spending this time with me. Please, let me know what you think about Rachel light. Is this a style that you would like, or would you stick better to the regular Rachel I love to hear from you? I hope everyone is having a fantastic day and I will see you next time. Bye,
