5 Easy Scarf Hairstyles Perfect For Prom, Weddings, Bridal, Summer

Hello welcome back with the warmer weather quickly approaching. I thought it was the perfect time to share an updated, scarf hairstyles tutorial. These hairstyles are so cute for spring and summer they're, quick, they're, easy they're, gentle on your hair and they're such a great way just to switch up your everyday hairstyle. So let's get started all right so for hair prep. These hairstyles are nice and simple. The focus is on the scarf, so i want to create really like soft smooth curls, so i thought i'd walk you through that routine. Now this portion of the video is sponsored by a garnier. Now i'm sure you hear the word sulfates being thrown around so to keep it nice and simple. If you have dry color treated, damaged hair like me, then i would recommend incorporating a sulfate free, shampoo and conditioner into your hair care routine. If you haven't already, they won't strip your hair of its natural oils. They keep your color in nice and vibrant and best of all they're nice and gentle on your scalp. I have such a sensitive scalp, especially along my hairline, at the back of my neck right here, and these do not cause any irritation which makes me so happy. So i use these about once a week, so every other time that i wash my hair and the best part is. This shampoo has the most luxurious lather that you sometimes miss with sulfate-free products and this conditioner, it's so hydrating. I don't have to use a leave-in afterwards and i have to say it: if you've used these products, then you know they smell so good. They honestly they leave your hair smelling incredible, but garnier has been my go-to for years and i really love the move towards sustainability, that they're making they use sustainably sourced honey and these bottles are made of 100 recycled plastic and how cool is this new pump design? I love it, but i would love to know if you are currently using sulfate-free products if you're looking to use them your experience with them, because everybody's hair type is very different. So i'm curious all right. Next, i'm going to spray some of this kristoff robin instant volume mist. I just love this soft airy volume that this creates. This is another product, that's great! If you have a sensitive scalp and since it's getting really humid outside i'm going to go in with the l'oreal frizz erase serum, this also has a heat protectant built into it, which is great, since i will be roughly blow drying my hair and curling it today And lately i've been loving curling, my hair, with a one inch curling iron, the curls just last for so long. The last four days - and i love the movement that it adds to the hairstyle. So i'm just curling all of my hair away from my face and i'm catching a curl before releasing it. So curls are done. If only it was that quick. But let's get started on the hairstyles i'll be using these scarf and scrunchy combos from three people, and i love these because they're two in one and i just untied the scarf from the scrunchie, but any scarf will do now. Let'S start with the simplest hairstyle, the one from the intro so just fold your scarf, so that it's in a rectangular shape hold the middle of it and place it underneath your hair at the back of your neck and then pull the other side through, so that They'Re equal on both sides next bring both your ends up and i like to cover my ears slightly and then just pull out the hair. That'S in front of your scarf to frame your face, then cross your scarf around itself at the top of your head. Bringing your ends forward and tightly tucking them, underneath your scarf out of the way, and that's it a very simple and cute way to dress up a down. Hairstyle next is the perfect scarf ponytail for summer. So to add some lift. I added some texture powder at the crown, but you could also tease this section and then next just loosely gather all of your hair from underneath into a low ponytail pulling out any face framing pieces, then secure your ponytail and i love to make a hair bungee And i find this just helps to maintain all the volume at the crown next pinch and pull on small pieces of hair around your crown. This helps to add some texture movement volume. You don't want to skip this step all right fold, your scarf into a rectangular shape and place the middle of it on the top of your head, so that both sides are equal and you could also bobby pin this into place next cross. Your ends underneath your ponytail and then bring them up tying them into a knot or above your scarf, is longer right. At the top add some more volumizing powder to your ponytail and there you have it. I love how the scarf just instantly dresses up such a simple ponytail, making this hairstyle really special next is a braided hairstyle and i wasn't planning on sharing this look, but i'm so happy that i did because it ended up being my favorite, so secure your hair Into a ponytail, i just used the ponytail from the last hairstyle as my base and then take one end of your scarf and pull it underneath your elastic until both sides are even then divide your ponytail into three placing the end of your scarf on the top Of your outer left and right sections and then just begin three strand braiding by crossing your right section, underneath the middle and then crossing your left section, underneath the middle and by crossing underneath as you braid. This will help your scarf stand out all right, braid, all the way to the bottom and secure your ends with a clear hair elastic and then pinch and pull on the outside of your braid, starting at the top to add some extra volume and that lived in Look and there you have it again. I really love how the scarf transforms a very easy hairstyle into a really beautiful and unique. Look next is a gorgeous low, bun hairstyle. So for this hairstyle i started with the base from the second hairstyle and the braid from the third so begin. Securing all of your hair, where you want your bun to sit and then take one end of your scarf and pull it underneath your elastic until both sides are even then place your scarf on top of your outer left and right sections, and just three strand braid. Your ponytail all the way to the bottom once secure begin tightly. Wrapping your braid counterclockwise around your ponytail, and i really wanted the ends of my scarf to peek out on this side. So it might take a couple of tries to get the wrapping just right once you're happy with it hold it tightly against your head, tuck your ends underneath and just bobby pin them out of the way so to secure the bun i hook to the outside, of The braid push the pin towards my head and then slide it underneath towards the center just want to keep repeating this around your bun about six or seven times until it's nice and secure okay. I love this hairstyle, it's so simple and such a beautiful way to keep your hair up off your neck during the warmer months. Lastly, is a braided hairstyle that you loved in my last tutorial, and i thought adding a scarf, would just look beautiful so begin by gathering all the hair at the crown of your head and just clip it away. Next, take your scarf by the middle and place it underneath your section and secure it into place by crossing two bobby pins over one another to create an x unclip that top section of hair - and this is almost a fishtail braid, but it's actually simpler and faster. So divide your section in half and then divide your left section into two pieces and then divide your right section into two pieces, and i promise this is easier than it sounds now. Take your outer right section and your scarf and then cross it underneath joining it into your left section and then take your outer left section and your scarf and cross it underneath joining it into your right section, not too bad right all right. So we're going to add a step by adding in some hair. So i find it easiest to cross that outer right section underneath and join it into that left section and then add the hair so trace your finger from your part about an inch down from your previous section, and then you want to cross this underneath and join It into your left section, left side same idea. Take your outer left section cross it underneath and join it into your right section and then gather one inch wide section of hair and cross it underneath and join it into your right section, and you just want to keep repeating this pattern as far down as you, Like i think this as a half up, hairstyle would look beautiful, but i continued all the way down until i reached my neck and don't worry about making this braid too perfect. Okay time, for the best part, the transformation hold your ponytail tightly with one hand and starting at the top begin pinching and pulling on the outside of your braid. You want to fan it out, nice and large, and don't forget to pull on your scarf too to help it stand out, make it pop, especially if it's tucked, underneath your braid once you're happy with it tightly secure everything together with a hair elastic and now you Can make some final adjustments to your braid next grab both ends of your scarf cross them, underneath your ponytail bringing your ends up and tying them together at the top. Now this was the fifth hairstyle at this point, so i needed to touch up my curls. I added some more volumizing powder and there you have it a beautiful braided hairstyle. I love how this turned out and i really can't wait to see your recreations, so there we have it.
