How To: Sleek Low Ponytail With Weave On 4B Natural Hair | More Of Aaliyah

Today'S video, i'm showing you guys how i got this little cute little sleek curly little weave, hey shawty, with the long text i'll talk shawty with my long legs yeah. Last year i kept today's video, i'm just going to show you guys how i pretty much. Did this super easy hairstyle mind you this packet here costed me like 11, so it's super cheap um and i got it at my local beauty supply store. So you really don't really need to spend that much money when doing a little ponytail. So yeah i'm going to show you guys how i zip that welcome to my channel. So this is what my hair looks like um, it's kind of blow-dried, but not really blow-dried. If you guys wanted to know, i am using it's not hair, but i want to use with my hair. Let me go get it, but what i like to use before um blow drying my hair and during blow drying. My hair is the anti humidity gloss and shine mist from cream in nature. This is probably the only product that really works into my hair when blow drying and it doesn't leave my hair. Like super dry um, i did have braids into my hair, literally the entire quarantine. So my hair is on the dry side, but um i got ta go places. I got ta go somewhere. I don't really wan na wear my hair up or down. So i figured. Let'S just get some cheap hair and do a little ponytail, so i ended up getting this hair from kimi master kaima master. I honestly don't really know. I just picked it up. The lady there was just like yeah if you're just trying to get like a cheap. Do for like one night pick up this here, so i ended up getting this hair. It is called um, harlem, 125 and 1b. It is actually a. It is actually a natural wave in the length 18 inches. Don'T forget to subscribe and let's just get right into this hair honey. This hair. I just want to also say that it is optional. You don't need to blow dry your hair or straighten your hair, but um. I just feel like it gives it more of like a sleek low cut, look rather than sort of like the waves and uh yeah. That'S why i just feel like it is at least a little bit important to sort of get your hair a little bit straight. I'M also going to be using eco styler gel. You don't have to use this gel and uh. One thing i really do like about this gel is that it doesn't like flake my hair. Also. Its main ingredient is water, so sometimes with certain hair, textures and hair types you'll get like sort of like that. Wavy look pretty much have to tie your hair down for a longer period of time. So that way you can kind of get that sleek. Look. So with that, along with that, i will be using got to be spray freeze spray, whatever it's called um. I like to use this as well to sort of make sure it's extra sleek and try not just like lay down these edges baby. So without further ado, let's just get right into it. Honestly, i feel like this is kind of a cute style, but like lucky, i don't think i would ever rock my hair like this, and i also kind of need to cut my ends. But this is not what we're here for it's, not what we're here for so, let's just let's grab the comb. Did i not prepare for this video where's, the comb? Okay, okay? So i'm first going to start off with parting, my hair, hmm, i feel like i'm trying to go like down the middle, like i feel, like i haven't done like a down the middle look in like a really really long time. Um there's no like real technique. When it comes to like parting, your hair just try to make sure that your um - i don't remember, what's like a camera, what this is called like a little peak thing, but try to aim it where you're in between there and um that way, you're actually able To sort of line up your face and see that it's in the middle um, you can also do a side part honestly, that's probably one of the easiest. If you feel like you can't actually achieve just a straight down the middle look, but i feel like my my hair. Naturally, my hair naturally just goes that way because i just feel like. Maybe my hairs are just like accustomed to sort of always being this way. Um, i don't really straighten my hair that much, but i clearly did not cream properly. So if you see that it's just like leave-in leave-in conditioner that i put in my hair, while also blow-drying my hair, so it's not dandruff mind your business. In order for me to make sure that my hair is slicked down, i do not start gelling and putting it like this, although i can achieve this look as well, i think it's easier for me to sort of part my hair into two gel it back and Then gel the front half as well, so that's pretty much what i'm going to do start off with parting, your hair into two sections. Don'T worry about this being like super neat? It doesn't really matter too much, but i do this because i honestly want my hair to be as slick down as possible and it's easier for me. So pretty much it's going to look like this. I'M then going to take this top half tie it in a bun, doesn't really matter how it looks and i'm going to work on this bottom half here, oh she's crispy. Sometimes i get into these moods, where, like i see like other influencers with like super cute hair, like short haircuts and i'm like damn like, i kind of want to cut my hair too, but i know that, like i'm, i, oh i'm, always fishing my style. So, there's no way that i would ever like. Actually do it, so i'm gon na go in with the eager eaker. So i'm gon na go in with the eco styling gel and i'm gon na start with the lower half of my head, and i'm just gon na apply the gel pretty much going downwards. I'M just gon na put this little part into a low cut bun, so that way when i'm gelling the top it's easier to just mesh with the bottom. Okay girl. Look at that hang time. The hang time, oh she's, showing time to move on to the top half ouch just start from the front and i'll start to gel down just like this, and i use a lot of gel guys. Like honestly, eco styler gel should just like sponsor me. I use so much gel and i like to go all the way to the back and make sure you're going down, because the worst part is like you're, not coating, your hair with enough gel at least, and you can see pretty much see like the gel parts Versus the um, the dry hair parts like it's, it's just not cute, so i'm gon na start off with the first half and i'm gon na gel that down just like that honey. Just like that. If you guys remember that little bun that i made, that is what you're going to pretty much connect this half to. But before we do that, i'm going to take my spray and spray down the edges part just a little bit using my brush and i'm going to continue brushing okay. So i decided to just switch over to a voicemail method, just because everyone in this house is mad loud today, my hair down a bit and then for the back i'll, just begin to sort of make a little bit of like a twist. I don't really care too much about that ending braid because i just feel like if you use a lot of hair you're, not gon na, have to worry about. You know the braids showing, but there's definitely a lot of methods that you can use to. Just not have that happen at all, for example, you can also start the track from below and just work your way up to the top, but i just feel like that is a little bit harder and sometimes, when you're just ready to go, you don't really have The time to do all of that, so this method works. For me, i'm going to take the track and, as you guys can see here, i'm pretty much just making sure that it's all straightened out. I don't want it to be twisted. I don't want it to be bent up. I just want it to be very straight so that way, when i am starting to wrap it around, the track is facing upwards. Don'T worry too much about what the hair is looking like once i'm done, wrapping it around i'll then go out and comb it out. So that way it just looks a little bit more natural than it does now. I hold the track in from one side and i pretty much hold it down as i'm wrapping with my other hand and wrapping with my other hand, and i'm pretty much just going around my natural hair and i'm going around and around and around, and it pretty Much is an arm game like when i tell you guys this is a whole workout. So, as i get to the end, you guys can see that i tend to pull on it a little bit and that actually secures it and makes it a little bit tighter. So that way it can get the ending, and i can go around and wrap it to make sort of like this band. Next i'll grab some bobby pins just to secure that it stays in place and there you guys go here. Is my natural curly weave bun? I sometimes like to add baby hairs. Sometimes i don't in this style normally. This is something that i would do if i'm like, ready to go, and i don't really have time, but if you want to continue watching, i am going to show you guys how i would do my baby hairs if i were to go out so next, i'm Just going to comb out the ends and just make it a little bit more fluffy and less like fake weave type, looking, okay! So honestly, it really depends if i want to wear baby hairs or not. Sometimes i like to leave it like really sharp and straight down, but i think for this look i am going to add some baby hairs and we're going to just slick this down. I'M saying you know the vibes, you know the vibes, so i'm going to get my baby hair comb, my toothbrush, it's dirty but mind your business mind. You risen. It'S all. 20 20.. You know cute subtle, but like not basic she's cute.
