Crochet Ponytail Hats & A Christmas Stocking

Hi guys it's lisa yeah good morning, good morning, how's everybody today, oh, i guess i should be doing a video today shouldn't i. I should be just showing you all my lovely makes. Maybe i should have a shower. I don't feel like i'm here you should. Should i have a shower okay, i'm gon na have a shower talk to you. Talk to you talk to you in a bit guys i'll, pull myself together, good lord anyways, okay! So seriously guys i had a shower um yeah, so this hair is dead, dry gross, but at least i can't say it's pros it's over processed because uh this is all natural. This is all if you guys remember what, if you guys have been with me from the very very beginning of my videos, then you will know that i had dark hair like yeah and then you'll see in those beginning videos where i've got the gray streak down. So yeah, this is all me ever since i've been youtubing, i have let my hair go, and this is it. This is. This is what you get. Oh, oh, i got my hair stylist. Oh thank you, hello, hello, hairstyle. That looks better now yeah. So i think i'm gon na plug in maybe i need a straightener. I have a curling iron, maybe i'll curl it with a curling iron yeah. I can see how it's so my hair has changed too it's aged, too eh yep yeah mine gets all greasy now. I don't know i'm ready for a nap, though holy cow you guys with fibro, will understand. I only have so many spoons for today, and i think i just used up five of them. Trying having a shower you guys with fibro wall, know what i'm talking about right, because whoa yeah i'm ready for a nap. Okay talked in a bit, maybe maybe not: okay, okay, let's try this out. Shall we so this side? I use my curling iron plugs way over there and i kind of went like that. Oh yeah, i got to cut my hair. I got to cut all this dead stuff off yeah anyway, never really worn. My like, when i was a kid. I had straight hair. My hair kind of goes all kinkly weird, but let's here, let's see how let's see what what's going on here, let me take that stephen's walking around on his slippers and annoy me they're, so loud honey. These are they're, not those thoughts. I don't know i've just been come, become very sensitive to sounds and noises yeah. I got ta cut my hair. This is too from for personally speaking women, my age. Well me, okay, i got ta knock, i got yeah. I got ta go cut this i got. Ta go cut this because for me, when you have long hair, it pulls you down and my camera's crooked it it pulls. You down drags you down and you don't look as fresh as vibrant. I mean you pop it up. Ah, look at me, i'm sad yeah. I got ta chop this off. This is too. This is like i'm not saying short, because i can't do. I can't do short hair, but there's a certain length that you hit and it ages. You by like 50 years, just saying just saying, lighten your load cut, cut off that and you will be fresh like a kitten or whatever. Okay i'll, be back guys, i'm being silly. I feel fancy guys because i got, and i don't even know where to look in this - that now i get why people say. I don't know where to look in this camera um a fox wait, oh he's way over there he's running sorry dark! Sorry guys! I wasn't quick enough for you. Okay, let's see what else fun and activities lisa is up to today. Okay, hang on okay, so anyway, whatever i don't care, my hair is my hair is what it is guys. I'M i'm not cutting it today. Ah, i'm just not, but anyway you're not here, but oh bad beauty talk with lisa yeah, because you'll learn a lot from me. Won'T you, okay! So anyway, i have been crocheting a lot of these hats and you might have seen um our zelda nrj3 z, um. She did her video on her hats because she saw me making. I was posting these on instagram they're, like the messy bun ponytail hats, i've been going crazy, making and look at the texture, it's front and c front and back post front and back post double crochets. I believe all like the whole thing, so it's they're really thick and warm. Now this one is tiny. I don't know. I think i was in a live and i got all messed up with what i was doing. It'S still gorgeous so there's that one i made this one here uh. I don't have the ball band for that. So there's my ponytail thing there. So there you go, there's your hand and of course look it. I wear. I wear ponytails all the time. Don'T i guys, and today i'm not wearing a ponytail and i'm putting on ponytail hats makes a lot of sense: lisa, okay, where's, my ponytail. So anyway, then i've got this one, this hat whoops. What is? Oh, my god, woman, okay, so i've got this hat here and i made this one using coffee shop, premiere and the colorway is konna. So that and look guys it like. Look i'm not like color. What do you call that when you cut yarn and you attach it and oh good, lord i'm not color blocking no color color controlling i'm, not color? I know everybody was yelling it before i even said it. I know. I know i hear you uh no color controlling that's exactly how it came out guys, oh fancy pants and this one this one here. If i can find the ball bands i'll put the ball bands, i probably won't i'm lying, i'm lying to you guys. I think this is a premier anti-pilling yarn, yeah cutie patootie. Oh this one is purple rich purple. Look at that! Peekaboo, hello, pretty so super stretchy super stretchy love it. Why does steven have the door wide open? I'M freezing here? Oh i made one in latte, cakes. There'S mine that i made in latte, cakes and yeah see see no color controlling look at the top, but you don't see the top. Once it's on your head, oh where's, my ponytail, why don't i have a ponytail? Oh yeah. I guess i just oh, my god, guys they're with this woman today there there we go ta-da. What do you think that one in the latte cakes forget the color? Oh steven found me some ball bands. Oh red heart. Yes, thank you! So red heart super saver. I bet you my words are going backwards in this camera. Uh frosty green fleck, frosty green fleck. Was this one red heart super saver? Um? Oh, that, oh okay! So this one is premiere every day and the color of the yarn is just saw it lilac ridge, lilac ridge, and that's not it um. No, that's not the ball band for that anyway. So yeah, these are nice. Eh. Can you hand me a ponytail holder, please, and so now i've got this one, but these do do because it's front post back post guys these do take a while, okay, so see here. This is the outside of your head. So, oh z, i know you're going to kill me as he calls it something something fault, sandal and dree's fault. Or i don't know, i see, i forget what you call it, but anyway no worries guys because you turn this baby this way and you can barely see it, you can barely see it right and this one is ferris wheel, yarn, there's blue yarn and the color Is sprinkles and so look this one too is turning out no color controlling. Look it it's doing its own jazzy design, fancy eh! Thank you yeah! So that's it! That'S my story! Uh! I think i made i made a cup. I got made a couple more. I gave them to my uh, a friend of mine. I want to try the purple one up for you guys. Actually what i wanted to do was i wanted to have white too. For this. I thought that would give it a nice pop of color. If i had, if i did white, you know ended it. Do i start? Oh yeah, you start up here around the headband and then you go the point. Not headband ponytail holder, not a headband, a ponytail holder, yeah see yeah. So that's what i've been and now i've been making like a crazy woman and uh yeah. I love it because it stretches and you can pull it down and you just keep going as you know, as as far as far as you want. I, like my hats, way down here. That'S how i, like my hats, well yeah like that way down over my ears. I like them, see yeah so there's my ponytail hat. You guys don't have to you guys! Don'T have to go this far. You just keep going and going and going until it fits you or whoever you're making it for, and you stop and end with a row of uh. I believe it's single crochets, yeah, ta-da, nice, so nice, so nice and stretchy and and it's like double you know it's squishy squishy soft, because you got the double the front post, double front: post, back, post, double crochets, so it's nice and thick and snugly warm! Yes, madonna, i have not sewn in my ends. Okay, i was so excited about making making the hats i just kept whipping out hats. I finished like okay, i got my pile and then i'll sit down one day and um sew in sew in all my ends. Well, i still got that so i've got a bunch of these one more on my hook and then i stopped making that i'm making something else which is a front post back post. Oh my god. So it's taking me forever to make this thing so stay tuned. For that, oh and i made oh, my god, i made a a stalking look at my heel. Look at my heel job! I don't know what i did there, but anyway made this. Oh, oh i'll, put the links to this hat tutorial in the description box below um and i'll put the link to this stocking i made well. Yes, i haven't sewn the ends of that either because i think i want to rip that out and fix that up.
