Hello, this is Pamela and you are in Pamela's, adoring crochet. Welcome to my channel grab you a cup of coffee, sit back and relax and enjoy some good old yarny talk. Well, hello, guys um! This video is I'm just sitting here crocheting. I have been working on a one of these dumpling cats and I thought well, while I'm sitting here, why don't I just talk to you guys and while I kind of finish this up here is what I'm working on it's going to be a ladybug cat, and I used the wrong hook, size a hook, that's a little big. This is a g 4.0 and it calls for a 3.25, and I thought I had. I grabbed the 3.25 and I was already here before I realized it and I was like well. You know I kind of already got the face on and the eyes and all that I'm just going to keep on going so anyway. So I'm just sitting in my little sitting area in my bedroom here and um um. Like I said I was working on this. I wanted to work. I wanted to make a a few of them this Saturday morning, it's Saturday by the way and before I go out with hanging out with um Tanya and my brother-in-law, David and stuff, but what I'm working on now is. I'Ve got the little tail the only issue I've had with this pattern. So far is the antenna, the most simplest looking thing of all on here. But what happened is when it tells you it says to make antenna. It tells you because I think, we're right here. You single crochet like four or something, and it says start in 10 or something and it's a single crochet six and then it says single, crochet, four and then repeat second antenna what you did on first, which is single crochet six, and then it has you to Go all the way around and I'm like well there's nothing telling me to chain, I mean, am I supposed to chain and then single crochet down the chain. I don't know I have no idea, so I just did that instead, I just when I got to that point. I single crochet, I mean I chained. Six went back down to chain, so I had five single crochets going down and then I did my four and then I did the same thing here and then I finished the instructions, but I was two yeah two stitches short so and in here somewhere. I just added um some increases on a couple of stitches. It was just for that row. All the other rows have been just fine, no problems at all. It'S I don't know. Maybe I'm just not reading the instructions right, but whenever I act, if I follow it, it is single crochet, six single crochet, four single crochet six, and it puts me way back here. There are nothing sticking out so um because it just says single crochet six wait single one single crochet in the next six stitches anyway. So but yeah I'm not worried about it. I made it work. I think it's cute so right now, what I'm working on are the little legs this is all I have left is to put these little feet on there. I'Ve got four I've made three so um on my fourth one, and then I have some little black dots I'll, put up here, three dots and then this one's done. But then I've got to make another one because um my friend Genie that I work with in the media team at church. She wants one of these for her desk and I don't think she would want a big one like this. So um, I'm not quite sure. If I'm going to keep this or give this as a Christmas gift or something this year or not, I'm not quite sure what I want to do, but um yeah, that's what I'm working on this Saturday morning, I um just got through um. Let'S see what did I do? Oh yeah, I just got through kind of straightening my hair a little bit. You know to be able to go out into the public um and I mocked my floors. I have two cakes. I'Ve got a bake today, we're having a boys and girls missionary um, bake sale today to raise money for the boys and girls missionaries and that's where they send them bikes and motorcycles. Uh food and things like that, depending on where they're stationed anyway and um, I'm not sure exactly, but it's for that kind of stuff. It'S for the missionaries and to help them in that area. Transportation type things um, but anyway, so we're having a bake, sale on auction bake sale today, so I'm making two about two box: cakes, a pecan. What did I buy a butter pecan and I bought a German chocolate cake and I got the eight by eight size pans, and so I'm going to take the cake, mix and divide it up between. You know the two pans so I'll end up having four cakes that I'll be able to take to the church so yeah. If I don't keep two for myself um, who knows anyway, um I'm going to work on this little foot. As I talk to you guys, um six there's only three rows, so I had to make a magic ring, and I pulled this to tighten today is my daughter's birthday yep. She has gone and stayed the night in Fayetteville um she's, going to watch the Hogs play Alabama, so Arkansas is playing Alabama and that's been a big rival for years, and so it's going to be a very exciting game. So she's going to keep me updated on all that the excitement and stuff going on up there. Um, let's see when I talked to her it's about an hour ago, so she's got about one more hour of a drive um and then, who knows how long she's going to be once she gets to Fayetteville in the line just to get to the stadium parking And stuff I mean we're talking it's an all-day thing, so um all right. So that's one two, three four um. I think it's six yeah five and six, and then I push it out and then I've got one more row to go and um. I like to take the end right there and kind of put it on the inside a little bit after I've crocheted Around It. Whatever tail I've got left there and then I got ta, do six more stitches and that's one two three four five six and then slip stitch into the next Stitch. Now my little sitting area here um, it's just a recliner, a table um. It has one of those little black like food trays or computer trays or something I have that directly in front of me and then my whip cart is um in that direction of me, and then I have my little round table here and um. It has supplies and stuff on it too, so um but yeah, it's nice and comfy in here. I have this Afghan and I have my little white one. You guys remember. I made that I love this thing, but it gets hot, but it does feel good, um and Abby is sitting next to me, lady is somewhere, I'm not sure Max is right over there. So all the dogs are in here with me and um. Oh yeah, that's one of the new hooks The Little Mermaid hooks. I left the link in the description box of the other video I'll leave it in this one too. A lot of you guys were asking where's the link where's. The link. I forgot to put the link so, but this was given to me by my daughter and that was really sweet of her all right. So I got him one of the legs done and um, I'm just going to figure out when I make amigurumi and they call for a certain size millimeter of eye. I usually always go up a size all right now. I'Ve got the four feet and it says: fasten off with the slip, stitch and leave a tail for sewing. Do not stuff um, pin and sew the legs and the tail to the body which I've already put that on, because it actually leaves a little hole here. For you, when you finish the round - and so I just sewed that on there then sew the spots onto the back okay so directly, underneath it I'm going to, I got to go through my little basket here. This is a little basket I made um. I got ta make me another one. It'S this one right here: okay, like nail polish in here another hook, this is probably the hook. I was needing yeah, that's a 3.25! That'S what I was supposed to do this project with um nail clippers, and I don't know why I got this um hair bread pair of scissors, these to Mark pages that I'm working in another pair of scissors um used one. Sometimes I take these and I take my um. I call it my yarn needle and I'll weave it see if you can see that the hose I'll weave it in this right here and it helps me keep up with my yarn needle, but what's funny is see right now, I'm drinking coffee um on one of My coasters, I take my yarn needle as long as it's sitting here and have coffee on it. I take my yarn needle and weave it in on my coaster there, and then I have my coffee on it, and so, when I need it, I just get my yarn needle out off of it. Yeah I've been doing that for a long time. Uh. Let'S see what else do I have in here, I have fabric clips a whole bunch of these, a rubber band and Stitch markers, both kinds, foreign one of these right here, I'm sure that's to keep on my yarn like that um anything else. I hear a dog. Oh yeah, this is, I believe, it's one of the things I put my supposed to protect your scissors. Let'S see a scissor holder so which obviously I'm not really using. I just heard lady um there's a pearl. I don't know why. I got that in there but yeah, that's all oh yeah, and then I've got this yarn needle the plastic. I don't care for the plastic very much, but if I don't have my metal one, this does the job um. It'S just not my preference, but I have them and I keep them and I I protect them like. I do my silver ones, because I'm always losing another hair tie and I don't even wear ponytails. I don't know why I got so many hair ties in here or ponytail holders. I guess you call it. I don't even wear ponytails um but yeah. That'S all. This is just one of them that I made now uh the one that I made for the dolls. I'M going to make another one of those four in here and replace this one with one. That'S a little bit taller because I'd like to keep my yarn, I mean my yarn into my Hooks and there's the ones that I'm working on and see that kind of sticks out. But if I have a taller one, it will be. It won't like lean like that and almost fall over it'll stay in there better anyway. So all that being said, this is what I plan on polishing my nails with here in a couple of days, because I've got a few little tutorials that I want to do and um I like to do that with nail polish on. So, let's just get some of this stuff back in here. I don't know why I've got that in there um, okay, so a straight needles. That'S the one thing I don't have. I was looking for straight needles. It'S the whole reason. I got that thing out because if I put a straight needle right there, it will. Let me know where my middle is um and there's my middle and my tail doesn't look like it's completely centered. It should be more like right there, but it don't matter. I tell you what I'm going to use my yarn needle all right. So if I take the face, yeah I'll go by the face right down, there see it lets me know. There'S my metal and I got ta eyeball that besides eyeballing it in the camera and it's not the middle through the camera is not the same thing. Okay - oh this guys, this is not easy fundamental. Why is it not easy shouldn't? Be that hard find the middle okay? I'M gon na go with that as my middle all right so now, I've got to put four feet on and motion detected at the backyard. Sorry guys, that's my ring all right, so I think probably about right there, so we're just going to put this on, and what I do is when I do put things like this on, I do not weave it in until I have all of them on that Way, um in case one is off. I can just undo it and then, if I get them all straight, then I go ahead and weave them in okay. So we have one so it'll. Look like this one all right and then see. I just take my yarn needle out and we'll do another one so um I had a big day at church. Yesterday we had our women's meeting to discuss all the things that we want um for the Women's Conference that we're putting on that was really fun. We got to go through um Little Boxes, tablecloths decorations, all kinds of stuff. It was a lot of fun. I just really enjoyed that. So, let's get this on here. I didn't realize, but I've already been talking, 15 minutes guys and um all right. So now we have two okay and then take that off and I'm going to do two more so guys, um, it's pretty late. I'M going to. I guess, put this on: maybe I'll just speed this up, because I know you guys are going to see it right. Um, so let me go ahead and sew these on real, quick and I'll just speed it up. So you don't have to wait till I get them sewed on foreign, I sewed it on Sideways. I sewed it on like this instead of like this, but at least I caught it right, that's like something's, not right about this foot, um all right, so we are going to start over there. We go all right now, just put the foot on the right way, that was little lady. She just came in from outside and let's see it's 11 30. I'm getting hungry, my sister hasn't called um. I don't know if they've canceled plans with me or not maybe they change their mind if they did I'm going to go in there and there's two options of things that I want to eat: either chicken strips from the air fryer or a Tostinos Pizza all right. So I've got that one more to go. Okie dokie this time, I'll make sure I've got it the right way. All right here we go. I like doing amigurumi um. The thing that I don't care about is faces and um sewn on little pieces like this um. I'M not too thrilled about those, mainly because I'm always worried about getting them straight. Anything which faces is the same way. Anything that I have to worry about trying to get straight is the part I don't really care about. I can sit and crochet round and round and round around all day long and I'm perfectly happy with that changing colors all day long, I don't mind changing colors but trying to get something straight: yeah, okay! Now! Well I'm going to leave that one on there. I need something flat to test it. Here'S my red scissors, there's my um roll counter had to use and, let's see, make sure I got the right hook, yeah, not that I need it right now: okay, the Cat Sits Up and she sits up here. We go foreign, she sits up pretty good. I like her all right guys, I guess I'll. Let you go. I'M gon na weave these in okay guys. So I end up uh finishing the ladybug and then I ended up using a 2.75 millimeter crochet hook and I made the smaller ladybug and the Bumblebee and, of course, here's the book. I didn't get to show you guys the book, but here it is, and this is going to be the Box. Let me see yeah it's going to be this little box right here, and the line is what I'm going to make next from this book, but yeah there they are, I think, they're as cute as can be here's the back side. Aren'T they adorable looks like we got Max over here, taking a little nap s Max he's not gon na wake up he's like I'm too comfy Mommy, all right um. I do have an affiliate link to Amazon for this uh dumpling cat, so I'll leave that in the description box below oh and then the color I'm using on this, I went on the box, I'm using a 2.75 Miller, millimeter crochet hook as well, and the color On this is called camel, but big twist is what I'm making the box with. Oh, don't forget: um live life, have fun and I'll see you in my next video bye thanks for watching. Please like comment and subscribe.
